Push Out Test: Numerical Study of the Influence of Concrete Part Width on Load Test
Holušová, Táňa ; Klusák, Jan ; Seitl, Stanislav
The concrete and steel are often performed by mechanical connectors, which are resistant against shear load. These connectors can be subjected to adverse effect, which is high concentration level of tension in connectors or their tendency to corrosion. By using bonded joint such as an epoxy layer gritted by granulates it is possible to avoid these negative effects. The aim of the contribution is to show the influence of the various concrete block widths on values of the maximum load. The modelling was performed by 2D software ATENA (Červenka Consulting)

Press that serves the public? Survey of journals published by Prague's municipalities
Písačková, Kateřina ; Hájek, Roman (advisor) ; Krobová, Tereza (referee)
This master thesis deals with the phenomenon of journals published by local municipalities, defined in a recent amendment to the Press Act in the legal order of the Czech Republic as "journals of territorial administrative units". According to the press law the purpose of these journals is to deliver information about the self- governing unit while providing adequate space for presenting opinions and views of all ideological spectrum of the local council. These journals were recently criticized for being abused by the ruling political representation and being misused as a form of political PR rather than an independent news platform. My research is focused on their gradual professionalization that was recently encouraged by the changes in the Czech law. The research is based on a survey of editors of these journals. In the survey I investigated the background of the content production of these journals, various aspects of their organization, details about staff editors and their reflection on the topic, as well as control mechanisms that are set to ensure the statutory requirements of objectivity and impartiality. In addition to the survey, I also present a brief case study of the Hobulet magazine, published in the Prague 7 district, which is considered to be a progressive example of the genre. The...

Removal of polyurea spray coatings from the surface of cement concrete by water jet technology
Ščučka, Jiří ; Bódi, Z. ; Hlaváček, Petr ; Klich, Jiří ; Martinec, Petr ; Foldyna, Josef
The paper is focused on the removal of polyurea spray coatings from the surface of cement concrete by the water jet technology. A series of experiments was conducted to disintegrate a defined polyurea spray coat layer on the surface of cement concrete tiles using different configurations of the water jet system. The results of these experiments have confirmed that the continuous water jet was highly effective in removing the spray coat, causing no damage to the concrete substrate underneath. The partial experimental results have also indicated that this process can be used to produce an anti-skid finish on polyurea spray coatings applied onto horizontal structures.

Apartment block valuation
Smolek, Vít ; Heřman, Jan (advisor) ; Vosejpka, Jaroslav (referee)
The thesis sets the market value of particular real estate -- an apartment block - through the cost, yield and comparative ways. Moreover, the value set through the administrative way is presented. Further, the resulting values are compared. The terms, procedures and methods of valuation are described in the theoretical part of the thesis.

Regional development and the territorial protection of rural architecture complexes in villages in Jindřichův Hradec and Znojmo districts.
ŠEBÁKOVÁ, Alice
The purpose of this thesis is to verify the effects of care of historical monuments and inhabitant´s sentiments, local government and the state administration to these questions and its effects on development of selected places. The result of this thesis is to propose a remedy for further development of studied territories of these regions.

Full-electronic application in the Czech Republic
Bělíková, Lucie ; Lechner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pěkná, Jitka (referee)
The theme of this work is the real possibility of introducing the electronic-only submission in the Czech Republic, concretely the following use of the services of the public administration contact places, the so calles Czech POINTs. In the first part are discussed the tools of the e-government and the possibilities of the electronic submission in the Czech Republic. In the next part are analyzed the services provided by the contact places Czech POINT, including my own investigation. The main analysis of this work is the evaluation of the awareness about the Czech POINT services and their use, especially the submission in the trade licencing register.

CTA Measurement of Longitudinal Velocity Fluctuation and ITS Spectra in Thermal Convection Atmosphere and Lee-Wawe Condition Using Sailplane in-Flight Experiment
Popelka, Lukáš ; Matějka, Milan ; Zelený, L. ; Uruba, Václav
Two typical environments of large scale turbulent mixing in lower troposphere section were studied using sailplane in-flight experiment. Key properties, such as intensity and spectra were measured, indicating vortices decay into the smaller scales. In both cases, identified spectra extend above 1 kHz, hence containing disturbances capable to influence transition of laminar boundary layer to turbulence on sailplane (aircraft) wing.

Lift-Off technique using different e-beam writers
Chlumská, Jana ; Kolařík, Vladimír ; Krátký, Stanislav ; Matějka, Milan ; Urbánek, Michal ; Horáček, Miroslav
This paper deals with lift–off technique performed by the way of electron beam lithography. Lift–off is a technique mainly used for preparation of metallic patterns and unlike etching it is an additive technique using a sacrificial material – e.g. e–beam resist PMMA. In this paper we discussed technique of preparation of lift–off mask on two different e–beam writing systems. The first system was BS600 – e–beam writer with rectangular variable shaped beam working with 15keV. The second system was Vistec EBPG5000+ HR – e–beam writer with Gaussian shape beam working with 50 keV and 100 keV. The PMMA resist single layer and bi–layer was used for the lift–off mask preparation. As a material for creation of metallic pattern, magnetron sputtered chromium was used. Atomic force microscope, scanning electron microscope and contact profilometer were used to measure and evaluate the results of this process.

Research on effects of pulsating water jets on concrete
Sitek, Libor ; Bodnárová, L.
An article briefly presents results achieved during laboratory and in-situ tests of removing surface layers of concrete exposed to various environments using several types of high-velocity water jets commonly used in the rehabilitation praxis or advanced water jets the use of which is expected in the near future. The effects of pulsating jets were always compared with classical continuous jets under identical or similar working conditions.
