The Possibilities of financing of Czech intermediate schools from EU structural founds
KAINZ, Aleš
The thesis is focused on the financing of secondary schools and especially on the possibility of utilization of money from EU funds in the programming periods 2007 2020, with a special consideration the experiences of the period 2007 - 2013. The topic of funding and support for education in the last decade is an extremely discussed theme at all levels of political and social life. Following to a discussion about the importance of secondary education and its downgrade after 1989, the theme of financing has been one of the most important. The basis of this study is to evaluate the Operational Programme "Education for Competitiveness", especially the previous programming period 2007 - 2013 based on projects and experiences of directors from selected schools in České Budějovice, based on a literature search of books and information resources. Partial aim is to identify their expectations and possible first experience with the Operational Programme "Research, Development and Education" of the current programming period, based on a comparison of successful projects. Simultaneously, through the analysis of a questionnaire survey to answer questions the possibility of financing secondary schools in the South Region. In the final part of thesis are summarized the results gained from the questionnaires and a confirmation or a negation of the research assumptions, as assumed at the beginning. At the end of thesis is drawn out author´s own view of problem and his understanding of the developed problematic, the human - now with a partially knowledgeable of issue, but mostly no specialist and his personal view of the problem of school financing.
Presentation Software for Physics on Elementary Schools
Matoušek, Miroslav ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
This final thesis deals with the software supporting the education through the presenting the physical process. Specifically, it deals with the kinematics on the level of the basic school and secondary school. Next there are described the basics of pedagogy, didactics, simulation and modelling referring to the suggested programme. There is also a suggested system and its graphic user interface based on the gained findings which is later implemented.
Educational Game of Motivation on the Android Platform
Kučera, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the dissertation is to create a prototype of an educational game which should help students with the choice of future their studies. To this end, the game introduces the topic of logic systems in a non-threating interactive way with clear illustrative examples. The theoretical part of the work deals with the background knowledge necessary in order to design the game. It explains logic systems, gates, flip-flop circuits, and explores various aspects of game genres with primary focus on puzzle games and their history. In addition, the dissertation presents some of the issues related to cross-platform development of games for both mobile and computer platforms, and provides brief descriptions of several popular cross-platform libraries. Lastly, the work introduces and compares several chosen applications created as a supplementary material for teaching logic system.
Software support of education in classical cryptoanalysis
Fojtová, Lucie ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
Number of today's modern cipher systems are based on the classical symmetric cipher systems, such as the transposition principle in the DES cipher. Successful analysis and deciphering of these ciphers is therefore underlined by solid knowledge of the elementary cryptanalysis methods. This implies the importance of classical cryptanalysis education -- for better a understanding of the field, using visual means is of utmost importance. The aim of the thesis is to summarize selected cipher methods of the classical cryptanalysis, namely the mono-- and polyalphabetical substitution and transposition route cipher. Along with the theoretical part, ciphering/deciphering software is introduced to be used for educational purposes, particularly a website and a standalone application providing tools for ciphering, analysis and code breaking of the classical cipher based code.
Software support of education in cryptography based on integer factorization
Vychodil, Petr ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with new teaching software, which supports asymmetric encryption algorithms based on the issue of large numbers´ factorization. A model program was created. It allows to carry out operations related to encryption and decryption with an interactive control. There is a simple way to understand the principle of the RSA encryption method with its help. The encryption of algorithms is generally analysed in chapters 1,2. Chapters 3 and 4 deals with RSA encryption algorithm in much more details, and it also describes the principles of the acquisition, management and usage of encryption keys. Chapters 5 suggest choosing of appropriate technologies for the creation of the final software product, which allow an appropriate way to present the characteristics of the extended RSA encryption algorithm. The final software product is the java applet. Aplet is described in the chaprers 6 and 7. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part presents general information about the RSA encryption algorithm. The practical part allows the users of the program to have a try at tasks connected with the RSA algorthm in their own computers. The last part of Java applet deals with the users´ work results. The information obtained by the user in the various sections of the program are satisfactory enough to understand the principle of this algorithm´s operations.
Software support for cryptography education
Stančík, Peter ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis was to study, choose and decribe techniques eligible for cryptography education. A pedagogically appropriate presentation for the selected techniques' principles was to be chosen. Another goal was to create an integrated modular web interface containing a calculator focused on cryptographic operations. The eligibility of techniques was assessed accordingly to the computing processes implied by these techniques and also accordingly to the ability of being presented in an illustrative way. A program simplifying calculations used in symetric and asymetric cryptography was designed and implemented. It disposes of a web interface and one of its parts is focused on steganographic techniques. On the other hand, any pedagogically appropriate presentation interconnecting this program with theoretical findings from this field was not found.
Suggestion and creation of video tutorials for facilitation of education of informatics
Haberzettl, David ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Pražský, Petr (referee)
The goal of this thesis is analysis of requirements for creating video tutorials and suggesting methodics for its creation to facilitate the teaching of informatics at the University of economics, Prague. The major purpose introduces the formation of unified methodics for creation video tutorials which fulfill teching requirements on the faculty of information technologies. Thesis is focused to analyse and test available software solutions enabling creation of video tutorials and screencasting. Theoretical part contains introduction to e-learning and sumarization of available software solutions, their advantages and disadvantages and further choice of ideal software solution for established unified methodical work.
Use discussion groups to support education at universities
Rumplíková, Blanka ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
Focusing the thesis, the issue related to web 2.0 education at universities. The term web 2.0 is defined in the first part of the thesis. There are given its characteristics and an overview of the most used tools. Specifically, the topic of this thesis is one of the tools of web 2.0, which are discussion groups and their influence on support education. Discussion groups are generally characterized in the second part, which are created criteria for comparison and evaluation. The third part is devoted to four selected school discussion forums, which are described on the basis of previously established criteria and evaluated from different perspectives. Another aim of the thesis is view the using of Internet discussion groups by students of universities. It is recognized by the method of answering questionnaire, which is devoted to the last fourth part of this thesis.
Support for teaching of computer courses at the universities of 3rd age
Filippi, Tomáš ; Benáčanová, Helena (advisor) ; Seghmanová, Michaela (referee)
This study deals with teaching computer courses at universities of the third age and the possibilities of support for teaching. First, monitor and compare subjects, aimed at teaching work with the PC for the elderly, which are taught in selected universities. Selection includes Charles University in Prague, Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague University of Economics and University of Mining at the Technical University of Ostrava. This study analyzes the characteristics and differences of teaching courses for seniors, which also compares with the current concepts of teaching common students. The aim of this study is to provide a comparison of available software tools for teaching and learning, based on selected criteria to choose the most appropriate instrument. Describe chosen instrument in detail and create the instructions for produce a teaching tutorial in practical application.
