The Study of the Operating Production Management
Šolc, Jakub ; Kudlík, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The subject of master’s thesis "The study of the operating production management” is to rationalize production and distribution of compressed air. The thesis deals with the description of the current state, the analysis of compressed air production and the proposal for rationalization. The basis of this work is to implement lean manufacturing method in the company DI Industrial. The proposed steps are primarily designed for implementation in this firm but their principles and methods could be used in any company that uses compressed air technology. The study includes theoretical knowledge in the range of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools and a pneumatics.
Modification of material production flow of the sewing machine needles
Změlík, Josef ; Macháč, Patrik (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Main focus of this diploma thesis is the analysis and subsequent modification of production flow at a company, which is one of the world’s leading providers of industrial needles, precision parts and fine tools. Practical part of this thesis is devoted to the current flow of values and consequently describes its individual modifications. In this part the production areas are mapped, and the material handling system is described. This part also suggests a possible layout modification at the production site and simulation of proposed changes in Plant Simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. At the end of the work there are changes described that relate mainly to the philosophy 5S, kanban system or ergonomics of the workplace.
The Study Efficiency of Utilization of Selected Machines in Operation
Khachatryan, David ; Horký, Martin (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with examination of the efficiency of the use of the selected machine in the company HARTMANN – RICO, and presents proposals of its increase through lean production methods. The introductory section offers a description of the company's business activities. The theoretical part summarizes the most important findings and methods of lean production. The analytical part examines the machine in terms of production process and subsequently offers an analysis of the current state conducted in order to find bottlenecks in production. The practical part presents proposals of lean production methods implementation with the purpose of increasing the efficiency of the machine.
The Study of Effectiveness of the Use of Machines in the Selected Operation
Strnad, Miroslav ; Sládek, Radim (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
Master thesis is focused on the study of effectiveness of selected machines in the company through indicators of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. The aim is to increase productivity of machinery by monitoring machine run. Analyses are performed on selected machines which are found out downtimes reducing machine run. Methods and tools of lean manufacturing are used for determine downtimes as a core part. Specifically, the implementation of the first phase of TPM – “Total Productive Maintenance” which is used in manufacturing, for determine current status of machines. Maintenance of machinery is also referred in the master thesis as important part of Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Individual factors of OEE are identified as a result of these analyses which are directly affected to productivity of machines. The output of these analyses is to design countermeasures against each downtime and system design of monitoring tools including technical and economical evaluation. Machine monitoring with automatic data collection based on calculated data is suitable option for the company.
Optimization of the Production Process using Prediction Simulation
Pechánek, David ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor's work looks at analysing the current form of the manufacturing process and proposing to improve it using predictive simulation. The theoretical part of the work describes the basic concepts associated with the organisation's procedural management. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the production processes and methodology of simulation projects associated with the creation of the process's digital twin. In the analysis section, the production business is first presented and a global process analysis is carried out. A specific production process, which will be optimised is then analysed here. The design section describes simulation models of the current and proposed form of the process and evaluates the benefits of the proposed solution.
Optimization of Production Processes
Baláž, Branislav ; Rompotl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of production processes taking place in the manufacturing company IAC Group Slovakia. The work includes a presentation of the company and an analysis of the current state of production processes taking place in the company. The theoretical part of the work describes the methods of lean manufacturing, basic concepts associated with the process management of the organization. In the analytical part, the manufacturing company is first introduced and a global analysis of processes is performed. Then a specific production process is analyzed, which will be optimized. The proposed part shows the proposed part of the process and there are evaluated the benefits of the proposed solution.
The Study of Operational Production Management in Selected Firm
Švásta, Petr ; Košík, Ľubomír (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with the operational management of production in the selected section of the company. In the theoretical part explains the concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System, Kaizen, Productivity and related terms. Introduction The practical part of the thesis describes the production program production system and the organization of the production process in a selected section of the company. The next section is an analysis of workplace policy and pre-assembly lines. Followed by an analysis of work and identifying current shortcomings. The next section are designed to improve a specific solution of identified problems. The last part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of implemented improvements and their benefits.
Study of the Introduction of Lean Manufacturing Based on Cooperation with Supply Chains
Karpov, Daniel ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the improvement of production processes according to the principles of lean production. It is divided into three parts, theoretical, analytical and proposal. The theoretical part describes the methodologies and procedures by which processes can be analyzed and further improved. In the analytical part, the company Gebauer and Griller, s.r.o. is first introduced with its production system. This system is analyzed after that and its shortcomings are revealed. In the proposal part, there is the concept of making changes, the implementation of which will solve those shortcomings, and its economic evaluation.
