Evaluation of the impact of solar power plants on the environment
KRÝCHA, Marek
The number of solar power plants in the Czech Republic increased from 249 in 2009 to 12 861 in 2010. This rapid growth was caused by subsidies such as so called green bonus and high feed-in tariff with 20 years guarantee. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate positives and negatives of this technology with regard to the environment. As a model example, the data from the Bušanovice solar power plant were used for evaluation. The price evolution and affordability of photovoltaic technology was evaluated according to the investment and running costs and profit. Estimation of the situation after 20 years of operation and the amount of reduced CO2 emissions were also included in the evaluation. It has been found that the most used photovoltaic technologies possess ecological risk. Solar power plant has the minimum maintenance demands and does not produce any noise emissions or the dangerous substances. Problem however is in the agriculture land occupation and disruption in the landscape throughput and landscape character. The current legislation also does not solve the problem of ecological liquidation of the solar power plants. It can also be concluded that the photovoltaic technologies are becoming more affordable.
Installation and operation of photovoltaic power plant
MERTLÍKOVÁ, Petra
In my dissertation I describe the photovoltaic power plant on the roof a family house, the conditions of connection to the electricity network, the electricity consumption and I state in detail the technical specifications of this solution. Moreover, I give details of price quotation plus estimated quantity of produced electric power. Besides, I pay attention to the investment efficiency. Main part of the dissertation is devoted to the analysis of produced electric power for the period from 1.1.2010 till 31.12.2010 for each quater of the year seperately. The above mentioned study implies that the photovoltaic power plant meets in so far all requirements and the investment should be returned in approximately 9 years. The aim of the dissertation is to judge the photovoltaic power plant with respect to its installation, operation and return on investment.
Evaluation of business intention
Krčilová, Jana ; Neumaierová, Inka (advisor) ; Tadevosyanová, Luiza (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment in photovoltaic power station. The field of photovoltaic power stations in the Czech Republic has experienced a huge development in the past years and at the same time there have been a lot of changes since 2011, which had a negative impact on business in this field. This thesis deals with evaluating a business plan on the basis of the real data during three years of its operation and it compares it with the assumed results during the lifetime period of photovoltaic power station. This thesis uses some economic indicators for evaluating this investment and they show the efficiency and added value of the project. The evaluation is demonstrated on two possible scenarios. The crucial part of this thesis is the evaluation of the most probable scenario of the modified Bill No. 180/2005 Coll. and the next one is from the former point of view with the 26% withholding tax during the whole lifetime period of the power station. The outcome of this thesis should be a decision of the investor if it is good for him to continue in the project or not.
Simplified Study of Feasibility of a chosen Plan
Janda, Lukáš ; Pirožek, Petr (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jiří (referee)
Work processes simplified feasibility study based on methodology of MRR for photovoltaic project on the roof of a factory hall, where they will consume the electricity produced. The work is processed variability of the development of legislative change, contingent upon conditions (for 2010 Act No. 180/2005 Coll., 2011 an amendment to this Act). Based on the results we can say that the change of these conditions occurs, in particular to extend the return on such investment.
Simplified Study of Feasibility of a chosen Plan
Kubový, Daniel ; Pirožek, Petr (advisor) ; Pevná, Jana (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to create the simplified feasibility study of two versions of photovoltaic power plants and compare them with each other. Point out the advantages, disadvantages and differences of each version. The aim will be to prove or disprove the sustainability of each version throughout their lifetime at current conditions in the Czech Republic. It will also be taken eye on investment efficiency. Option A have to build solar power plants on the roof of the factory holding. Option B have to build photovoltaic power plant on the meadow. Both versions of solar power plants will have the same power. The electrical energy produced from both versions of solar power plants will be consumed in the manufactory. I deal with methodological approaches in the theoretical part of the issue. In practical part I follow these approaches by creating my own simplified feasibility study.
