Proposal of establishment of an outdoor geological expositions near the village Kozolupy

Diploma work, the proposal of establishment of an outdoor geological expositions near the village Kozolupy deals with characteristics of the place where the exhibition has to be established, natural conditions, geological history of the place and other tourist destinations of the area. Further work characterizes geoparks and issues associated with them and indicates the difference between geoparks and geological exposition, there is also provided a particular example. In next part of the work there are rocks selected for the exhibition, their description and geological characteristics of the area where it came from. This theoretical part follows the practical one. Here is described everything needful concerning the location of geological exposition in the attachment there are exhibition plans and photographs of the park, where exposition is to be located. There are also particular proposals of information boards. Last but not least, work is drawing up the budget. Diploma work concludes proposal of excursions to interesting locations with the visit of the exposition. This Master thesis was created as a part project GA JU 065/2010/S.

Improving the Quality of the Town Infrastructure in the Area of Tourist Trade as the Developement Factor in the Region.

This project will markedly contribute to the development of the town of Horní Stropnice and as well as the whole South Bohemian Region in the area of tourist trade. Tourist trade is one of the key areas of the economic developement of the region. From the findings of the particular chapters of this paper it appears, that necessary organisational, technical and financial conditions for the implementation of the given capital assets and for consequent running of the planned project facilities will be created. The implemented project and its operation will generate a trading income exceeding the costs.

Strategic development of tourism in the Town of Vyšší Brod

The topic of my thesis is the strategic development of tourism in the Town of Vyšší Brod. At the beginning I focused on explaining the basic concepts related to city development and tourism. In the practical part, I first worked the city situational analysis and analysis of competing destinations, and building on that, I developed a SWOT analysis, defining strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and possible threats. After an overall assessment of the situation in the Town, I defined the vision and strategic objectives, through which development vision achieved.

The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Šumava foothills

The project is to build a multifunctional building for tourism development in the area. For this purpose it is necessary reconstruction of the former vicarage and its surroundings. Attractive village center and to create conditions to support the development and management of tourism in the region of Šumava foothills. This is connected with the office building of destination management organizations, information corner (info-) for tourists and space for a small museum exhibition. The project will assist not only the tourists who come to the place, but will also help operators of tourism services in the region and local residents. The purpose of this project is to exploit the potential of tourism in the region for its development. Among these conditions rectory building return to operational status and help to improve the visual view of the village center.

Where the centre of Bohemia, Moravia, the Czech Republic and Europe is located

The centre of any territorial unit, as e.g. Bohemia, Czech Republic, Europe etc., is undoubtedly an attraction for the town or village where this point is located. This fact contributes surely to the significance of the locality and perhaps it attracts more visitors. This is the reason why there are more localities considered as the centre of the territorial unit. In this contribution, some most significant centres are presented. The method how to determine the centre of a selected territory as the centre of gravity is described. Using this method the positions of centres of Bohemia, Moravia, the Czech Republic and Europe have been calculated and compared with other mentioned results.

Využití potenciálu mikroregionu Vlachova Březí pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu

Práce hodnotí cestovní ruch v mikroregionu Vlachovo Březí. Nejprve představuje přírodní prostředí, do kterého je mikroregion zasazen. Rozebírá základní předpoklady pro cestovní ruch, jako jsou např. přírodní památky, movité památky, vybavenost materiálně technickou základnou, různé zvyky a kulturní akce konané v mikroregionu. Jsou zde představené jednotlivé obce, které mikroregion tvoří. Velmi zajímavá je SWOT analýza mikroregionu, ze které vyplývá, na co by se měly obce zaměřit, aby zvýšili svou atraktivitu pro cestovní ruch.

Diplomová práce nejprve v obecné rovině představuje cestovní ruch, a to od jeho historie, přes přepoklady rozvoje cestovního ruchu, po jeho rozčlenění dle různých parametrů. Práce se také dotýká problematiky monitorování statistických ukazatelů cestovního ruchu a rozvoje regionů. Druhá část práce se pak konkrétně věnuje městu Jindřichův Hradec. Analyzuje současnou situaci města, jeho předpoklady a atraktivity pro cestovní ruch. V závěru práce jsou představeny vlastní návrhy na budoucí rozvoj Jindřichova Hradce, které vycházejí z uvedené SWOT analýzy.

The Influence Of Tourism On Local Development In Selected Region - Táborsko (Chýnov)

My graduation thesis is aimed at the definition of the examined tourist destination Tábor, precisely the Chýnov, and to do analysis of the offers and demand of tourism in selected area. Then determine the impact of tourism on local development, to define the multiplier of tourism for the area and determine the impact of tourism on the budget of municipalities. An output of the thesis are small measures which point to development of the tourism in Chýnov. One of them is an environmental package for a city, or a proposal of own green symbol with a picture of a bat.

The influence of tourism on local development in the selected region: Sezimovo Ústí

The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of tourism on local development in Sezimovo Ústí. Other objectives are to analyze supply and demand of tourism, define the multiplier of tourism for the area and the impacts of tourism on the budget of the municipality and on the surrounding environment. They will be identified the impacts of tourism on the selected region and designed possibilities for further development of the area based on findings from the completed situation analysis and own field surveys.
