Trade relations between Slovakia and Russia

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze trade relations of Slovakia and Russia in detail with emphasis on the energy dependance issues of the former. The thesis defines the causes of the energy dependance issues. The first part deals with economic and trade cooperation and foreign trade statistics. The second part displays chronological development of the relations from the establishment of autonomy of Slovakia to the present time. The thesis' conclusion focuses on the energy politics of Slovakia and suggests possible solution to the matter.

The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce the country, to summarize facts and mainly to analyze business environment through businessmen' and entrepreneurs' eyes. I find out specifics, interesting issues and strong and weak sides. It also analyzes business co-operation between Czech Republic and Burma and point out future perspective.

Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an important potential partner for the Czech business entities based on a comprehensive and objective analysis of factors that could affect the cooperation between these two countries. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one deals with the general characteristics of Saudi Arabia, particularly with demographic and geographic data, administrative structure, history and political-legal environment. The second chapter is about the economic characteristics of the country and it concentrates on the development of macroeconomic indicators, the various sectors of economy, finance, foreign trade and investment climate. The third section focuses on business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia, with an emphasis on the development of mutual relations, trade balance and the specifics of the entry of Czech subjects on the Saudi market, including SWOT and PESTLE analysis and information about companies that have been already successful on the Saudi market. The last chapter is about cultural differences and I mention Hofstede's cultural dimensions, gender issues, values in society and the impact of cultural differences on the business negotiations.

Commercial Relations between Slovakia and France

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze commercial relations between Slovakia and France focusing on finding other opportunities for future cooperation in various fields. The thesis aims to explain the importance of the trade as well as the political relations between the countries, their development and direction. The first part deals with economic and trade cooperation and foreign trade statistics. The second part is devoted to the investment environment of Slovakia, types of the investment incentives and possibilities of the state aid for those interested in investing. This section includes also the benefits that Slovakia offers to French investors. The third part presents the investment spheres of Slovakia in which French partners have established their businesses and in which they are working nowadays. The fourth part of the work describes a chronological order of the development of bilateral relations since the establishment of Slovakia through its changes of government officials up till now. The conclusion of the thesis is an analysis of perspectives and suggestions in the areas of further cooperation between France and Slovakia.

Trade relations between India and the EU

The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of trade relations between India and the EU. The first chapter describes the development of bilateral relations between India and the EU and strengthening of their cooperation, mainly in the area of trade. There are also mentioned the barriers to trade which impede closer cooperation. The second chapter focuses on characteristic of bilateral trade in goods and services and on the flow of foreign direct investment. Tha last part is addressed to the issue of trade cooperation between India and the EU in the future, concretely in terms of the World Trade Organization and in terms of the upcoming free trade area.

Czech-Swiss business relations with the consideration to the cultural differences

This thesis tries to analyse the business co-operation between the Czech Republic and Switzerland and describe cultural and business aspects of Switzerland. The first chapter focuses on basic characteristic of Switzerland as language diversity, geography, religion and history. In the last part of this chapter I am inspecting the position of Switzerland to EU. The second chapter is oriented on the Swiss economic situation. The third chapter is devoted to Czech-Swiss business co-operation. The fourth chapter is devoted to the culture according to a study of Geert Hofstede. Next chapter is concerned with the business and cultural specialities. The last chapter is devoted to processing of the questionnaire, whereby I tried to attest how much the knowledge from the literature is related to the real life.

The influence of cultural differences on business co-operation between the Czech Republic and Russia

The bachelor work deals with the cultural differences between the Czech Republic and Russia and their impact on mutual business co-operation. At first, the general characteristics of Russia and its international relations are described. The following is an explanation of the concept of culture, compared to CR and RF on the basis of cultural dimensions of Geert Hofstede and getting to know the specifics of Russian culture, business etiquette and Russian trade negotiations. The conclusion is devoted to his own research, which summarizes the opinions and views of each other Russians and the Czechs themselves.
