Krajina a její půdní vývoj z hlediska činnosti člověka: případová studie na soutoku Vltavy a Labe
Hrnčiarová, Slavomíra
This paper focuses on the assessment of the use of the landscape during the early Eneolithic era on the two study areas Kly and Vrbno. Using soil analyzes concentrated on the selected physical, physicochemical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of the early holocene sediments, which form the infill in the study areas. Based on archeological discoveries, these walls were dated to the period of the Michelsberg culture (4400 BC). Sediments and texture elements are among the most important sources of information on the historical character and of the landscape use. There is a question, what was the original purpose and function of these objects and what was the process of their germination.
Studie návrhu rekonstrukce malé vodní nádrže v k.ú. Horní Loděnice
Tomanová, Denisa
The main topic of this diploma thesis is the reconstruction of a small reservoir in the cadastral area Horní Loděnice. The basis of this study is detailed field research of the reservoir and its catchment basin and the subsequent measurement of the location to create a digital terrain model. Another essential part is detection of natural conditions of the location and the current state of the reservoir. It will be possible to design reconstruction only after examination of all available information and measurement of the location.
Rybniční sedimenty a jejich potenciální využití v lesním hospodářství - rybník Klimšák.
Růžička, Patrik
This final work is focused on sedimentation regime within small size water reservoirs. Special attention is paid on mined sediments on forest stands, especially in forest nurseries to obtain amelioration effect. A model situation has been tested on real conditions at Klimšák reservoir and Kladnská forest nursery. The best melioration effect was when sediments and sandy soil from nursery were mixed in ratio 20:80. Such mixture results in 18% increase water retention in soil samples in laboratory. Results are theoretical only because of uncompleted legislative. Also different measures of maintenance have been proposed to reduce further sedimentation.
Zhodnocení revitalizace vodní nádrže Olešná
Forgačová, Kristýna
This diploma thesis aims to assess the restoration of the Olešná water reservoir. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate the measured values of the risk elements and hazardous substances from the sediments extracted from the Olešná reservoir according to Decree No. 257/2009 Coll. on the Use of Sediments on Agricultural Land. Another objective of the thesis is the analysis of basic parameters of water quality. The selected parameters are aggregate phosphorus, aggregate nitrogen, calcium and magnesium. The results of the monitoring are compared with the values of permissible surface water pollution from the Government Ordinance No. 401/2015 Coll. The source data for this thesis were provided by Povodí Odry, s.p. (Odra River Basin Enterprise). Literature review relates to topics of water reservoirs, soil erosion, sediments, quality and pollution of surface waters.
Numerical Model of Water Flow in the Upper Reservoir Nové Mlýny
Winkler, Stanislav ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on understanding problematic of sedimentation in reservoirs with relation on flood episodes. For creating numerical model was necessary to ensure data about morphology of the river, granular composition of the riverbed and hydrology data. In thesis is written how were obtained these documentations, description of creating numerical model in program HEC – RAS 5.0.7. and results of done simulations of real flood episodes, which took place in years 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2013. Output is evaluation each flood episode, description of grain class curves and evaluation of yearly flow before change of riverbed due to transport of sediments and after change of morphology of riverbed.
Relation Between River Flows and Suspended Sediments in the Selected Hydrometric Profile of the Thaya River Basin
Bobková, Dominika ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The issue of the sediments of their transport and subsequent storage in water basins is an important topic which is perceived very seriously by the water management expert public. Therefore, work in this area is very desirable. The aim of bachelor‘s work is to find and estimate possible dependencies between average daily discharge and average daily values of non dissolved substances carried in suspension. The dependencies will serve as a partial basis for addressing the ATCZ28 SEDECO Sediments project, ecosystem services and interrelation with floods and droughts in the AT-CZ Border region. The data are analysed in different periods of time. The result of the analysis is the trend line regulations and the degree of dependence between flows and concentrations, which is expressed by means of a coefficient of determination. The practical application is performed on data measured in the Trávní Dvůr profile on the Dyje river for the years 1996 and 1997.
Prague metro as a place for geological excursions
Pekárovics, František ; Matějka, Dobroslav (advisor) ; Klomínský, Josef (referee)
Pražské metro jako prostor pro realizaci geologických exkurzí Abstract: The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate and explore the potential of the tiling materials used in the Prague metro and to create guidelines suitable for organizing geological excursions. Preparation of water course revitalization study
ŠINDELÁŘ, Jiří
This diploma thesis deals with the design of ox-bow lake revitalization measures, located southwest to the city Strakonice. Due to its charakteristics, ox-bow lake represents high-value biodiversity area. Recently, due to a disturbation in the aquatic regime, this area is threatened in sediment issue. Practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the sediment and water level research and monitoring of plant and animal species. Obtained data result in particular revitalization measures.
Obsah biogenů (N,P) ve vodě a sedimentu vybraných rybníků
Horák, Filip
The aim of presented diploma thesis was 7-months monitoring of biogenous elements (P, N) in water and its determination in bottom sediments within selected fihsponds assigned by Rybníkářství Pohořelice a.s. Studied fihsponds were Šumický horní, Šumický dolní and Pohořelický. Sampling of water was carried out twice a month from two separate sampling spots, both near the fishpond dam. Basic physicochemical parameters of water were measured in locality, samples for laboratory chemical analysis and plankton analysis were transported to the Department of Fisheries and Hydrobiology for further analysing. The main aim of this project was to account for massive fish kill in summer season in the fishpond Pohořelický dolní on which was Rybníkářství Pohořelice a.s. focused mainly. Realized monitoring showed rapid decrease in dissolved oxygen amount in water which caused mainly the fish kill. Based on this result, decreasing of fish stock intensity and lower fertilization with manure within fishpond management was suggested as suitable. Subsequently, the mud removal of fishpond and use of superphosphate when the level of dissolved oxygen goes below the critical limit was suggested as well.
Contamination of floodplain of the Ploucnice by heavy metals: relation to its architecture
Hošek, Michal ; Goliáš, Viktor (advisor) ; Kříbek, Bohdan (referee)
Summary: This thesis is focused on mapping of contaminants released into the environment probably due to uranium mining. These chemical contaminants are used to reconstruct the sedimentary processes. The aim of the thesis was both the geochemical assessment of the situation in the catchment area of the Ploucnice River in Boreček using the flood sediments from the research points as sedimentary archives pollution for last decades. With depth profiles, gamma wire log, XRF and enrichment factors (LEF), we have tried to perform chemostratigraphic correlation of the sediments. As target elements U, Ba, Zn and Ni were chosen, whose concentrations are related to the grain size of the sediment. Furthermore, the theory of secondary pollution is developed.
