This thesis focuses on the study and optimization of inventory management in company XXX Ltd. The theoretical part is dedicated to characteristic of basic concepts related to inventory management, their classification, related costs and inventory management methods. Practical part is focused on the analysis of the current state in the company, on providing, storage and controlling of inventory. This analysis reveals deficiencies for which several solutions will be suggested. They will lead to more effective inventory management in the company.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the creation of internal directives for supplying and storing in the business company. Firstly, there are theoretical concepts, which are linked with company directives and supplies billing, defined. Then, there is an analysis of the company made, in which it´s working and supply storing is described. In the last part, there are suggestions for improving the supply evidence including a model of company directives for the company presented.

This solution will contribute to the competitive advantage of the company in the market.

Analysis of Functions of Several Variables in Inventory Management

This bachelor’s thesis construates model which helps to retailer determining optimal prices of items and determining the maximum length of the period over which the goods can be sold at a profit. This model deals with two situations in which supplier provides the supplier credit for permissible delay. The model expects the time-dependent demand and has been developed for non-deterioration items. In this model are used the methods of mathematical analysis.

This thesis focuses on the management of a selected part of the production process in IMI Precision Engineering and aims to present a proposal for the introduction of a new approach to managing the production task of the given production process part using the Kanban model. The subject of the analysis is the inventory of the given production process part, which are analysed based on ABC / XYZ analysis, the conclusions of which, presented in the design part of the thesis, serve as basis for the creation of a proposal for the introduction of Kanban.

Study of the Supply Process in a Trading Company

The diploma thesis deals with the study of the supply process in the chosen company, which mainly deals with the purchase and sale of cleaning machines and equipment. The thesis presents a proposal to improve the Supply Chain, with an emphasis on streamlining traffic, while at the same time making it possible to streamline customer service by designing a website. The work is divided into three main parts. The first part includes all the theoretical starting points, from which the analytical part starts. This part is mainly consists of analyzing the state of the company by using appropriate methods. On the basis of the shortcomings identified, the third part discusses suggestions for improving the processes that will contribute to their improvement, increasing the competitiveness of the company and increasing the value for the customer.

This diploma thesis deals with inventory management during company transition Sanmina-SCI Česká republika s. r. o. to new information systems. First are explained the basic and specialized concepts of logistics, information systems and introduces related issues to the reader. Other parts of the thesis deal with analysis and suggestions for possible solutions to streamline planning of the purchase of material elements.
