ICT tester
Tatar, Martin ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the extension of the ICT Tester plugin module which allows the user to digitally sign the generated outputs and with the testing of selected DoS attacks that are implemented in it. In the theoretical part of the thesis, selected types of DoS attacks are analyzed, it is described how they work, how to defend against them, examples of significant attacks that actually took place are included and Apache JMeter is described. In the practical part selected attacks are created and tested. Then the new funcionality for digital signature is implemented.
Ensuring Long-term Data Integrity in Cloud Storage
Nohava, Martin ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is the design and development of a system to ensure the long-term integrity of data from the Nextcloud cloud storage, which manages and stores electronic evidence. In the introductory part, the terms and principles used for securing data integrity are presented, including quantum-resistant digital signature schemes. Subsequently, the architecture of the archiving system and the method of its connection with the Nextcloud cloud storage are proposed. The resulting system consists of two main components, the Archive application, which extends the web interface of the Nextcloud instance, and the archiving system, which ensures the integrity of the archived files themselves. In addition to time stamps, system also uses a quantum-resistant Dilithium signature scheme. At the end of the work, an evaluation of the implemented solution is carried out by measuring the performance of the archiving system, and options for its further development are proposed.
Copyright protection of electronic documents
Zachoval, Tadeáš ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Člupek, Vlastimil (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the copyright protection of electronic documents. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the electronic document and various types of files that can be encountered while working on a computer and consider them as electronic documents. The fundamental part of the theoretical part is the analysis of various copyright protection methods for electronic documents. In the practical part was created a Python application based on mentioned analysis. The application implements selected methods of copyright protection.
Software library of basic symmetric and asymmetric primitives of modern cryptography on embedded platforms
Miška, Matěj ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with a search of cryptographic primitives for embedded systems, which are tested on Raspberry Pi platforms and the results compared in the subsequent practical part. The content of the research is an explanation of the use of cryptography in information systems, an example of a protocol using cryptography in the energy sector, the selection of cryptographic primitives based on recommendations from security institutions, a description of Raspberry Pi embedded platforms and an introduction of cryptographic libraries providing tools to perform cryptographic operations. The theoretical part of the thesis results in an overview of the information needed to create a test tool. The subsequent practical part deals with the theoretical design of the required tool, the determination of the functions that the tool must have and the way of performing the testing. This is followed by a description of the choice of the programming language and development environment suitable for this work, together with a description of the internal structure of the developed application. The testing parameters are mainly the computational, memory and time requirements of the cryptographic primitives on the system. The paper concludes with methods of running and controlling the application, possible presentation of the measured results, the actual results of testing the selected embedded platforms and a discussion of these results.
Wireless robot control using mobile platform
Matuška, Jakub ; Kiac, Martin (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for robot’s omnidirectional movement control using mobile platform. Implementation includes an Android application, used as user interface, as well as robot–side Python program for controlling movement and sending RTP stream to Android application. User can control robot’s movement using two virtual joysticks. Raspberry Pi was used as the control unit. The application has security module. Pipeline-based multimedia framework named GStreamer was used to implement RTP steaming. This paper describes necessary theory first and then introduces basic building blocks used in creation process of the application.
Postquantum cryptography on FPGA
Kek, Sanjin ; Gerlich, Tomáš (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor thesis is postquantum cryptography on FPGA. Focus of theoretical part is to acquaint the reader with FPGA technology, basic principles of VHDL language, current situation in the field of postquantum cryptography and postquantum digital signing scheme CRYSTALS-Dilithium. Increased attention is paid to this scheme. Algorithms needed for function of the scheme, such as SHAKE, NTT and smaller operations used for public key compression, are described. Practical part contains hardware implementation of expandable output function SHAKE and smaller operations, such as Decompose, UseHint, Power2Round and others.
Electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions
Hrbotický, Lukáš ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Bachelors thesis talking about problematics of electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions. It describes and explains concepts used in the area of electronical communication mentioned in regulation eIDAS. Solutions demonstrating trust services are part of the work. As practical part of this thesis was created laboratory exercise, in which will students try the possibilities offered by certification authority. The goal of this work is explanation and definition of concepts according to eIDAS regulations and realization of system demonstrating these services.
Možnosti implementace elektronického podpisu při víceúrovňové komunikaci v informačním systému
ŘEŘICHA, Jakub
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of the electronic signature for signing electronic documents in corporate practice. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis introduces the problematics of electronic signature from the point of view of the new legislation of the European Union and the Czech Republic, outlines current technical possibilities and describes individual types of electronic signature. In the analytical part of the thesis, an overview of all evaluated means of the electronic signature was prepared, listing main advantages and disadvantages and their suitability for the communication levels given by the company information system. In addition, the thesis is focused on the mapping of current means and needs of electronic signature in the processing of documents in electronic form in the company information system environment. Further in the thesis a solution for identified needs of the company is also designed and this solution is demonstrated in the form of proof-of-concept.
Solution for registration of sales
Rolli, Andreas ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Manda, Libor (referee)
This thesis deals with a comparison and an evaluation of chosen solutions or products/services for registration of sales. For registration of sales were selected 8 solutions which are evaluated by the method of multi-criteria evaluation (15 criterions) and the output is one number in a range from 1 to 10 which determines quality and value of the solution. The selected solutions cover all the types from simple SW applications to the POS systems. Accomplishment of the objective is beneficial, as the comparisons and evaluations are independent in this thesis and also because the web portals based on comparisons of solutions for registration of sales focus on earnings. The second part of this thesis deals with a creation of an exemplary software application for registration of sales. The application is programmed in C# programming language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 development environment. The application sends data to the system of registration of sales and receives a response (fiscalization). The whole communication takes place in a non-production environment known as Playground, which is intended for developers. A part of the attachment of this thesis is a set of source codes which developers can use for their POS application or system. A benefit from the exemplary application is a completion of blank spaces which were not previously filled by Financial Authority. Financial Authority only published a technical specification which is only an interpretation of the law.
Electronic money
Gescheidt, Daniel ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis are described electronic money systems, which uses cryptography techniques such as symmetric and asymmetric ciphers, digital sign and hash function. Describing those techniques is crucial for understanding how electronic money systems works. Then three electronic money systems from Czech republic are briefly described.
