history Solopysky village of Kutna Hora in the years 1918- 1938

AAbbssttrraakktt This diploma thesis deals with historical development of village Solopysky situated 12 kilometers from Kutná Hora in Central Bohemia. In the paper is reflected interwar period from 1918 to 1938 which brought a lot of turning points. There is described influence of those milestones on local inhabitants (e.g. establishment of first Czechoslovakia republic, Munich Agreement). Administrative area of this thesis is focused on mechanisms of operation, organization, structure, personnel management, power and municipal governments' activities. Attention is paid to the then legislation and its introduction into practice. The author tries to clarify tendencies of the municipal economy including municipal budget and dealing with the municipal property. Cultural area of this thesis is focused on school environment, activities of local associations and on the political activities including municipal elections. There is also mentioned description of daily life and atmosphere of the village according to the memories of the local old resident - Mr. Václav Sova. The aim of this thesis is confrontation of narrative sources with sources of the official provenance. Particularly thematic viewpoint was taken in consideration during writing this paper. Structure Of Organic Farming In Central Bohemia

This bachelor thesis is focused on review structure of production in organic farming of central Bohemia. In teoretic part is described definitiv of organic farming, history and his importance. In the following chapter is mentioned the developement of organic farming in the Czech republic. Further are mentioned the specifics of plant production, animal production and nonproductive functions of organic farming. The practical part of thesis is focused on evaluation of data, which was obtained from database Institute of Agricultural Economics and Informations, Ministry ofAgriculture, survey and from Faculty of Agriculture in University of South Bohemia. In this practical part of thesis is evaluated acreage of individual crops, species and numbers of breedin ganimals and others. Data are collected for central Bohemia and compared whit the whole Czech Republic. From the results ensues that organic farming is the most represented in the Southern Bohemian and Moravian-Silesian Region and in the Carlsbad Region. In the Central Bohemian Region organic farming is represented by only 3, 2 % of the total amount of agricultural soil which is in organic farming mode. The biggest portion of areas in organic farming is occupied by permanent grassland. Their acreage is the largest mainly in mountain and submontane areas. Cereals are definitely the most grown crops. They were grown on 2176, 8 ha in the Central Bohemian Region. As to animal production sheep breeding is prevailing in this area.
Analysis of tour guide services at Konopiště Castle

The thesis deals with Konopiště Castle, one of the most significant monuments in the Czech Republic. It describes its tour operation, looks into the new trends in tour guiding and considers whether these trends could be applied to the operation of the castle. It suggests creating an "open castle tour" and tries to find out whether the visitors of the castle would be interested in such a tour and under what conditions it could be applied to Konopiště.

The Bachelor's thesis concerns Christian pilgrimage tradition in Central Bohemia. It focuses on traditional pilgrimage routes to Hajek and Stara Boleslav. The thesis describes the history of the location and the pilgrimage route as well as the religious tourism in present.
The importance of lookout towers for tourism development in Central Bohemia Region

The central theme of the thesis are look-out towers and their use in tourism. The thesis is divided into four main sections that follow the content itself. The opening chapter deals with the general definition of tourism industry and current trends of traveling in the Czech Republic. The following chapter is focused on a selected region of the Central Bohemia in terms of status and differences in the travel industry. The third part focuses on the historical development, construction of look-out towers and a description of the most famous towers in the Central Bohemia. The attractiveness of 23 selected observation towers and their potential for development and growth of tourism was examined in the practical part of the thesis. The analysis evaluates the observation towers in light of technical parameters, construction, quality of service in the area, information system and promotion. To illustrate the current situation of lookouts in the Czech Republic was connected the opinion of expert for towers Jan Nouza (co-authored a famous paper, "Man, look around"), which is expressed by means of a questionnaire to the specific deficiencies and the importance of towers in the Czech Republic.
Amphibians of the Protected landscape area Blaník

The principal aim of this diploma thesis was the mapping of amphibian species inhabiting the Protected Landscape Area Blaník. The field research was carried out during the years 2005 to 2006. The occurrence of following 8 species and 1 synklepton was confirmed: Smooth Newt (Triturus vulgaris), Warty Newt (Triturus cristatus), Alpine Newt (Triturus alpestris), Fired Bellied Toad (Bombina bombina), Common Spadefood (Pelobates fuscus), Common Toad (Bufo bufo), European Tree Frog (Hyla arborea), Grass Frog (Rana temporaria) and Water Frogs (Rana synklepton esculenta). The determination was performed on the basis of morphologic characters and voice expressions. During the field research suitable reproductive habitats of particular species were studied with respect to numbers of specimens found there. Based on presented results, habitats valuable for protection mere marked. The records of particular species were written into maps of the species occurance.
Burgundy and Central Bohemia - partnership of two EU regions

The bachelor thesis entitled {\clqq}Burgundy and Central Bohemia {--} partnership of two EU regions`` consists of seven chapters. The theoretical part describes briefly the regions of Burgundy and Central Bohemia, the Maison de Bourgogne and the origin of the partnership between these regions. The second part turns to cooperation at the level of microregions and towns and deals with four main areas of the cooperation between the regions - culture, education, economic cooperation and tourist trade. The possibilities of EU subsidies to this cooperation are also described. A summary in French is included.
