Supported employment as a option of solution of handicapped people participation at the labour market

Diploma thesis "Supported employment as a option of solution of handicapped people participation at the labour market " attend to supported employment. It is the service, which provide assistance for handicapped people in participation at the open labour market among people without disability. Such employment, in contrast to sheltered employment, offer a possibility to do a meaningful work, space for self-fulfillment, salary and prevent handicapped people from social exclusion. Supported employment provides benefits for disabled people, for their families and also for employers. In the Czech republic is supported employment quite a new service, which is related to some problems. For example financing and absence of skilled workers at agencies for supported employment. Solving problems of the Czech concept of supported employment can be found in systems of supported employment in some developed European country, where is supported employment quite wide-spread, such as Norway. Future trend is oriented to extension of this service and then it will be more available for all of expectants. The main goal is also in increase of meaning about supported employment in society and establishes supported employment as a part of Czech legislation.
Analysis of migration from Ukraine to the Czech Republic

Ukrainians are the largest minority in the Czech Republic and they form an important part of both Czech society and its economy nowadays. The bachelor thesis analyzes the causes of Ukrainian migration to the Czech Republic. Regression analysis was performed to obtain results. The work concludes that motivation of Ukrainian migration is the economic attractiveness of the Czech Republic. However, it is not possible to ignore the cultural, ethnic, historical and linguistic relationship of these two nations. Možnosti podpory vzdělávání a zaměstnanosti mladých lidí v subsaharské Africe

The diploma thesis evaluates how education influences the success of young people in the labour market in Zambia and analyses the causes for unemployment and underemployment. The work covers a literature review of education and the labour market in Zambia, as well as the description of economic and social aspects of the country. The practical part contains analysis of the matters which is followed by the development project proposal. The proposal is administrated according to the Czech Development Agency and which aims to improve the situation in rural area of Kashitu in Zambia. This project focuses on reducing youth unemployment and development of economic activities in Kashitu through the construction of a new vocational centre. Foundation for the project is based on the research, which used a method of participant observation in the field, and on the cooperation with local community non-profit organization New Renato Community Society.
Vliv Průmyslu 4.0 na zaměstnanost v zemědělství

The aim of this diploma thesis is to map the potential impacts of Industry 4.0 on agricultural employment – in a context of the labour market and human resources management. The theoretical part focuses on the knowledge of the entire Industry 4.0 concept, its history and possible future impacts/transfers especially in the agriculture field. The following part is dedicated to the situation on selected farms and opinions of farm managers, agricultural advisors and directors of secondary agricultural schools on the issue. Based on the analysis of primary data was revealed that currently there is a big lack of workers which is one of the main reasons why farm managers are prioritizing automate/robotize production. In the final part of the thesis is discussed gained knowledge and recommendations for farm businesses and secondary agricultural schools in a manner of using new technologies and possible impacts of automatization, robotization and digitalization on employment itself.
Youth Unemployment in Ghana: Causes, Consequences and Policies

This paper seeks to ascertain the current situation of unemployment in Ghana and to compare the situation of youth unemployment and other indicators in Ghana to other selected African countries; Nigeria, Togo, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast. This study also assesses the current policy measures and their efficiency in addressing youth unemployment in Ghana. Data for this study was obtained from The World Bank, Ghana Statistical Service, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Using education attainment, it was confirmed that skill mismatched is a contributory factor to unemployment amongst other things. To address the issue of youth unemployment, government must shift its focus on examination oriented educational system to critical thinking and problem-solving approach. Government should also promote vocational training and provide support and incentives to individuals who aim to establish their own businesses to employ others. This would complement the effort of government in addressing the issue of youth unemployment in Ghana.

It consists of a review of literature that focuses mainly on human resources management, flexible forms of work and social diversity in the organization. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the current condition of flexible forms of work in the labor market within the Czech Republic in the area of the engineering industry. In the framework of qualitative research, semi-structured interviews with HR representatives or other executives are car-ried out. Quantitative research is also carried out within the framework of the questionnaire survey. The results of both investigations are then processed appropriately. All survey information obtained is used as input to draft proposals and recommendations
Factors influencing relations between the German language and high school students

The thesis deals with factors which could influence a relation between high school students and German language. It surveys factors influencing the choice to study German as foreign language and also factors affecting their relationship with the subject. One of the topics is a classification of German in the language system and describing forms of its occurrence. Between the particular factors impacting a decision which language should be studied is for example the possibility to utilize this language in a future career or living in the German speaking countries included. It also delves into the influence of the common history between Czechs and Germans. The student can be affected by a teacher, not only in the positive, but also in the negative way during their school years. The thesis also studies how the difficulty of the German language impacts its learning process and compares the effects to English. These two languages are also compared at the primary school and high school levels, while the focus is primarily on the length of the schooling and the achieved language level. Visapoint: implementation case study of the service for visa applicants from Ukraine

The diploma thesis has the character of descriptive case study and it deals with the system of electronic ordering of terms for applications for residence permits, Visapoint, which was introduced between 2009 and 2017 at selected embassies in third countries, which means countries outside the EU and EEA. The main implementer of the Visapoint, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, since its introduction promised equal, fair and free access for foreigners to reserve a date. However, the operation of the Visapoint was problematic from the beginning. From the foreigner's point of view, it was not possible to register for the application and many of them used the services of illegal intermediaries who filled the deadlines to sell them dearly. The research in the thesis is based on the theory of implementation, namely the top - down model, which was first developed by Sabatier and Mazmanian. The research used qualitative research methods, especially document research, analysis of actors and a combination of structured interview with open questions with the interview using instructions. The research was aimed at visa applicants from Ukraine, where one of the most problematic approaches to applying was. The research shows that Visapoint was chosen correctly as a tool, but its implementation was problematic.

Prohibition of discrimination against women in labor law relations Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the issue of women's discrimination in labor law relations. The aim of this thesis is a complex conception of the issue, especially the examination of women's position in labor law market in the context of selected socio-cultural problems and the historical genesis of women's position, definition of terms related to discrimination and analysis of relevant legislation, including case law. The thesis also deals with historical context, the current situation of women's position in the labor market and also the legal basis of equal treatment and non-discrimination principles. The thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion. Each chapter focuses on various aspects of the position of women in the labor market related to the principles of equal treatment and non- discrimination. The first chapter discusses the historical development of the position of women in society. The chapter is divided into four subchapters. Roma on the Czech countryside: Determinants of exclusion, potentials for inclusion

The dissertation project Roma on the Czech countryside: Determinants of exclusion, potentials for inclusion deals with the situation of Roma in Czech rural municipalities. The starting motivation for the author's exploration of this topic has been information about the growing number of segregated localities in rural areas. In the local public discourses within the peripheral areas, this phenomenon has often been explained as the consequence of poverty-driven urban-rural migration. However, as the migration of socially excluded populations into disadvantaged areas stirs a lot of fears and negative emotions that provide a fertile ground for the spread of rumours, the author's preparatory research soon revealed that it is necessary to carefully distinguish between myths and reality. The author's desire to understand the complex processes behind the emergence of new Roma localities in rural areas required a combination of working methods: The author analysed the national policy and regulatory framework and realized empirical research in five micro-regions in different parts of the Czech Republic.
