Phosphorus sorption on photochemically induced particles

This Bachelor thesis studies sorption of phosphorus on photochemically induced particulate matter. Theory part is about the forms of phosphorus and organic matter in water and summaries coprecipitation of phosphorus and organic matter. Experiments deal with the formation of particulate matter and its composition with regards to initial concentration of aluminium and iron. The sorption of radioactive 33P on newly formed particles is tested.

TITTLE: Alcohol addiction and it's therapy- protecting and debilitating factors SUMMARY: Alcohol is the most wide-spread socially tolerable drugs in our society. The reasons why the amount of addicted people is still increasing could be almost anything. A fact is that specialized care in the case of alcohol addiction is more and more searched by women and even teengers. The goal of this project is to choose concrete factors, which lead man to extent of addiction and also those factors that support man durring a therapy. Protecting factors during therapy are presented in the connection with "meaning of life" according to the psychotherapeutic approach logotherapy. The main theme of this project is "Alcohol addiction and it's therapy- protecting and debilitating factors". This project is divided to theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical framework consist of problems of alcohol addiction, primary protecting and debilitating factors in addiction and therapy according to the literature and Viktor Emil Frankl's logotherapy with special emphasis to the "meaning of life". Quality of life of persons with mental disabilities from the perspective of their parents, depanding of the supply of social services in Pardubice

SUMMARY: In my diploma work deals with evaluating the quality of life of persons with intellectual disabilities by their parents. The work used quantitative educational research, specifically survey. The first section summarizes selected theoretical background on the issue of mental disability and quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities. In the second part of my thesis is described by the research, which was investigated methods, what strategies were used and research items have been collected. The results obtained are summarized in the final part. The aim of this thesis was to explore whether a range of social services in Pardubice significant indicator of quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities from the perspective of their parents. The results show that it is not.

The goal of this work is point out the importance of education of future teachers in the area of drugs and drug addictions. General information about drug: overview of drugs, influence descriptions, drug abuse, drug addictions and system of prevention and care in the Czech Republic are introduced in the theoretical part of this work. Knowledge and attitude to drug problems of the students of the Fakulty of Education was investigated by the questionnare. Result of investigation, summary and some topic to consideration are presented in the consultions.

Analysis of transport noise device on the transport environment.

This thesis contains the noise analysis of transport vehicles as cars, trucks, cargo sets, busses and motorcycles in relation of the kind of the transport environment, but also on the character of the transport routes. There are very important factors here and namely the kind of passing vehicles, the number of passing vehicles, the speed of the vehicles, weather conditions, road surface and road condition. Following to this analysis there is a summary of the results detected, which is mainly focused on the level of noise emissions in the individual measuring places. Afterwards, there are suggested ways of appropriate noise reduction. The object of this work is the pointing out potential excessive noise suggesting some possibilities of its removal at the measured places.

Flow cytometry used in study of man`s infertility.

Background: Currently infertility of couples is a major problem, whereas the share of man and woman in infertility disorder is alike. It is important to discover the cause of infertility as soon as possible. The diagnostic possibilities of male infertility detection include the examination of sperm by flow cytometry and microscopic examination of semen. Aims: The aim of our work is to draw up an overview of the possible causes of male infertility and a summary of possible examination of semen using flow cytometry. Next aim is to evaluate the data measured by flow cytometry obtained from men over the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the Institute of Clinical Immunology and Allergology University Hospital Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, and determine interdependencies between the measured sperm parameters. Further, the work deals with the methodology optimization in examination of semen using flow cytometry. Methods: Determination of sperm parameters (sperm count and leukocyte count, sperm vitality, acrosom status and presence of intra-acrosomal protein) was performed using flow cytometer Cytomics FC 500 with CXP analytic software. / SUMMARY The doctoral thesis discusses thecamoebians assemblages coming from five glacial lakes in the National Park Šumavaand from the Lipno Reservoir in the Southern Bohemia (the Czech Rep.). The research analyzes parameters of various assemblages commensurate with environmental characteristics. The aim of this research is to find relations useful in paleoecology. Thecamoebians are freshwater microorganisms with amoeboid cell and simple organic or anorganic test. Species with anorganic tests have been examined because of their better possibilities to fossilize. This taxon may prove to be a key taxon for monitoring environmental change during 21't century So it is expected that it could bear useful information about freshwater benthic paleoenvironment as well. Forty-six surface samples from the bottom of five glacial lakes in the ŠumavaMts., Czech Republic. collected in2002 were investigated and twelve species of thecamoebians with anorganic wall were identified in total. 96 oÁ samples contain the species Difflugia globulus. Other common species are Difflugia oblonga and Centropyxis orbicularis. Influence of occupation at head of household on housing standard

The aim of the bachelor paper is to explore in more detail the interdependence between the occupation of the head of household as the main gainful activity, and the housing standard in Slovak families in the years 2005 and 2006. In the practical part we compare the housing costs, total household income and the gross monthly salary of the person bearing the housing expenses, with the particular selected variables. The closing part of the paper contains a verbal summary of the observed patterns of interdependence which have been identified by selected statistical methods and graphs.
