Verification of effeciency of GAEC II measures on specific catchment using model based on SCS-CN.
HRDINA, Filip
The erosion is one of the biggest problems of today?s agriculture, more precisely of environment. At the time when 50% of the arable soil is threatened by the erosion, initiative of the erosion protection increases at the national and at the Europien level. The aim of this bachelor?s work is to evaluate the effectiveness of erosion controls which were issued within Good agricultural and environmental condition (GAEC 2) by the Europien Union. The ERCN program and HydroCad program are used as the modeling techniques, modeling the impact of the erosion measures in 4 scenarios. The modal area is the subcatchment P6 on the catchment of Kopaninský stream. The issues of the erosion, the erosion standard GAEC 2 and hydrological modeling using methods of CN-Curve Numbers are solved in the literature review.

Power distribution network model
Bradáč, Lubomír ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on PLC technology issues and thus the data transmission over a power-line. This work describes characteristics of the PLC technology, its usage, functional principles and used modulation techniques. The main part of the work describes individual kinds of interferences in the network. The method of necessary steps against these interferences by using the right modulation and relevant coding is also described in the thesis. On the basis of theoretical knowledge, the models of interferences are realized in Matlab/Simulink. The simulative model of power-lines with random parameters is designed and realized for each elected techniques of modulation (BPSK, QPSK, ASK, FSK). The method of PLC channels modeling is chose as a multipath signal spreading for topology with one and two branching and the dependence of their transmission functions are inquired too. The analysis of interference influence on the data transmission is performed via the created models. All acquired results are compared and evaluated in the conclusion of this thesis.

Optimization of method for susceptibility measurement
Jeništa, Petr ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Bartušek, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is measure the specimens placed in field of MR tomograph, the measured data to evaluace the process and measurement errors. The theoretical part is focused on describing basic parameters of magnetic field, commissioning some older methods of measurement and design methods for the measurement of samples not issuing MR signal. There is performed modeling for the proposed Metod and the 1D, 2D and 3D environments using COMSOL Multiphysics. The practical part is the measurements samples in the tomograph the Institute of Scientific Instruments Academy of Science in Brno. The measured data are processed in Marevisi and Matlab programs. The MATLAB program is written for processing, analysis and data evaluation, after which it is possible to determine the value of the magnetic susceptibility of the selected samples. In conclusion of the work is the quantification accuracy of measurements.

Planar mechanisms
HOFFMAN, Jan
This work thesis is dealing with planar mechanisms. It?s concentrated on definition the topic, enumeration methods of mathematical description of mechanisms and occasion of simulation with usage information technology. It?s going mainly on GeoGebra program, in which were created most of schemes and models mechanisms. Created models are recorded on attached CD. Important charter of this theses are mechanisms used to draving planar curves, ending with mechanisms used to drawing straight line.

Digital radiography- image processing simulation
Lamoš, Martin ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Drastich, Aleš (advisor)
This paper describes a MATLAB application with the main purpose of the simulation of noise components and noise elimination methods of Digital Radiography. The main parts of simulator are the model of a scene, procedures for loading the noise components to image data and methods for image processing. Various methods are employed depending on the type of noise. Subtraction techniques are used for the elimination of structural noise. The physical noise suppression is obtained using several methods of cumulation and Pixel Shift is used to reduce motion artifacts caused by the existence of moving noise. The techniques of superposition highlight the areas of interest in an image. Included are also auxiliary procedures for simulator running and presentation of final data. The model and the presented application can be used mainly for educational purposes as a powerful didactic tool.

Modelling of UMTS network resource control
Bednárik, Ján ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Molnár, Karol (advisor)
The main aim of my master thesis was to get acquainted with the implementation of quality-of-service support methods in UMTS 3G mobile network and the evaluation of these methods in a simulation environment with main interest in the characteristic features of the traffic classes. The impact of the QoS methods available on different service types were verified in the OPNET Modeler simulation environment. I examined mainly the potentials of the model to support the required quality parameters for the connections. The models of typical network applications, available in real UMTS networks, together with two examples of mobile networks, operating voice and video services in combination with standard data services, were defined in this simulation environment. My work also contains the detailed description of configuration parameters fundamental for correct behavior of the simulation models. The simulation also shows the case, when the transport service is rejected due to the lack of network resources. The key parameters of the model are also described and their effect on the service quality with and without QoS control are compared in separate scenarios. Finally, I investigated the effect of mobility of the end stations on the communication process, especially on the duration of a file transmission.

Model for the Cable Thermal Characteristic Calculation
Starý, Zdeněk ; Drápela, Jiří (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The result of this assignment is the Model for the Cable Thermal Characteristic Calculation. Firstly, there is a prepared overview that is focused on the essential ideas of cable technology. The following part describes the simple possibilities of passaging the heat. Secondly, the physical essence of warming cables as well as the possibility to discover the methods how to calculate the warming cables are also mentioned in this task. There is an opportunity to find the methods for calculating the warming cables as well. The model was verificationed in the conclusion of my assignment. The measurement was done and the empirical results were compared with the results that were achieved by modeling.

Simulation of the HVS characterstics in Matlab
Ševčík, Martin ; Slanina, Martin (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
In theoretical part Diploma thesis deals with the model of human vision HVS (Human Visual System), which can be used for image quality assessment in TV technique area. It has been described calculations of selected JND (Just Noticeable Difference) metrics, used in evaluation of HVS. In practical part of the thesis it has been suggested and realized simulation model in Matlab, which may be used for evaluation of three JND metrics from color and grayscale images and evaluation in spatial a frequency domain. Results of JND models have been compared to another objective image quality evaluation metrics (MSE, NMSE, SNR and PSNR). For interpretation of dependencies it has been used images with different defined content.

Blaheta, Radim ; Byczanski, Petr ; Jakl, Ondřej ; Kohut, Roman ; Kolcun, Alexej ; Krečmer, Karel ; Starý, Jiří
In many fields of science and engineering, we can see challenging tasks, which require application of mathematical modelling. The physical phenomena are simulated with the aid of the finite element method and this simulation leads to huge computational demands, which are concentrated mainly to the solution of large-scale systems of equations. For such systems, we need high performance iterative solvers.

Plasma-enhanced chemicial vapor deposition
Žák, Luboš ; Salyk, Ota (referee) ; Čech, Vladimír (advisor)
Theoretical part of diploma thesis was focused on the search of the state of knowledge in the area of plasma, plasma polymerization and characterization of thin films. Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) was described in the experimental part together with selected analytical techniques. The technology with high level of reproducibility was reached by precise control of deposition conditions, monitoring of plasma, and analysis of plasma products using mass spectrometry. The obtained results demonstrated that the elemental composition, chemical structure, optical and mechanical properties of films were influenced by effective power used.
