Methods and procedures for the protection of anthropogenic objects of historical human activities in forests

The methodology focuses on the use of information about identification, documentation and presentation of anthropogenic objects - relics of historical human economic activity in forests,. These information result from linking forestry, heritage conservation and archaeology. Anthropogenic objects in forests are mainly old roads, sites of historical raw material extraction, raw material processing objects, abandoned settlements, signs of past coppice management, etc. The reason for the development of the methodology is the fear of loss (damage) of these objects by forestry activities. exacerbated at present by the processing of a bark beetle calamity of big proportions on a substantial part of the Czech Republic. If we accepted damage tor destruction of these objects, we would also accept a loss of cultural and historical heritage of the Czech Republic.

Diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the present opportunities and using ICT/IS in forestry. Diploma thesis includes a survey, wich found out real data about the present situation and using ICT/IS in forestry, especially in specialization on economy and leading of companies. Based on finding most used solutions there was written a review of IS from different manufacturers. Deliverable of diploma thesis is builiding proposal solution on use ICT/IS according to the size assets managed by forestry company.

Zhodnocení vývoje vybraných makroekonomických charakteristik lesního hospodářství v národním hospodářství České republiky v období let 2003 až 2013

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to put the field of forestry into the context of economy of the Czech Republic. It does so by comparing the following macroeconomics characteristics: General Unemployment Rate, Inflation, Average Gross Monthly Wage (Czech average, forestry), Rate of Employment (Czech average, forestry, agriculture, wood processing), Gross Domestic Product, Gross Value Added (Czech average, forestry, agriculture, wood processing), Prices of Selected Assortments, and Logging between years 2003 and 2014. An analysis of these records reveals the current trends in the field of forestry, like decreasing number of employees, increasing productivity, or increasing wage, which is still below the country average.

Analýza mysliveckého hospodaření u firmy Třeboňské lesy a rybníky s.r.o.

This work analyzes an economics in two hunting areas in the use of company "Třeboňské lesy a rybníky s.r.o." it means "Forests and ponds of Třeboň City" (then just TLR), which manages primarily the forests of Třeboň. The research area is located in the South Bohemian region, district of Jindřichův Hradec, and the city Třeboň is a district of municipalities with extended competence. Evaluation of hunting managment from the economics and biological view. The comparation of results with a literature and commentary on recommendations on these topics.

Identifikace potenciálních příležitostí v cirkulární ekonomice ve vybraném odvětví národního hospodářství

The aim of this work is to describe the principles of circular economy and bioeconomics and find opportunities for its use in the condition of Czech forestry. To achieve this goal, the method of mapping material flows in forestry in historical, current, and predicting future values was chosen, and key actors in the industry were selected. In-depth interviews were conducted with them and a professional workshop was organized. Based on the discussion, barriers were defined according to the PESTLE method and the list of possible mitigation measures was created, including the selection of the most promising possibilities of using wood biomass locally and with the highest added value.

Analýza cen surového dříví nabízeného při pni dodavatelsky či formou elektronických aukcí na LS Hořice

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of raw wood prices offered as felled sales by delivery or by means of electronic auctions at the Forest Administration of Hořice, forest company of the Czech Republic, s. p. In each chapter there is described the forest administration, information about sold quantity of wood mass and detailed analysis of prices of sold wood in auctions. The diploma thesis is focused on the period 2012 - 2016. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze raw wood prices offered by the method referred to as "felled sales", on delivery, or in the form of electronic auctions. Further, the subsequent synthesis of the obtained results and recommendations, which woody species or vegetation groups (according to individual parameters) is more suitable to offer in supply and in the form of electronic auctions.

Vyhodnocení veřejného zájmu na lesích a návrh komunikační strategie s veřejností na příkladu modelového území Třeboňské pánve

The diploma thesis deals with and evaluates the public interest in the forests, the work was elaborated in the territory of the Třeboň Basin, as a model example, the Forest Administration Třeboň, where the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area is also located. The aim of the thesis was to propose procedures for communication strategy in the field of public relations. The diploma thesis is divided into two basic parts. The theoretical part focuses on the issues of communication strategy, definition and characterization of studied territory and analysis of public interest from a theoretical point of view, especially from the point of view of legislation. The practical part is focused on the research itself, which took place in the summer of 2017. The data of the Agency for Nature and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic for the years 2015 and 2016 are used to evaluate the quantitative indicators of forest attendance. In the course of the diploma thesis a questionnaire was created, which was placed 3046 forest visitors. The survey results are presented in the diploma thesis. The survey shows that the public perceives, among other things, insufficient information about foresters' activities. In the framework of the work activities are proposed which should be part of the communication strategy in forestry. The communication strategy should be a comprehensive work of many forestry institutions.
