Analysis of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings

Tourism is one of the most dynamic parts of the service sector in the national economy. This research analyzes the current state of tourism in Český Krumlov and its surroundings, especially the incoming tourism of domestic clients. The intensity of tourism in a specific destination increases exponentially and brings its positives and negatives. The thesis describes specific factors that affect the current situation. The basic elements of the analysis are supply of the destination, thus attractiveness and amenities of the destination, and demand that creates the very destination of tourism. The aspects characterizing the current state of tourism are specified according to the data collected from the survey.The investigation aims to evaluate the subsequent procedures leading to the development of tourism and to satisfy the increasing needs of domestic tourists. Among other things, the thesis presents tools and products, which can be used to achieve further development of tourism in the destination.
Modern Marketing Communication of selected Town in the Field of Tourism

The main objective of this thesis was to identify and evaluate marketing communication tools of the Czech Budweis destination, and to subsequently propose changes leading to their improvement. One part of the thesis was a mixed methods research, which was used for combination of advantages of both approaches - the qualitative as well as the quantitative one. The qualitative research was focused on the city's current state of marketing communication, and mutual cooperation between the city representatives and stakeholders. The quantitative research analyzed the level of tourists and residents' satisfaction with marketing communication of the city. Finally, the selected modern tools of marketing communication were compared between the cities of Czech Budweis, Brno and Pilsner. A proposal part was worked out based on the research results and literary study. This part contained the implementation of modern trends of marketing communication into the communication mix of the destination. These propositions should have particularly lead to coherent marketing communication, its optimization and innovation in the sense of using available modern tools and technologies. Additionally, they could be implemented into conceptual documents concerning the development of the tourism. Thanks to those the destination could raise general public awareness about its attractiveness, connect with new potential visitors and satisfy he communication needs of local residents, tourists and entrepreneurs.
ANALYSIS OF TRAVEL AGENCY BUSINESSES CONDITIONS

The first aim was to define the market of travel agencies in the Czech Republic. Then, one travel agency was chosen and was found, what products are offered, at what price and whom. Next was found, in which way it offers its products and attracts potential customers to buy its products. Following found out trends in tourist trade, some improvement for higher quality of production and higher competitive strength were proposed. One of the improvement proposals was to place more information about destinations and photos on the Internet to consumers have more information about what they buy. Photos should be added to printed catalogs. To have more consumers, travel agency should target the vacation packages in Italy and Croatia and give reductions in price for children up to age 15 years. And because the population becomes much more older, the travel agency could offer vacation packages for pensioners with recreational activities. Customers go back to the travel agency Prácheň and so it would be good to give them 10% reduction in price for the next tour.
International Marketing Strategy Proposal of the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with propose of adjustments in international marketing strategy. The aim of the diploma thesis is to make a proposal of a new regular flights from the international Brno Airport. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts, theoretical, analysis of the current state and proposal. The first part presents a theoretical background summarizing the knowledges obtained from literature. The following section characterizes the current situation of the airport, analyses are made, and the results of my own research are presented. Based on the results of analytical part, there is created a proposal for new scheduled flights.
The Importance of Tourism Industry on the Example of Bavaria: Economic Potential and State Subsidies

This bachelor thesis deals with the tourist industry in the Free State of Bavaria. The text focuses on the importance of the tourist industry on Bavarian economy. The role of state subsidies is discussed too. Bavaria is often called the number one tourist destination in Germany. This state of the Federal Republic of Germany ranks among popular year-round tourists destination thanks to the variety of tourist attractions and wide range of tourist services. The official marketing platform of Bavarian tourism is represented by Bayern Tourism Marketing GmbH. This agency is supported by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology. The agency creates various concepts and product lines which specialize in meeting the concrete demands of various tourists - families with children, seniors and students. Bavarian tourism constitutes an important part of the Bavarian economy besides other things over 500,000 people is employed there. In 2010, Bavaria welcomed 28 million tourists. Nowadays, tourist industry is influenced by globalization, environmental changes and increasing average age of population.
Sport tourism in regional development

Title: Sport Tourism and its Influence on Development of Regions Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to introduce the sport tourism as a convenient tool for the regional development, to find out if the regions think about it in this way nowadays and how the sport tourism is incorporated in the strategic documents if so. The finding if the sport tourism is considered as a separate branch or if it is still divided into sport and tourism industry is also remarkable. This thesis sets the target to outline the different ways of the sport tourism application in a regional development and to determine certain recommendations as well. Methods: The methods used at research are qualitative content analysis and semi- structured interview. The analysis is used for the strategic documents of regions and the interviews are held with the regional representatives and the private institution agents chosen by a snowball sampling. Subsequently, a holistic analysis and an interpretation of discovered results are made. Results: I have revealed that sport and tourism are both part of the strategic documents of the regions, but no region uses the term 'sport tourism' in these documents. The Links between Various Providers of Tourism in the Western Šumava

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the links between various providers of tourism in the locality of Western Šumava. The research is focused on municipalities and selected entities operating in the Šumava National Park, the aim of this work being to evaluate the level of destination management based on cooperation between municipalities or between municipalities and individual actors in tourism. Destination management in the defined area is characterized in more detail by analyzing the activities of individual actors in tourism. This thesis evaluates the influence of provider activity, administrative boundaries, geographical distance and organizational structure on the origins and function of destination management. Levels of cooperation are analyzed by using a questionnaire survey. The result of the work is an evaluation of the importance of various providers based on their degree of inter-cooperation and a proposal for future streamlining the process of destination management for current and emerging destination companies in the western part of the Šumava.
