My diploma thesis deals with the issue of data mining and its use in the commercial sphere. The aim of my work was first to assemble knowledge from data mining and then use it on particular data. In the first part I gather the theoretical information about data mining. I focused on definition, methods of data mining, algorithms and of course on the most frequent usage. The second part consists of the practical application of acquired knowledge on real-world date from mobile telecommunications.

Application of information technologies at primary school. Proposal, verification and evaluation of a teachware for English lessons.

This thesis deals with the problems of applying information technologies at primary school. The first theoretical part of the thesis presents important terminology such as information technology, educational software, etc. and considers the pros and cons of using computers in lessons. It also identifies the role of the teacher in computer education and further classifies and evaluates teachware. The second practical part consists of a survey and a project. The aim of the survey was to find out how frequently teachware is used in English lessons at Czech primary schools. The data for the survey were collected at five primary schools in the Tábor region. The aim of the project was to create, verify and evaluate an English language teachware suitable for English lessons at primary school.

Android aplikace pro efektivní plánování fotbalových tréninků

By questionnaire survey are the preferences of the potential users determined. Based on this research is the bachelor's work, which is aimed on creating an android application, written. The main objective of the application is to enable efficient planning of events for football team. The application is working properly only with available internet connection. The goal is to get data from database server or send them to the server. These data are transferred to the application and displayed to the user.

The aim of bachelor thesis "Inventory management of Fruko {--} Schulz Ltd. company" was to analyze the status and movement of supplies and suggest measures to reduce capital tied up in inventory and increase supply serivces. ABC method was applied and allowed to identify the critical factors in inventory management, and especially poor distribution of products in stock and inadequate equipment storage. Three options were proposed solution, which includes an optimal distribution of products from the ABC analysis, change of equipment storage, or the application of optimization software.

Vylešpení modelu dynamického rozhodování pomocí metody "Iteration spread in time"

In the present work we study the problem of ¯nding the best de- cision based on our previous experience with the system. To solve this task, we use the dynamic programming and its approximations. In the work we summarize the theory needed for usage of the dynamic programming and we deal with its application on futures dealing trying to ¯nd best strategy, id est a sequence of decisions, maximizing our gain or minimizing the loss function. We introduce notion "Bellman function", explain why the approximation of this function is needed, demonstrate one of already tested approximation methods together with its results and we try to propose a method that would lead to the best approximation in suitable time and with available computation aids.

Methods of Controlling Perennial Weeds on Arable Land

Perennial weeds are characterized by the ability to resist or adept to the used regulation measures from measures done on a stubble field after a harvest to the use of herbicides before a harvest. As both the character of the plants and the used agrotechnical measures influence the occurrence of weeds significantly, the issue of occurrence of weeds on arable land remains crucial. This Bachelor thesis is focused on the occurrence and harmful effects of chosen perennial weeds, i.e. Couch grass, Creeping Thistle and Broad leaved dock, in a chosen area. The above named weeds, their occurrence in spring barley variety Bojos and the effect of herbicides on the weeds were studied by means of an experiment in a chosen small area of land. The aim of the thesis is to summarize and broaden knowledge about the utilization of different methods of regulation of perennial weeds on arable land and to provide recommendation on measures and methods to be used in agriculture.

Porovnání Java frameworků pro vytváření webových stránek

Cílem práce je zobrazit vývoj webových aplikací na platformě Java, představit javovské webové frameworky Struts, WebWork, Velocity a Tapestry, vytvořit metodiku pro porovnání těchto frameworků a porovnat je podle metodiky tak, aby si čtenář mohl zvolit framework, který bude jeho aplikaci nejlépe vyhovovat. První část, která končí kapitolou číslo tři, popisuje vývoj webových aplikací od počátku až k javovským webovým frameworkům a představí zkoumané frameworky. Pro konkrétní představu jsou zde popsány programy naprogramované ve všech frameworcích. Ve druhé části je vytvořena metodika a frameworky jsou podle ní porovnány. Na závěr jsou shrnuta pozitiva i negativa daných frameworků.

Testování vybraných grafických aplikací podporujících trasování

Cílem práce je porovnat vybraný grafický software vhodný pro trasování bitmapových předloh. K porovnání vybraného softwaru je použito vícekriteriální rozhodování na základě vícestupňového hodnocení vlastností programů umožňujícího dodatečně měnit důležitost jednotlivých kategorií vlastností dle preferencí konkrétního uživatele. Za účelem porovnání trasovacích schopností programů je dále nadefinována zkušební grafika skládající se z deseti vzorových předloh určených k trasování.

Utilization of internet in the marketing strategy of HVB Bank Czech Republic a.s.

Cílem této práce je zhodnotit dosavadní strategii HVB Bank v internetovém marketingu, navrhnout začlenění internetu jako média do marketingového mixu firmy a nastínit možná zlepšení v této oblasti pro HVB Bank. V první části položím teoretický základ obsahu své práce, a proto představím sít Internet jako nástroj marketingové strategie. Významná část práce bude věnována marketingovému mixu se specifickým zaměřením na internet. V druhé části své práce se již budu věnovat konkrétní aplikaci nástrojů internetového marketingu v HVB Bank.

This work deals with presentation and work with the measurement values. The main objective of this work was to design an imaging system for PC (Windows or Mac), which will display the measured values in real time. The created application allows you to design your own charts in spreading.
