Testing of the postural stabilization in relation to weight changes of breasts

Title: Testing of the postural stabilization in relation to weight changes of breasts Objectives: Aim of this study is to assess postural changes after breast reduction. To capture the level of postural stability before and after surgery and to evaluate changes between these states. Methods: This thesis is a clinical trial of one group of persons (n=12). It has been created as a quasi experiment. For testing there was used diagnostic method of postural somatooscilography (PSOG) which includes performing postural provocation test on the platform Posturomed under standard conditions. The testing was performed three times. The measurement was recorded by program Microswing 6.0, the collected data was evaluated by program Posturomed Commander and further analyzed by one - way Analysis of Variance in statistical program OpenStat. Results: Managed to prove, that breast reduction has a positive influence on postural stabilization at women suffering from gigantomastia. Title: The Level of Postural Maturation of Children in Athletic-preparatory Schools Author: Terezie Janečková Objective: There are more and more athletic-preparatory schools in athletic units and clubs nowadays. Athletic-preparatory school means a group of five or six-year-old children with one or two training lessons per week. Czech athletic association wants to spread an interest in athletics among parents and their children, to find athletic talents as soon as possible and develop them by this way. The recruitment of children at this age already exists in many sports, but it is new in athletics in the Czech Republic. But that does not go for everyone that this sport training at preschool age is the appropriate and healthy way for a child motor development. I would like to evaluate the influence of athletic-preparatory schools on the child motor development. Due to the fact that there are no tests to apply for this purpose in literaure, we have to compose our own set of tests, which are used in physiotherapy. Postural stability in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury

6 Abstract Title: Postural stability in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to find out if the postural stability is differed in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and in the control group after the "4 steps - one leg stance" test had been performed. Methods: This study compared a group with anterior cruciate ligament injury and a control group on the basis of the "4 steps - one leg stance" test. Methods of comparison and analysis were used. Results: The test and all measurements revealed differences in postural stability between subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and the control group while they were standing both on operated and non-operated limb. Physiotherapy for Female Urinary Incontinence in Middle-aged

Urinary incontinence is defined as a condition which leads to inability to control the loss of urine. It represents a socio-psychological problem, which negatively influences the quality of live. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is summarized the knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of pelvis and pelvic floor, physiology and neurophysiology of micturition, and theory of a urinary incontinence. There are also described types of urinary incontinence, their symptoms, prevention and risk factors of this disease. Furthermore there are involved ways of diagnosing and methods of conservative and invasive treatment. The practical part of the thesis consists of three case studies of women with different stages of stress urinary incontinence. It involves medical history, kinesiological analysis, procedure of the rehabilitation and output examination with a general evaluation of a state of the patients. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the influence of physiotherapy and its methods on improving urinary incontinence of middle-aged women.
