Seismic Loading of Jeroným Mine during Swarm in Kraslice Region in 2008
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Lednická, Markéta ; Knejzlík, Jaromír
Seismic loading of underground spaces of Jeroným Mine in 2008 was very low up to October 6, 2008. From this date, significant loading occurred because very intensive seismic swarm started in Kraslice region (about 25 km from mine). Induced vibrations did not evoke visible damages in underground spaces. In sum 451 earthquakes from Kraslice region were recorded in seismic station named JER1 within Oct. 6 – Dec. 10, 2008. The most intensive shock occurred in Oct. 14 (21:00); maximum value of component velocity reached 0.435 mm.s-1.

Novodobá historie Dolu Jeroným - zajištění Dolu Jeroným v datech
Kukutsch, Radovan ; Bernard, J. ; Žůrek, P. ; Kořínek, R. ; Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Lednická, Markéta
Modern history of Jeroným Mine is no longer so obvious, moreover at a time when the number of activities carried out in the Jeroným Mine has the growing character. Effort of author's team is documenting these activities from the moment, when was Mine Jeroným rediscovered and secured by the help of former Rudné doly Příbram. Contribution maps fundamental activities of each year - securing the mine, hereditary adit coping, the reconstruction of blind shaft Jeroným etc., but also clearly demonstrates the activities carried out by VŠB-TU Ostrava and the Institute of Geonics AS CR, v.v.i. within each grant and scientific tasks.

Povrchové útvary na lokalitě Čistá, Důl Jeroným po ukončení báňské činnosti
Kukutsch, Radovan ; Stolárik, Martin
This contribution aims to draw attention and expand awareness of surface formations at the locality Čistá, deals with the beginning, characteristics and categorization of these surface formations. The main theme are subsidence appearances - througs, which may be in the context of the stability of the historic mining works Jeroným a possible negative factor significantly affecting the stability of certain parts of this work.

Evaluation of stability and stress-strain conditions of K2 chamber in Jeroným Mine
Hrubešová, E. ; Kořínek, R. ; Lednická, Markéta
This paper deals with mathematical modelling of stability and stress-strain conditions in medieval mine workings named Jeroným (near Čistá, Sokolov District). Two main topics are discussed: current state and prediction of situation during planned building operations for reconstruction of some parts. Paper presents basic conditions and presumptions of models, characteristics of partial results. Analyses of first results from modeling of mine room named K2 (transverse cross sections) using Plaxis programming system are presented.

New sensors of distributed control system in medieval Jeroným Mine in Čistá
Kaláb, Zdeněk ; Knejzlík, Jaromír
Addition of instrumentations of distributed control and measurement network for geomechanical measurement is performed subsequently. Measurement of crack development in the mine working, development in changes in convergence cross-sections of linear workings and fluctuations of water levels in underground spaces was initial parts of this network. At present, measurement of convergence in chamber (spatial working) using laser distance meter, measurements of changes of tensor stress state of rock mass and measurements of temperature of mine atmosphere completed the network.

Problematics abandoned and old mining works in relation to possibilities of stability solution on Jeroným mine example
Kukutsch, Radovan
This paper appears from dissertation work themed „Problems of selected technical and economical aspects of mines technical liquidation in ore and coal mining conditions". Arcticle deals with aspects of old and abandoned mining works, which in the long term represent a controversial issue of mines technical liquidation process. The Jeronym Mine was selected as a sample locality of old and abandoned mine, on which the author presents and interprets the survey approaches and discusses the future and problems related to accesing of this unique mining work.
