Usability of connectivity metrics as predictors of species distribution
Kučera, Michal ; Šímová, Petra (advisor) ; Krčílková, Šárka (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate whether connectivity indices are usable for bird prediction. The study area contains of the whole country but is divided into separate squares with area of 133 km 2 each, where the presence or absence of the bird species is known. The dependence is tested on landscape connectivity indices presented by prof. S. Saura. The land cover contains of Corine land cover 2012 data. The results will be evaluated with logistic regression approach on sample data including 4 different dispersal distances (500 m, 1 000 m, 2 000 m and 3 000 m) and 10 specific bird species typical for given land cover. The corelation between land cover area presence of the bird is also tested.

Impact of horizontal and vertical pattern of habitats on birds diversity
Schovánková, Hana ; Šímová, Petra (advisor) ; Moudrý, Vítězslav (referee)
This diploma thesis follows up the influence of horizontal and vertical structure of biotopes on biodiversity of bird species of Czech Republic of forest and open sites. Vertical structure model was created from digital model of surface of Czech Republic (1st generation) and digital model of relief of Czech Republic (5th generation). Information about horizontal structure were derived by analyzing aerial imagery. Then single variables were detected from these data. Subsequently, it was analyzed which of these variables and which way influence bird diversity. On both types of sites was found increasing bird diversity with increasing diversity of vertical structure. With increasing horizontal structure, however, bird diversity significantly increased only on open sites. The influence of other characteristics was mostly different on bird diversity of open and forest sites, but, for both types of sites, the positive influence had for example edge density of land cover categories or edge density of height categories. Additional part of this thesis was to explore if vertical characteristics of biotopes could influence prediction of selected bird species. Results was different in forest and open biotopes, nevertheless in both types of sites was found potential use of both horizontal and vertical variables.

Tool to assess the landscape connectivity in different area units and dispersal distances
Chrumko, Adam ; Šímová, Petra (advisor) ; Krčílková, Šárka (referee)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to introduce a basic summary of landscape connectivity calculations mainly focusing on the Conefor program and the effect of input parameters on output landscape connectivity indices. One of the main goals is to create an ArcMap Toolbox to simplify the calculation of landscape connectivity indices for many areas of interest. Basic squares that cover the whole Czech Republic were chosen as main areas of interest. These units are used for example for mapping the abundance of flora and fauna. The same indices were calculated for NUTS3 and LAU1 areas in order to compare effect of size of input areas. This thesis provides a simple solution in the form of a Python Toolbox for Esri ArcMap to calculate overall indices of landscape connectivity through a Conefor command line application for a large number of input areas. Forest connectivity for different dispersal distances and input areas of interest was calculated with this Toolbox. As an input vector layer of forests, CORINE land cover data from mapping period 1990, 2000, 2006 and 2012 were used. Input dispersal distances were chosen in the range from 50 to 50.000 meters in order to comprehensively describe their effects on indices. Resultant forest and connectivity changes are represented by cartograms; the effect of input data on output indices is shown in graphs.

The data were obtained from the Czech republic police, the Czech Statistical Office and Generali Inc. assurance company. The work offers a survey of effects resulting in these collisions, such as season of a year, time of a day, weather etc. As part of the work a questionaire survey was carried out in which I focused especially on the driver´s awareness of the problem and their knowledge of what to do in a critical situation. Accompanying the work is also a suggested preventive feature in the form of a propagation materials.

Provision of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies and the biggest organizations in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic
Jindříšková, Jana ; Doležalová, Jana (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to define conditions for providing the ill with Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. In this way the readers can learn a definition of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, what education and experience therapists who want to implement this practice should have and what requirements should a horse meet to be used in the therapy. In the next part I do research on coverage of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies expenses by insurance companies not only in Czech, but also in Slovak Republic. The research also includes answers to the questions, what criteria should a patient meet to get hippotherapy care covered and what attitude to such care the insurance companies have. Besides problems in relations insurance company, patient and centre of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies, in my thesis I describe the biggest centers of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.

Individual production of caravan
Kollar, Jan ; Lachnit, František (advisor) ; Kotek, Martin (referee)
The topic of this thesis is individual construction of the O1 category caravan on mass produced cargo trailer chasiss. For simplifying administrative processes, the whole construction is done as a rebuild. Thesis is about workflow of construction, legislative requirements and documents that need to be present to all neccesary autorities. In thesis the whole idea of building a caravan is covered. It starts from documentation, then buing of mass produced chasiss is described, the build itself is described and in the end there is information about registering of completed caravan according to czech law 56/2001 Sb. - o podmínkách provozu vozidel na pozemních komunikacích (law about requirements for road driven vehicles). In the thesis the choice of ideal mass produced chasiss is described, materials used for construction are defined and necessary homologated parts needed for legal registration are labeled.

Human impact on creating the landscape
Lainová, Dana ; Janků, Jaroslava (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the differences in landscape structure caused by human influence in nature conservation area Czech paradise. It guide us though period from year 1955 until the present. It take into consideration both the previous and current landscape form, as for land area, landscape character, plant and animal association and abiotic factors. Bachelor work describes particular human influence on forming aspect of this natural heritage. It focuses on forestry and forest cover situation, agriculture and farmland. It does not forget hunting and its related situation of wild animals, fish farming which means purity of water. It will occupies water management and its watercourses modification. Least but not last it concentrates on infrastructure and related development and structural engineering. Attention will be aimed at sewage management, industry and natural raw materials extraction. It has to be mentioned the areas of tourism, mountain climbing and recreation, which should be kept only in marked areas and in accordance with nature conservation. Based on findings from individual areas is possible to compare what an impact did a human being on forming aspect of landscape of Czech paradise from year 1955 until the present. Even for such short time of history, it can be observed large change in landscape character or species association. For the future it will be necessary to reduce intensity of landscape recasting and more focus on conservation of indigenous of this nature heritage.

Comparison of Antivirus Software
Papica, Jiří ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Benda, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on comparison of selected anti-virus programs and subsequent choosing of the most suitable one for given computer. The thesis consists of two major parts. The first part focuses on anti-viruses and malware, which are divided into various types. In addition to the anti-virus section there are topics which are covering things like anti-virus tools and mechanism, e.g. firewalls and heuristics. At the end of the theoretic part there are topics which are briefly touched upon, topics like hardware basics of every computer which are later on important for the actual testing parts. The second major part of this thesis is about choosing the right attributes for ani-viruses, about choosing the right criteria for their future evaluation and finally the measurement of said criteria. The criteria that were chosen are thus: price, time it takes for video to be rendered in Sony Vegas Pro, time it takes for GPU benchmark to finish, time it takes for CPU benchmark to finish and finally the last criteria that was picked is the effectiveness against real-life threats. Anti-virus programs that were being evaluated are Eset Smart Security 9, Norton Security Deluxe, Avast! Internet Security and lastly Kaspersky Anti-Virus. The recorded values were converted into a point-based system, which allowed for clear and evident illustrations via graphs and charts. From the final graphs and charts I was able to recommend the most suitable anti-virus for given computer.

Comparison of mollusc fauna from selected natural reserves on southern Moravia
Bohatá, Lucie ; Vrabec, Vladimír (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
In this thesis is compared mollusc fauna of six protected areas on the south of Moravia, with characteristic and appraisal of their condition. These protected areas belong to control of BR Lower Moravia and almost all of them belong under control of CHKO Pálava: NPR Cahnov Soutok, NPR Křivé jezero, NPP Pastvisko u Lednice, NPR Ranšpurk, NPR Slanisko u Nesytu, EVL Trkmanské louky. Tested hypothesis was, whether reserves with prevailing of forest cover evince richer faun compare to reserves with prevailing of open space. Mollusc fauna was collected by individual picking with the aid of flush solid material through strainer and off take of forest soil. Subsequently collected material was inspected in detail, sorted out and determined. Information about discovered species was compared with the aid of Simpson´s index of domination and Jaccard´s index of similarity and recorded to tables. The biggest index of diversity has NPR Ranšpurk and the lowest has NPR Slanisko u Nesytu according to Simpson´s index. It means that community of molluscs from NPR Ranšpurk is covered same amount of specimen determined species, while on NPR Slanisko u Nesytu was discovered dominance of vulnerable species Anius spirobis (Linné, 1758). According to Jaccard´s index of similarity is the most similar (31%) reserve NPR Křivé jezero and NPR Slanisko u Nesytu and the worst similar (8%) are reserves NPP Pastvisko u Lednice and EVL Trkmanské louky. Hypothesis was confirmed on the grounds of number of species determined on collected stations and Simpson´s index with bigger diversity on reserves with prevailing of forest cover. According to Jaccard´s index of similarity are forest areas and open areas similar with 66%. The high similarity is consequence of abiotic factors, which influence inspected areas in reserves.
