The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation in the selected company. The theoretical part will be focused on the theoretical basis, basic concepts, methods and indicators of the financial analysis. In practical part the theoretical basis will be applied on the particular company in order to find out current status of the company. Measures for correcting the problems will be presented in the last part of thesis.

Valuation of Company Performance

The subject of the thesis "Evaluation of company performance" is evaluating the quality of information provided by and the subsequent application of the busines performance measuring indicators. The first part focuses on the basic concepts, such as the enterprise value of the company. The second part evaluates the classical methods of financial analysis, including creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. The third part focuses on modern EVA indicator. The last part is focused on the application of these methods and models to a selected company and to evaluate its performance in the years 2012-2014.

This bachelor thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Porr, a.s. by using statistical methods. The thesis is consists of two main parts. The first part is theoretical and focuses on financial analysis, describes regression analysis and time series. The second part includes the financial analysis and the prediction of further development for the company by using statistical method. Recommendations for improving the financial situation in the future are suggested as the conclusion of these parts.

Assessing the Financial Efficiency of the Bučovice Tools, a.s. Company Using Time Series Analysis

This bachelor‘s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company Bučovice Tools, a.s. and makes suggestions for its improvement. The selected economic indicators for the period 2008-2013 are evaluated using statistical methods, based on the theoretical part of the thesis. Possible further development of these indicators is predicted using regression analysis. The important part of the thesis are proposals for improvement of economy of the company based on the findings of the analysis. Programs for calculation of selected indicators of financial analysis, characterictics of time series and regression analysis are other outputs of the bachelor’s thesis.

Valuation of a company

This theisis deals with the valuation of a selected company. The main instrument used for achieving the valuation is the income method of valuation. In the first part of the thesis is defined theoretical background that are needed for developing the practical part. The practial part of the thesis contains the characteristics of the selected company. For the purposes of valuation was performed strategic snalysis and were analyzed key financial indicators of valuated company. The part of the work is allso predicting the value of individual generators, financial plan and the achal valuation based on dicounted cash-flow and prfit method based on the capitalized net income. The aim is to determine the value of the company to selected date of valuation.

Assessing the Efficiency of a Company Using Statistical Method

The master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of financial efficiency of the company Bučovice Tools, a.s. using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes financial analysis, time series analysis, regression analysis and correlation analysis. In the practical part, the selected indicators of financial analysis are subjected to statistical analysis to detect dependence between indicators and to determine the prediction of the future development. Based on the financial results, the company is compared with a chosen company and with average indicators of the industry and are designed possibilities to improve the economic situation.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate financial indicators in TRANS-TECHNIK company using statistical methods. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part describes the selected financial indicators and their calculating methods. Furthermore, it describes regressive analysis and time lines. In the practical part, this theory is then applied to the selected company TRANS-TECHNIK. At the end of this thesis, suggestions on how to improve the company situations can be found.

Accounting policy of the entities preparing their financial statements in accordance with IFRS

The diploma thesis deals with the design of measures to prevent accounting fraud for units compiling IFRS financial statements. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theory of creating international harmonization of accounting systems. The second part is devoted to the analysis and description of selected, the most frequently used international accounting standards, from which the part of own solutions is based. The third part, own solution proposals, deals with the application of the analytical part to a specific selected company, ČD Cargo, a. s. Differences between accounting in different accounting systems are discussed, namely the impact of differences on selected indicators of financial analysis.
