Positioning System for Sound Intensity Probe
Sedlář, Pavel ; Kouřil, Jiří (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a development of a 2-dimensional positioning equipment for an acoustic measurement using modules of linear positioning axises MAXS1BR and PAS41BR and stepping motors ILS1R573PB1A0 by Schneider Electric. These motors include integrated power stage and interface RS485. An interface converter using integrated curcuit MAX232 by MAXIM for interconnection between these motors and a control computer was designed. The circuit of the converter was built and tested in a solderless breadboard at rst. Afterwards, a printed circuit board was developed using software EAGLE Layout Editor. This thesis also includes a documentation of mechanic parts, which are necessary to grip measuring appliances.
Construction of Azimuth Fork Mount
Dostál, Jan ; Matějka, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Purpose of this master´s thesis is the construction proposal of azimuth fork mount with load capacity to 20kg including both axes drives. The solution contains design options of azimuth fork mount, calculations, design proposal of the mount and drawings of the shaft, fork and the assembly.
Automotive Electric Motors Innovation
Šimko, František ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to explain the construction of motors in car technology. We can acquaint more with the construction of a DC electric motor. Then we will deal more with electric motor starters, an innovation of a DC electric motor or with its replacing for AC electric motor with other poles.
Control software for rotating table
Schelle, Igor ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis describes attributes of position mechanism. A part of this thesis is a program which drives the position table. There are described characteristic parameters of stepper motor.
3D dental scanner
Kotek, Lukáš ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Balogh, Jaroslav (advisor)
The general aim of my master´s thesis is to study the actual principles of 3D scanning, the anatomy of human teeth, use of 3D scanning in dentistry and other medical fields. Another part of this thesis is about software and hardware design of 3D scanning system, which enable us to scan dental casts. This design is using webcam, projector and turntable. The principle of scanning is based on the activ triangulation. The output of 3D scanner is a horde of spots, which are used for reconstruction of a surface. The reconstructed surface is finally saved as .stl format.
Control of Stepper Motors in Closed Loop System
Hořák, Jan ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design and optimization of algorithms for controlling stepper motors with feedback by measuring the BEMF. The emphasis was on self-management stepper motor current depending on the load. To verify the algorithm was designed and built sample devices with integrated circuit NCV70514 from ON Semiconductor. The result is a sample device, the control program and algorithm to control a stepper motor.
Electronics for Sewing Machine
Karásek, Josef ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Vychodil, Josef (advisor)
The main components of the system for embroidery sewing machine is (Veritas 8014/35-2) and pointing devices. The machine automatically entered embroidered patterns, it is necessary to construct a pointing device and its control. To drive the pointing device used two stepper motors, the control circuit to cater to the ATmega128. Communication between PC and ATmega128 provides converter FT232.
Small CNC machine
Moštěk, Jiří ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Záplata, Filip (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and construction of a three-axis CNC machine primarily designed for PCB drilling and production of front panels for various electronic devices. All three axes are driven by stepper motors NEMA 23 which are connected to stepper motor drivers L6470. Processor STM32F407 is used to control the whole machine. The wiring is completed by a LCD display with touchscreen which is used to communicate with user. Data for drilling can be entering manually or via USB inerface. Part of this thesis is the selection of a suitable construction and components, assembling equipment, wiring design of electronic circuits and writing the code to control the machine. Finally, the parameters of the designed device have been measured.
Design and realization of the pull strength measuring device for SMD
Valíček, Jan ; Klíma, Martin (referee) ; Otáhal, Alexandr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a device for measuring pull strength by surface mounted devices (SMD). It analyzes the theory of pull strength testing of solder joints with emphasis on standard IEC 62137-1-3 and describes the selection of components utilized to create mechanical construction and electrical parts. These electronic parts made or innovated in this work were control system based on microcontroler Atmega164P, power circuit for stepper motor and communication of measure equipment TEST 321 with PC. The whole design is complemented by simulation of mechanical stress to the critical components using ANSYS. The conclusion summarizes the most important parameters of this equipment.
CNC milling machine driving interface
Mitáš, Daniel ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
This project deals with portal-type CNC milling machine design and construction. CNC milling machine should be able to machining light metals and alloys. This document contains description of mechanical components selection, machine frame design and building, design and construction of USB motion control unit and also contains control software description and user manual.
