Nesting behaviour and alternative reproductive tactics in solitary bees (Hymenoptera: Apoidea)
Rezková, Kateřina ; Straka, Jakub (advisor) ; Konvička, Martin (referee)
Proposed thesis describes nesting behaviour of gregarious solitary bee species Andrena vaga. The knowledge of behaviour in solitary bees can be very important, because solitarity might represent the initial point in the evolution of eusociality and obligate cleptoparasitism. A population of the studied species was observed continuously for two nesting seasons, which enabled me to describe basic demographic characteristics of studied species such as lenght of bee season, longevity, density of population, number of nests per female life, etc. All the observed behavioural patterns were described in ethogram and their exact position in provisioning cycle was determined. This information helped me to compile average daily activity of studied species. I found out major differences in bee behaviour in both years and between nonparasitized and stylopized (parasitized by Stylops) bees. I proved the existence of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in form of usurpations. Because it is crucial to link female to the provisioned cell for the detection of intraspecific cuckoo-like behaviour, I tested two new methods of underground cell marking - protein marking and fluorescent dye marking. Nesting biology and alternative reproductive strategies in bees of the genus Anthophora (Hymenoptera)
Macháčková, Lenka ; Straka, Jakub (advisor) ; Tropek, Robert (referee)
My thesis is focused on the nesting behaviour and reproductive strategies of solitary bee Anthophora plumipes, which nests in colonies and builds the nests in the ground. During behavioral observation in seasons 2009 and 2010 the basic demographic characteristics of studied species were described and all the observed behavioral patterns were described in ethogram. Existence of intraspecific cleptoparasitism in form of usurpations was proved. From field usurpations were 22-33 % assessed as a real usurpations and 66-67 % were cases of use of an empty nests. Number of usurpation was constant throughout the season. There was increase in cases of use of empty nests at the end of the season. The underground nests were marked by lanthanides. This way the interactions between females could bee observed. In this way the intraspecific cleptoparasitism could be found out. 25-32 % samples were positive from 152 samples, that were measured on ICP. It suggests relatively low effectivity of marking. The mark losses reach up to 42 % during processing.

Problém chybějících dat při sčítání lidu - kteří respondenti neodpověděli
Hora, Jan
The confidentiality of census data is known to be rather restrictive for economic and social research. To improve the availability of census information we have proposed recently a new method of interactive presentation of census results by means of statistical models. The method is based on estimation of the joint probability distribution of data records in the form of a distribution mixture. The estimated mixture model can be used as a knowledge base of a probabilistic expert system and in this way we can derive the statistical information from the distribution mixture without any further access to the original database. The statistical model does not contain the original data and therefore the final interactive software product can be made freely available via internet without any confidentiality concerns.

Studie návrhu úpravy dolního úseku toku Kyjovky
Bábíčková, Michaela
The study is interested in evaluation of bottom part of river Kyjovka and a new proposal into the selected part. The river Kyjovka was originally natural meadering flow, what has passed by the huge complex of water modification in the 20th century, that has changed water mode and straighten flow without any meanders. The thesis has a few parts. The firts one is about basic characteristic of territory and an influence of water modification into selected territory. Next one is based on own research and proposing of the new modification of flow from rkm 14,118 -- rkm 14,527. Final results were processed to the tables, maps and picture. Drawing picture were made by special computer programes: Atlas DMT 6, ArcMap 10.1 and Autocad 2012.

Tourism product in tourism infocentre Jihlava
PŮŽOVÁ, Lucie
The scope of my work was to analyze the current tourist trade products in the tourist information centre and to carry out a research of demand and supply of the products of the tourist information centre. It was necessary to elaborate a situation analysis and an analysis of the tourist informational centre. In the situation analysis, it was important to elicit the position of the Vysočina Region and the city of Jihlava in the tourist trade, the visitor attractions and others. Another analysis was the Boston Matrix that demonstrates the product growth rate and the demand after the tourist information centre products. From the Boston Matrix, the importance of particular products and their current market situation was detected. For a wider obtaining of information about the tourist information centre, the SWOT Analysis was elaborated. From the SWOT Analysis, there result the inner (strong and weak points) and outer factors (opportunities and jeopardies) that influence the information centre. From the marketing research that was realized in the form of a questionnaire inquiry and was aimed at obtaining the information about tourists{\crq} satisfaction with the tourist information centre and with Jihlava, I learned that the most sought-after services of the tourist information centre was the sale of admission tickets and information about the town and its sights. The main aim of this dissertation was a proposition of some new types of products the visitors of Jihlava call for, which resulted from all the carried out analyses. The most importat part of the work was the questionnaire inquiry. The new products I proposed are a cycle track through the surroundings of Jihlava and a cyclemap.

Social Services for Seniors - the Comparison of Supplies between Havířov and České Budějovice
LUKESZOVÁ, Renáta
The name of my bachelor{\crq}s work is Social Services for Seniors {--} the Comparison of Supplies between Havířov and České Budějovice. I have chosen this topic because of the fact that our population grow old and the number of people older than 60 years is increasing. Seniors are not often able to take care about themselves due to their age or impaired health state. Occurrence of social services are benefit, they can ensure necessary care about seniors. The aim of my bachelor{\crq}s work was comparison of social services for seniors in České Budějovice and Havířov. By hypothesis I supposed that supply of social services for seniors are in both areas similar. For research I selected two basic methods and techniques of collection of dates {--} method of questioning (technique of dialogue with providers of services) and method of analysis of documents (content analysis of documents informing about provided service - leaflets, internet sites). As a main technique of research I selected controlled dialogue with providers of services. During dialogue I asked 10 invariable questions. I wrote down obtained dates to table for gaining better lucidity about provided services (see supplements). Technique of content analysis of documents informing about provided service (leaflets, internet sites) I chose like additional because I did not gained a lot of this documents (result of changes related with implementation of new act number 108/2006 Collection of Law, about Social Services). I compared gained information about services according to a form of service (ambulatory, field, stay) and according to number of providers of each service (stay services {--} retirements homes, centres of day services, homes with domiciliary services, consulting rooms, facility with activity for handicapped persons, domiciliary and nursing services, leisure time activities and organizations established on volunteer base) in both cities through the use of tables and graphs. From these tables emerge that supply of socials services for seniors in cities České Budějovice and Havířov are very similar. Difference is only in the number of providers of these services. Less providers of each service are in Havířov. Research was done to date 13.4.2007.

Social and building aspects of gentrification in inner city of České Budějovice
PECHOVÁ, Magdaléna
This thesis focuses on the issue of gentrification, and the associated revitalization of buildings. The introductory chapters characterize the process of gentrification / revitalization as such and deal with selected residential areas of the inner city of České Budějovice. The social aspects of gentrification have been investigated recently in the study area and the results of these analyses were used in this work. A field surfy of the revitalization of buildings associated with gentrification was carried out using pre-criterial characteristics evaluating particularly the outercasing of buildings and thein external equipment, as well as follow-up front and rearbuilding environment. The values of the determined criterial characteristics revitalization of the buildings were entered into tables, analyzed and synthesized in the types of revitalization and subsequently entered into maps. In particular form, nature, scope and diversity of the revitalization of buildings in seven areas of the inner city of České Budějovice have been assesed. The observed revitalization was then compared with the previously analyzed gentrification.

The Awareness of Hepatitis B, C, D and Possible Ways of its Transmission at Intravenous Drug Users in Pardubice Region
TICHÁ, Žaneta
This thesis deals with the knowledge regarding viral hepatitis B, C and D considering intravenous drug application. Viral hepatitides represent one of big medical problems around the world. Hepatitis B, C and D belong among the most serious infectious diseases blood and sexually transmitted. However, these are not the only possible ways of transmission. At viral hepatitides there exists a risk of infection not always due to their own fault. We are all exposed to this risk and therefore it is important to inform and raise awareness about viral hepatitides not only among intravenous drug users but also general population. All over the world 2 billion of people are estimated to suffer viral hepatitis B, over 180 million hepatitis C and the number of people infected with viral hepatitis D is estimated for 15 million. Viral hepatitides can cause acute illness as well as we must take into account asymptomatic form of this disease. The infected itself does not have to know about his/her disease for a long time, therefore all the stated numbers are estimations. The theoretical part deals with actual situation ? in the first part there is defined the term intravenous drug user and there are listed the most important risks of this way of drug application. Next part is divided into five subchapters. In the first three subchapters I deal with viral hepatitides B, C and D. These subchapters describe an occurrence, source of infection, ways of transmission and symptoms of individual diseases. The second last subchapter describes prevention of viral hepatitides and the last one presents a treatment of viral hepatitides. Practical part includes a research. The research sample created intravenous drug users attending Kontaktní centrum Laxus o. s. (Contact Centre) in Pardubice and a field program in the Pardubice region. For this research I chose the method of questioning, the questionnaire technique. The result data were processed and consequently entered into graphs and tables. The results were assessed and compared to an available literature within a discussion. There were defined two targets and six hypotheses within the research.
