The availability of health care in the Usti Region (particularly in the district of Louny)

The Bachelor thesis is focused on the economics of health. It mainly deals with economic factors, determinated by the availability of health care. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the availability of health care in the Usti Region, particularly in the district of Louny. This objective was achieved by processing the data supplied by the Czech Statistical Office and Health Statistics Yearbook of Usti Region. In my work I have used the methods of statistical analysis and comparison. Compared with the availability of health care in the Czech Republic, the situation is unsatisfactory in the Usti Region. Per physician higher than average number of inhabitants. After the dissolution of St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Louny, the availability of medical care within the district is one of the worst in the Czech Republic.

Crime Rates of Children and Adolescents in Teplice

Crime Rates of Children and Adolescents in Teplice Abstract Graduation theses is engaged in problems of the crime rates of children and adolescents intend on region of Teplice and comparation Ústí region with tendences in Čzech republic. In a theoretical part are firstly desribed the most important topics that are connected with this problem such as basis terms, legislature and kinds of provisions in case of commission of crime rates, typical traits of crime rates of children and adolescents, position of society and causes and varieties of criminality Based on the study of specialized literature there are three hypotheses that have been suggested: H1) The criminal activities of children and adolescents young people are in Teplice often than in The Czech republic. H2) The boys commite crimes more than girls. H3) The most common crime rate is computer criminality and illegal download. A research was Based on the analysis of datas provided by police statistics and self-report survey the structure and development of criminal activities of children and young people in two Czech regions was analysed. Inference is determined at the conclusion of this work.

Revitalization of Area Afflicted by Mining Shown on Ore Mountains Base Region Example

The thesis consists of several parts. The first one presents basic characteristics of the Usti Region emphasizing its weaknesses and strengths. Interregional and nationwide comparison is used for some indicators. The second part is devoted to mining as the industrial activity so typical for the Usti Region. Here, milestones of the region's mining history and the current operation of mining companies in the region are described, and major mining sites listed and briefly presented. The third part deals with explanation of the term of "restoration, existence of various forms of restoration, their financing or basic documents for them, and importance of post-mining revitalisation in the territory. The final part is devoted to application of revitalisation in the Usti Region. The objective of the thesis is to identify the overall economic cost for restoring the territory affected by mining in its maximum variant - complete exploitation of all the soft coal deposits occurring in the Usti Region territory.

Effectiveness of active labour policy stressing thr long-term policy in Usti region

I chose the topic of my bachelor's work because of quite a great share of long-term unemployed people in total unemployment in the Czech Republic. In theoretical part I am concentrating on the description of labour market, different kinds of unemployment and on the labour policy. In analytical part I am concentrating on the development and causes of long-term unemployment in Ústí nad Labem region, on the reasons of increase and fall of number of long-term unemployed people. I am describing the structure of job applicants according to their education, age, job classification. On the basis of these information I am finding out which brackets of people are the most participating in long-term unemployment. I also want to find out whether the measures taken in terms of active labour policy of the Czech Republic are a good way to help the long-term unemployed people return to work process, which programmes and projects are used in Ústí nad Labem region and whether they are effective. The aim of my bachelor's work is whether the active labour policy taken in Ústí nad Labem region contributes to the effective reduction of the number of long-term unemployed. On the basis of my conclusions I want to suggest other possible solutions in terms of active labour policy with emphasis on Ústí nad Labem region.
