Second home in Třeboň area as the first stage for amenity migration
KADLEC, Lukáš
The diploma thesis deals with two contemporary phenomena, second home and amenity migration. These phenomena often overlap in the conditions of the Czech Republic, so it is difficult to find a clear border between them. Second home can be understood as a complex of phenomena and processes related to a real estate, which serves as a temporary residency for its owner or user, who uses this real estate especially for recreation purposes. Amenity migration can be defined as a migration of inhabitants with the aim to achieve a better quality of life, better health, relaxation or potentially entertainment as well. It concerns migration of people for non-economic reasons and the direction of amenity migration is predominantly from cities to the countryside. Unlike second home, it is not any form of a temporary residency, but a permanent accommodation. The main goal of the diploma thesis was to explore the phenomenon of second home in the region of Třeboňsko and to evaluate its potential for amenity migration. The goal of the work was realised on the basis of an analysis of the data of the Czech Statistical Office and the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre, by means of both field research and a questionnaire survey with the subsequent evaluation.
The business plan of catering facility for cycle tourists

The main target of this thesis is to draft a business plan for catering facility Bistro u Kapra, by analyzing the market conditions, the internal business envi-ronment and the elaboration of the complete documentation with regard to the target group, the cycle tourists. The aim is to build on the successful history of the family business, to draft a new conception in reaction on the actual situation by using the per-sonal know-how of the environment as well as to use the findings from the bachelor thesis of the author, so that the business plan can be realized in the future.
Effect of ponds and pond systems on the composition of the benthos in horní Lužnice
SVAČINA, Petr
The work is focused on monitoring changes in benthic communities in the longitudinal gradient of the river Lužnice. The river flows through to the pond area Třeboňsko and the largest pond of the Czech Republic - Rožmberk. It is examine affect of pond on benthic communities. The work involves collecting benthos according to the PERLA method on four profile in four seasons, the analysis of chemical parameters and data processing. The values of SI (saprobiological index) in the longitudinal gradient were from SI 1.8 to SI 2.6. SI values were at the outflow of Rožmberk higher than at inflow. The lowest values were in the first profile Suchdol (SI 1,8 ? SI 2,1) and higher values were in the last profile Vlkov (SI 2,4 ? 2,6). The chemical parameters at outflow were observed increased values of BOD5, TOC, NL105, NL505, chlorophyll and total P but lower values of nitrogen forms (Ntotal,NH4, N-NO3-). On the each profile was the significant change in the incidence or absence of certain groups. Profiles Suchdol and Hlína were diferent than Lužnice and Vlkov especially in the presence of stoneflies, dragonflies, beetles, and individuals generally indicates good water quality. Profiles at outflows from Rožmberk (Lužnice and Vlkov) showed a continued presence of bloodsuckers and more species indicating high organic pollution. NMDS method confirmed impact of sites in communities rather than period (R2 = 0.6 at significance level of p = 0.001).
Effect of simulated eutrophication on primary production of a marginal wetland
TOUPAL, Michal
This Bc. Thesis is part of Project of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic No. 526/09/1546 entitled ?Importance of newly assimilated carbon for the plant-soil interactions in wet grassland ecosystems in varying environmental conditions?. The aim of the thesis is to estimate the abovground production of a graminoid wetland stand in the Nature reserve Záblatské louky in the Třeboň Basin Protected Landscape and Biosphere Reserve. The work also includes assessment of the effect of several years of fertilization on the plant species composition and the aboveground biomass. The aboveground biomass was sampled at three sampling dates in 2012. A total of 24 samples was taken at each sampling date on plots receiving different levels of fertilizer. The treatments included a high degree of fertilization, an intermediate degree of fertilization and no fertilizer addition. The samples were taken from quadrats of 0,5 x 0,25 m. The biomass values were then expressed per a unit area (1 m2). The highest average values of total aboveground biomass (521,56 g.m-2) were found for non-fertilized plots. Unfertilized plots reached an average value of total aboveground biomass of 480,37 g.m-2. The lowest average value of total aboveground biomass (434,85 g.m-2) was found for the treatment receiving high fertilization. The highest average value of aboveground biomass (652,15 g.m-2) was found for unfertilized plots on the 3rd sampling date. The results showed a statistically significant effect of fertilization on the biomass of Eriophorum angustifolium and mosses.
The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Třeboň region
NEDVĚD, Petr
The main aim of this diploma thesis was to work out a feasibility study. This work was defined by the tourism located in the Trebon area. Next important aims were the opportunity identification at the tourism market in the Trebon area, the determination of the right technical and funded protection of this project and finally the definition of the financial side of the project. The market tourism opportunities in Trebon area were determined by a market exploration which was provided by the questionnaire from my bachelor thesis. I defined the best product of the tourism market which was based on the analyses. By that product, it was the service in sightseeing flight in a hot air balloon. There are some options of the funding. For my project it could be a grant from the South Bohemia region for small and medium business or the grant from the Southwest Regional Operational Program NUTS II in session 2007 ? 2013. Next possibility could be the cooperation with the sponsors.

Turnover of aboveground biomass of the dominant of a sedge fen
MEJDOVÁ, Markéta
Annotation This thesis is part of Project of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic No. P504/11/1151 (Role of plants in the greenhouse gas budget of a sedge fen) aims at estimating the turnover of aboveground biomass of Carex acuta L. in a flooded part of the Wet Meadows near Třeboň. The biomass turnover was estimated using both destructive and non-destructive types of measurement and was assessed separately for generative and vegetative tillers, which markedly differ in their life cycles. Vegetative tillers last throughout the vegetation season. Generative tillers have a fast development at the beginning of the vegetatin season but die out soon after seed development. They disapper from the stand in mid-July. Vegetative shoots reached their maximum aboveground biomass at the end of June. The average dry weight of all leaves produced so far was 1,51 g per tiller and the average dry weight of all aboveground biomass produced per tiller was 2,28 g. The turnover coefficient was 1,39 year-1 and 1,01 year-1 for leaves and whole tillers, respectively. Also generative shoots reached their maximum aboveground biomass at the end of June. The average dry weight of aboveground biomass produced so far was 1,95 g per tiller. The turnover coefficient was 1, 38 year-1and 1,10 year-1.
