Financial analysis of the company ROSSMANN, spol. s r. o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out a financial analysis of the company ROSSMANN, spol. s r. o. for the period 2011-2015, compare selected financial indicators with a competing company, evaluate its financial health and subsequently provide recommendations for financial management. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is methodological, where the various methods and indicators of financial analysis, which are subsequently applied in the second part of the thesis, are theoretically presented. The second part, practical part consists of the financial analysis of the company ROSSMANN, spol. s r. o. This part contains horizontal and vertical analysis, calculations of financial ratios and bankruptcy and creditworthy models. In the course of the thesis the selected ratios and bankruptcy and creditworthy models are also compared with the competing company Teta drogerie a lékárny ČR, s. r. o. The practical part ends with the SWOT analysis, followed by a conclusion summarizing the results of the financial analysis and possible recommendations for future financial management.

This bachelor thesis analyses a financial situation of the company in the period 2011-2015. The first part of this thesis represents the methodical introduction. It describes methods, ratio indicators and models which are subsequently used for the practical part of this thesis. In the second part the analysed company is introduced and stated methods are applied on the data of the company. Selected ratio indicators are compared with competitor company for better explanatory power. The final part evaluates the financial health of the company and outline recommendations for its future financial management.

Bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis of the company Dermacol a. s. for years 2011 until 2015. The aim of the thesis is to determine financial health and evaluate financial situation of the chosen company. The main sources of information are primarily published financial statements and annual reports. Whole thesis is divided into two parts. Methodical part focuses on defining selected methods, models and financial indicators, which are later applied to the selected company. It involves horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements, interpretation of calculated indicators and prediction of financial stringency with the help of creditworthy and bankruptcy models.

Part of this bachelor thesis is finding and comprehensive assessment of the financial health of Emirates Airlines by using tools and methods of financial analysis. The financial analysis is based on company's consolidated financial statements for the period 2011-2015. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the concept of financial analysis as well as the individual methods and indicators that are necessary for its compilation. At the beginning of the practical part, Emirates Airlines is being represented and the methods that were described in the theoretical part are being used. The rest of the practical part includes creditworthy and bankruptcy models that will assess to financial health of the business. In the conclusion of the bachelor thesis key information obtained from the financial analysis are summarized and evaluation of the overall financial situation of Emirates Airlines is described.

Financial management of Strakonice Hospital: part of the holding of South Bohemian Hospitals

The aim of the Master's Thesis is to determine the rank of hospitals belonging to the holding company Jihočeské nemocnice, a.s, from the economic viewpoint. Primarily, the ranking of Nemocnice Strakonice, a. s., in comparison with other hospitals is taken into account. It is necessary to accomplish two partial goals to accomplish the main aim. The first partial goal is the evaluation of financial health of a given hospital from 2007 to 2014. The basic financial analysis indicators are used to accomplish this goal. The development of these indicators is tracked in time. Moreover, Bankruptcy and Creditworthy models for financial health assessment are applied in the thesis. The second partial goal is to compare the given hospital with the other hospitals within the holding company through intercompany comparison methods. The result of these methods will be the determination of rank of the individual hospitals from 2007 to 2014.

The Bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The first part is focused on theoretical explanation of financial analysis. It informs readers about commonly used methods. It describes individual indicators, so that user can understand its meaning. In the second part (practical) is declared knowledge applied on the real data from financial statements. A description and philosophy of the selected company is part of this section too. From ending findings are deducted conclusions which are demonstrated on graphs and in charts. Last of all is summarized process of the financial analysis. There is also place for evaluation of final results and assessment about its financial health.

The sources of information are published financial statements for the period 2010 to 2015. The aim of the thesis is to determinate the financial health and to evaluate the overall financial situation of this company. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the methods and defines selected financial indicators. The practical part deals with the methods described above to the selected company. Above all these are vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements of the company. In this part, there are also calculated and interpreted values described financial indicators. It includes selected creditworthy and bankruptcy models which along with other matters identified to evaluate the financial condition and stability of the company.

This diploma thesis is focused on the financial health of the company, whose business is based on distribution of racing class ships all over the world. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to propose ways to improve it. At first, the thesis deals with the theoretical basis of the company's economic analysis. Then these theoretical starting points for the company are practically applied. Consequently, according to the results, the economic situation of the company is interpreted and measures have been proposed to ensure a positive financial condition of the analyzed company.
