The interwar history of the association baráčníci in Týn nad Vltavou
MARŠÍKOVÁ, Šárka
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the interest social association of the Baráčnická community in Týn nad Vltavou. The aim is to briefly describe the history of the association, its formation, the first years of operation and to focus on its association activities in the period between 1918 and 1938. The activity of the association in Týn nad Vltavou is very strongly connected with the activities of other baráčnická communities in Czechoslovakia at that time. In the first part I deal with similar associations in the ČSR after 1918 and focus mainly on their national and patriotic mission. I direct the second part of the work to the association in Týn nad Vltavou and also to the meritorious member and chronicler of the Týn´s community, Mr. Jeník Švehla. At the end of the work I summarize the development of the Baráčnická communities not only in Týn nad Vltavou. Based on the findings I outline further direction of this association.
Aktivity a participace spolků na rozvoji území Znojemska
Spoustová, Natalie
Spoustová, N. Activities and participation of associations in the development of the territory of Znojmo region. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2022. The thesis deals with the role of selected associations in the development of the Znojmo region. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic terms and theoretical anchoring dealing with participation in the development of the territory, which are specifically focused on endogenous development of the territory. These include regional development issues, regional policy, a description of development strategies and programmes, and the tools used to develop the territory. Furthermore, this part contains the possibilities of participation of the residents in the development of the territory, the most important of which is the participation of the residents in the form of the formation of associations. The practical part consists of an introduction of the area of interest of the Znojmo region and a literature review capturing the activities of associations in the development of the area. Based on the conducted interviews, cooperation with the center of the region (the city of Znojmo) and the role of selected associations in the development of the Znojmo region were subsequently evaluated.
Forms of volunteer roles and their reference groups
Nollová, Michaela ; Pospíšilová, Tereza (advisor) ; Frič, Pavol (referee)
The thesis is about volunteering in connection with reference groups of volunteers. It describes and analyses the volunteering of eight volunteers involved in the selected association. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, it defines basic terms, theories and concepts important for the research. The second, empirical part of the thesis, presents the methodology and deals with the conducted qualitative research through in-depth interviews with formal volunteers. The thesis aims to describe and understand how volunteers create their volunteer roles and to which reference groups they relate. The form of volunteer roles in this organization is influenced especially by the regularity and intensity of volunteer's activities. During the analysis, two main forms of the volunteer role were profiled from the researched data. Volunteers from one group consider their activity as help and they relate to the organization's clients. Volunteers from the second group relate to other volunteers and the activity is mainly fun for them.
The formation and incorporation of an association
KOLOMAZNÍKOVÁ, Tereza
The concept of association was brought back to the Czech Law by Act No. 89/2012 Coll, the Civil Code, replacing an unincorporated association. This new form of association deserves attention not only from the legal point of view, but also from anaccounting perspective. One can hardly exist without the other in a working association; therefore formation, an incorporation, changes and dissolution of an association and a subsidiary association from legal, administrative, accounting and tax points of view are presented. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the reasons for the adoption of new legislation on associations in the Civil Code are described aswell as the differences between unincorporated associations and associations. The practical part focuses on both legal and accounting aspects of the formation, incorporation and dissolution of an association. This section also tries to answer the question when it is more convenient for an association to keep simple bookkeeping and when double-entry book-keeping.
Self-assemblies based on hydrophilic polymers in aqueous media
Fanova, Anastasiia ; Štěpánek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pánek, Jiří (referee) ; Angelov, Borislav (referee)
This doctoral thesis is devoted to investigation of self-assemblies based on hydrophilic polymers (both homopolymers and block copolymers) in aqueous media. Specifically, we focused on two classes of systems: (i) hydrophilic polymers whose self-assembly in aqueous solutions is driven by association of terminal hydrophobic groups and (ii) double hydrophilic block polyelectrolytes whose self-assembly occurs via electrostatic complexation of polyelectrolyte blocks. For characterization of formed assemblies, we mostly used different scattering techniques (light scattering, small-angle X-ray scattering) in a combination with a number of supplementary methods including microscopy, fluorometry and calorimetry. Keywords: hydrophilic polymers, block copolymers, association, self-assembly, micelles, scattering

Role of civic organizations in the life of small municipalities
Kubásek, Pavel ; Slepičková, Irena (advisor) ; Novotný, Jiří (referee)
Title: The role of the civic organizations in the life of the small municipalities Objectives: The main objective is to evaluate the relationship between civil society organizations and representatives of public administration in terms of their common aspiration to build cohesion in the former Association of Municipalities Neveklovsko. Defunct micro-region is also subject to consideration of future similar institutions. Methods: This multi-case study is based on analysis of data collected in selected community association Neveklovsko. The project will also draw information from public printed materials. This project will be based on semi-structured interviews with the mayors of municipalities and chosen representatives of civic associations. Results: We found that all municipalities of examined micro-region realize the importance and interest groups in the villages. Municipalities are trying to make these voluntary organizations to promote and ensure better social life of the inhabitants. Recently, the municipalities of the former micro-region worked together again in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the eviction of Neveklovsko. Recreating of micro-region is not in a sight. Any municipalities do not agree with the financing and therefore they have no further interest in this integration....
Preparation and characterization of nanoparticles formed by polymer-surfactant complexes
Dvořák, Filip ; Štěpánek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Netopilík, Miloš (referee)
In this work, copolymers of celulose-g-polystyrene (cel-PS) and celulose-g- poly(methylmetacrylate) (cel-PMMA) were characterized using static and dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy. Preparation of nanoparticles of these hydrophobic copolymers in aqueous solution was further studied, by means of precipitation from dioxane solutions using water with added low-molar-mass surfactants sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) and dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (DTMAB). It was shown that the ability of the surfactants to stabilize polymer nanoparticles is driven not only by the hydrophobic effect, but it depends also on specific interactions of the polar group of the surfactant with the surface of the nanoparticles. On the basis of the finding that the efficiency of stabilization of cel-PS copolymers is much higher than in case of linear PS, it can be concluded, that the branched structure of copolymers is favorable for the formation of hydrofobically stabilised polymer-surfactant complexes.
