The issue of energy-efficient home heating
Kollár, Ľubomír ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
Low-energy houses are becoming more common and requested. The Bachelor's thesis focuses on heating and ventilation of low-energy houses. The beginning chapters describe and explain basic principles of these buildings and basics of air-handling and heating systems. The main part of the work overviews contemporary heating and ventilation systems while pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. The work includes a design of heating and ventilation of low-energy house.

Heating and ventilating of low-energy and passive houses
Jankola, Mario ; Musil, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis focuses on heating and ventilation of low-energy and passive houses. The beginning chapters describe and explain basic principles of these buildings and basics of air-handling systems. The main part of the work overviews contemporary heating and ventilation systems while pointing out their advantages and disadvantages. The last chapter consists of realistic blueprint for low-energy family house, including specifications on heating and ventilation systems, as well as evaluation of their efficiency.

Steam boiler burning wood 60t/h
Umýsa, Radovan ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals constructional and calculation design of the steam boiler 60t/h of clean burning wood. For the parameters of the stoichiometric calculations are carried out and enthalpy calculations of combustion and air. The collected data is then made It a diagram of air and flue gas. The following are the calculations with the heat balance calculations of losses and determination of the boiler thermal efficiency of the boiler. It is made of the combustion chamber design and its thermal calculation. After determining the main dimensions of the combustion chamber moves continue the calculation of boiler heating surfaces. At the end of the calculations are controlling the overall energy balance. Boiler output parameters as temperature, pressure and quantity of the steam.

Phylogenetic analysis of Rieske dioxygenases large subunits genes in soil contaminated with jet fuel
Ptáček, Jakub ; Bořek Dohalská, Lucie (advisor) ; Poljaková, Jitka (referee)
The former military air-base Hradcany is among the most contaminated with organic pollutants localities in Czech Republic. Main cleanup strategy in the area is the bioremediation taking advantage on the natural potential of the autochthonous soil microorganisms to evolve catabolic pathways for in situ degradation of the pollutant. The diversity and abundance of the pathways, as well as the specificity and activity of the encoded enzymes are priority biotic factors determining the bioremediation efficiency. Main task of this work was to analyze the bacterial diversity in jet fuel contaminated soils based on key catabolic genes encoding the Rieske non-haem iron dioxygenases of the toluene/ biphenyl oxygenase branch. High molecular soil DNA was extracted and the sequences encoding catabolic genes were selectively enriched by hybridization to biotinylated oligonucleotides on magnetic microbeads with covalently bound streptavidin. Fragments of the genes for the -subunits of Rieske non-haem iron oxygenases were amplified and analyzed by restriction analysis, cloning and sequencing. Their evolutionary histories were inferred using the Neighbour-Joining and the maximum likelihood methods. The catabolic genes diversity in the actively bioremediated and highly polluted soil HRB was compared with the diversity in the...

Electric Probe Diagnostic of Supersonic Thermal Plasma Jet
Hurba, Oleksiy ; Hrabovský, Milan
This paper describes how electric probes can be used as relatively simple and efficient tool for investigation of structure of flow field in thermal plasma jet at the low pressure. A boundary of plasma jet between nozzle of plasma torch and ambient air was investigated by means of array of moving electric probes. Were defined boundaries of the conducting region and their change with pressure change

Nursing Care in Patients Placed on the Clinitron Beds
PINCOVÁ, Dana
The functional principle of the air bed is ``fluidization{\crqq} which is a technological procedure keeping a layer of grainy material floating by an ascending stream of air. On the dry floating pillow, the patient feels as if he were in the state of zero gravity. At the points of increased pressure, the circulation is not affected and, at the same time, the stream of dry air prevents maceration. The weight of the body is reduced and spread more effectively which decreases the risk of decubites development. Further, it helps the hygienic upkeep, dries up the burnt areas and by doing so it prevents gramnegative ifection from developing. An in-built thermostat maintains the set temperature of the bed, which can be changed according to the need of the patient. The advantages (especially theurapeutical) of the air bed are incontestable, but the bed has also its disadvantages. However, in spite of these drawbacks it brings an efficient help to the nursing staff who cannot imagine providing care without these beds anymore.

Relationship between Structure and Properties of cast Ni-alloys
Smékalová, Jana ; Hutařová, Simona (referee) ; Podrábský, Tomáš (advisor)
Nickel superalloys are developed for conditions which request the corrosion resistance, the heat-resisting and the creep-resisting material. They are used for components of air turbine motors and internal combustion turbines. The efficiency of these mechanisms is elevated with increasing combustion temperature so their development is accentuated. This thesis is concerned with a relationship between a structure and properties of nickel superalloys Inconel 713LC and Inconel 738LC in this thesis.

The Training Plan for military Climbing Instructors Aimed at the Climbing Performance
Vavruška, Pavel ; Barták, Erik (advisor) ; Sýkora, Karel (referee)
Title The condition preparations for military climb instructors for climbing performance. Aim ofdiploma thesis The aim ofthis thesis is to suggest a mostly optimized training plan for milítary limb instructors with a view to the progressive rise ofthen efficiency on the basis of approachable literature study and interview with limb instructors. Method This diploma thesis is a pilot study using inquiry. It arose in conjunctions with milítary instructors and limb trainers. Military limb instructors, military limb head instructors (person granting instructors license) and air rescuers, both from Army ofthe Czech Republic and Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic, and also head limb instructors from Fire Rescue Brigade ofthe Czech Republic were required to participate. The informants were selected in accordance with their qualification. Keywords Military limb, special hodily preparation, condition, persistence, strength, stress.

Design a AHU unit with respect to the heat recovery system
Otava, Jiří ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on problems of heat exchangers. There are two main objectives. The first objective is based on long-term measuring of enthalpy heat exchanger, processing of measured data and comparison of result with manufacturer's results. The second objective is design of variant solutions for two types of heat exchanger of air conditioning unit of selected shop. For variant without moisture transportation was selected cross flow exchangers. Thanks to knowledge from long-term measurement, was selected enthalpy heat exchanger for variant with moisture transportation. Chosen variants were compared with emphasis on heat and moisture exchange efficiency with requirements on Ecodesign.

Microclimate study rooms with natural ventilation
Hajn, Daniel ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
Master thesis solves the level of CO2 concentration in the premises of universities in Brno. The main objectives of the processed data measured from two monitored rooms, compare it with the permissible limits of concentration, evaluate the effectiveness of natural ventilation and develop a more efficient way to exchange air with forced venti-lation. Space solutions are part of the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University, the fourth above-ground floors of buildings A and B1. The theoretical part deals with CO2 concentrations, measurement methods, the influence of CO2 on the organism and the assessment of daylight.
