Machová, Daniela ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
64 RESUMÉ THE INTERNET AND PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW This thesis focuses on the connection of the Internet and Private International Law. Its aim is to make it easier to find a way in both old and new legal regulations concerned with this area of law and consider the possibilities of current legislation, and its use for the Internet relations. For better orientation and understanding the topic, I am starting with the outline of the Internet as a unique communication device, which thanks to its special features such as borders ignoring, and instant actions and reactions, enables to engage in relationships - not only business ones - all around the world. These interactions are seen as relationships of private law with a cross-border element. After the introduction of the most important terms, the basics of Private International Law follow along with an extract from its sources, which influence the Internet territory. I would like to point out the significance of international and European level of regulation. The EU-law especially ensures through the harmonization of basic structures of the IT-law that the object statutes of the Member States are almost identical. This increases the legal certainty significantly and therefore helps the evolution of new e- relationships and the whole discipline. The Community...

International Context of the Mediterranean Union Project
Vincentová, Romana ; Eichler, Jan (advisor) ; Dubský, Zbyněk (referee)
This work focuses on the Mediterranean Union project proposed by Nicolas Sarkozy during the French presidential campaign in 2007. It represents a comprehensive portrayal of the Mediterranean region which has been due to its unique characteristics the center of attention of various international parties involved. These have been trying to take advantage of the Mediterranean Sea potential namely since the end of the 20th century and, at the same time, to introduce stability by means of various integration groups and further projects of cooperation. The Barcelona Process was the most complex partnership project within the Mediterranean territory which was launched by the European Union in 1995. The Barcelona Process or the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership nevertheless has not brought any significant achievements, with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict being considered the greatest impediment to its success. The work stresses the significance of the new project of the Mediterranean Union, which should learn a lesson from all the previous and, in many aspects unsuccessful, integration efforts and try to find a different way which would lead to achieving stability and cooperation of the countries within the region. In 2008, the Union for the Mediterranean developed from the Mediterranean Union project, which should reassume within the most possible extent the Barcelona Process. At the same time, the new integration approach should not consist of setting general goals but of formulating specific goals and their gradual implementation, which could lead to the unity of the region in the end. Complex political issues, however, still pose the major threat today.

Gambling industry in CR - history, legislature, internet gambling
Znamenáček, Jiří ; Ježek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Chalupníček, Pavel (referee)
Gambling is very controversial theme. There are many reasons, why this business is so controversial, for example : huge amount of money, chance for money laundering, chance for winning money. Gambling is wagering money on an event with an uncertain outcome with the primary intent of winning additional money. Purpose of my diploma work is a comparison situation of gamling industry in Czech republic and in the rest of the world. My diploma work has many parts. In the first one I describe the history of regulation in the United States and then I show economic dates from presents: casino locations by category, casinos per state, commercial casino tax revenue by state and national commercial casino revenue. Next I explain a special american category of casino and it is tribal casino and than I show tribal gaming revenues by region. In the next part I describe the history of gambling in the Czechoslovakia and contemporary situation in Czech republic, especially the situation in internet gambling. Internet gambling is the transformation of casino games of chance and skill to the internet. In the Czech republic is an unsatisfactory legal regualtions, because there is a obsolete rule. Therefore domestic operators can not obtain a licence for offering online gambling services to Czech residents, whereas foreign operators offers these services, but illegal. Therefore is necessary to create a new rule, which will be able to change this unsatisfactory situation. In the next part I write about three big cases, which are important for situation in european gambling industry. European commission and European court of justice have both a big influence and I describe, what they do for better situation in european gambling, because some states ( for example Germany ) prohibit internet gambling on their own territory, but this is problem, because this rule is in discrepancy with law of European union. In Czech republic is internet gambling for foreign company prohibited too and I explain, what is the reason for this situation. This diploma work contains my own research, how works telephone and internet gambling.

Subsidy importance in rural development (Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor)
Koláříková, Markéta ; Kocmánková Menšíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The main goal of the study was to find out and compare the significance of the received subsidies in the development of Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor villages. My work in the first place dealt with subsidies as an important part of a village income and as a tool for their development. The theoretical part is based on the study of special literature and other relevant sources relating to the examined issues. Attention is given to regional development, within which the two programming periods (2007 2013 and 2014 2020) are compared and also the financing of villages. The knowledge gained in the theoretical part are followed by secondary data analysis, in which it was found that the received subsidies hold an important position in the structure of Chanovice and Pačejov village incomes in the two other villages that position is not so important. Thanks to received subsidies in the period 2007 2013 the villages implemented a lot of developing projects, either infrastructural (most Pačejov village) or other (especially Chanovice village) character. In the framework of the infrastructure based projects all municipalities used the subsidies to build and repaire their water and transport infrastructures. Another field where the municipalities aimed the subsidies was field of education. Based on semi-structured interviews with mayors of selected villages the empirical part of my work was worked out afterward. The mayors share the opinion that the village development especially the development connected with infrastructure, the subsidies are necessary, but the way to obtain them is very difficult and costly for the small villages

A Creative Project as the Way to Work with Children with Specific Needs
Metodika: K dosažení cíle své práce využívám kvantitativního výzkumu prostřednictvím pozorování, dotazování, anketou a rozborem dostupné literatury.

Isolation and purification of nucleic acids using magnetised micro- and nanoparticles
Dostálová, Simona ; Adam, Vojtěch (referee) ; Kizek, René (advisor)
Nucleic acids are a completely unique component of every organism. They determine the appearance, behaviour or disposition to a certain disease. Despite their importance, there is still a lot of information unknown. In order to study the nucleic acids, they need to be purified from other components of the organism. The routine methods of isolation and purification are often laborious and time consuming; therefore experiments with magnetic separation are carried out. This thesis deals with magnetic micro- and nanoparticles and their application in this field. General conditions of this isolation are summarized in the thesis. Detection methods of nucleic acids are listed, focusing on electrochemical methods. A procedure for isolation and purification of nucleic acids using magnetic particles and square-wave voltammetry is described. This procedure was modified in experimental part of the thesis to achieve the maximum yield. Partial steps including washing, immobilization and elution were optimized. Results showed that the phosphate buffer was optimal for washing of beads before immobilization of nucleic acids on their surface. The optimal immobilization was carried out for 5 minutes at 20 °C and microtube needed to be firmly shaken during the process. Immobilization solution composed of 0.1M Na2HPO4 + 0.1M NaH2PO4, 0.6M guanidinium thiocyanate, 0.15M Trizma base adjusted by HCl on pH 7.5 and 2.5M CsCl. 5M NaCl was optimal for washing of the complex “beads-nucleic acid” after the immobilization. Elution was carried out for 15 minutes at 99 °C and the highest yield was obtained using elution solution composed of Tris-EDTA pH at 9.1
