As it was evoluting from its lauching until today production. It is focused on the materials, technologies, social and moral infuences which is very important for the resulting design and gradual differences of the funcional chair types. The special attention is paid on the contemporary design and the non-traditional materials influence. It contains my own chair design project and the use of the observations during lessons of art. Interior Design of a Café

The thesis deals with the reconstruction of the café in a historic building on Svoboda Square in Mohelnice. To the revitalized interior, dominated by brick vault was introduced a new and fresh design. The café has two basic spaces. In the first lighter room is located bar and a few tables with long benches and chairs. The back room features a private sitting area overlooking the atrium of the building. Simple shapes and natural materials create contrast with the historic vault. Use indirect lighting is achieved pleasant and intimate atmosphere. An essential element of the interior is a custom made chair that their morphology fit into the concept of the café.

The topic of this graduation thesis is chair design. The thesis is split into theoretical and practical part. Firstly, the general examination of the history of sitting and the evolution of chair design is carried out via literature recherché. This search advances in current and prospective trends in chair design and its manufacture. The last theoretical chapter is focused on anthropometric, ergonomic, constructional, and safety requirements. Simultaneously, this chapter serves as a stepping stone for the practical part the goal of which is to fabricate a chair prototype. The design process goes through individual phases of creative work, inspirations, sketching, choosing the best solution, making of a 1:2 scale model, 3D visualization, and lastly realization of a prototype chair. The work concludes with discussion and critical assessment of the prototype.

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and construction of wooden chairs. The work has both theoretical and practical parts, which are divided into main chapters and subchapters. The first part focuses on the main classifications of chairs: according to their geometrical parameters, moulded seats and backrests. Further research considers historical styles, from the second half of the nineteenth century to the present. General requirements, as well as those of safety, ergonomics and anthropometry are given in the next chapter. The second part deals with designing a new chair. Findings from the first part are applied at the drafting stage. Current requirements and aesthetic considerations are taken into account. The final designs chosen were then turned into technical drawings and visualizations.

The aim of this thesis is a structural design of demountable chair used in public interior. The text is divided into three parts - theoretical, structural and design of chair. The first part is focused on history of seating furniture, ergonomy of chairs and a description of chairs. The second part contains of an analysis of the technical standards required for seats in non-residential premises, an overview of materials and design solutions of chairs. In conclusion, there is a particular proposal which contains visualizations and drawings, list of materials and determining material costs.

The main task of the thesis is to design seating placed in outer space. The work is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part deals with general seating and its history, public interiors and an overview of competing products. The practical part directly addresses the issue of the draft sciatic element suitable for the public interior serving as a multifunctional seating for humans and parking space for bicycle. At the beginning of processed current research trends in the field of multifunctional seating elements. Proposals are made in the initial phase in the form of sketches and further supplemented by appropriate visualization and variants. The main idea of the design consists of the creation account, which connects the seat of a bicycle parking space.
