The aim of my bachelor thesis is to design a two-story detached house. The project is divided into two parts. The first part contains the architectural and construction solutions for the project documentation required for building permission, while the second part contains building environment engineering. The project also includes a fire safety solution, Building Energy Performance Certificate, daylighting assessment and an assessment of acoustics. The building is located in the cadastral unit Sadová in Brno. It is situated on a flat plot. The building´s architectural appearance blends into the surrounding development. Building is based on reinforced concrete strip foundations. The building is designed in the masonry construction system consisting of ceramic blocks and it has a flat roof. The house is insulated by the ETICS system. The load-bearing walls in the garage are made of ceramic blocks filled with mineral wool insulation. The garage has a flat green roof. The floor slab structure is designed as a prefabricated system with ceramic blocks and reinforced concrete. The main entrance is oriented to the north. On the first floor is situated a social zone that consists of living room with kitchen, office, entrance, walk-in closet, bathroom and WC. On the second floor is located a private zone consisting of master bedroom with two walk-in closets, two children´s bedrooms and a bathroom. The building is connected to the sanitary and stormwater sewer, water supply system and electricity. Rainwater management on the property is designed with stormwater tank. The building is heated by an air-to-water heat pump that distributes heat throughout the house using floor heating. In the bathrooms, there is electrical heating system by ladder radiator. Air exchange in the house is provided by a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery.

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the construction of an apartment building. The building is located on plot no. 5184/6 in the cadastral territory of Vracov. It is a detached house with four above-ground stories and one underground story. The floor plan of the apartment building is rectangular. Operationally, the building is divided into 7 residential units with layouts of 1+kk, 2+kk, and 3+1. Collective garages, storage cubicles, and technical facilities are located on the underground floor. The house is built on strip foundations made of plain concrete. The load-bearing structure is designed as a wall system made of ceramic building blocks. The load-bearing structure in the underground is supplemented with peripheral monolithic reinforced concrete walls, supporting beams, and a column. The horizontal load-bearing structures consist of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The roof structure is designed as a single-layer flat roof. The house is sheathed with insulation boards made of mineral cotton wool.

Kurka, Štěpán ; Pobucká, Slávka (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
As part of the bachelor's thesis, project documentation was developed at the construction implementation level within the partially required scope. The documentation includes a project for a family house located in the northern part of the village of Kobeřice in Silesia. The new building is integrated into an already developed area of the village and is set into the terrain, taking advantage of the sloping land for the operational solution. The building is designed as a single dwelling unit for permanent residence by five people, with technical facilities and garage space. Access to the dwelling unit is provided from the west side to the first above-ground floor. From a material perspective, the building is designed using predominantly ceramic blocks for both load-bearing and non-load-bearing vertical structures. The building envelope is insulated with an ETICS system to reduce energy consumption. The construction is based on monolithic foundation strips with a base concrete slab. The ceiling structures in the building are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is roofed with two flat single-layer roofs at different height levels.
