Digitalization and Visualization of J. A. Comenius' Correspondence (1592-1670)
Lelková, Iva
The project of digitizing and visualization of Jan Amos Comenius' (1592-1670) correspondence is an outcome of an international collaboration among the Department for Comenius Studies and Early Modern Intellectual History of the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Cultures of Knowledge project of the University of Oxford. An online database of Comenius' letters was created within the online union catalogue of early modern scholarly correspondence called the Early Modern Letters Online (EMLO) and outstandingly rich metadata were used for visualizations and analysis of the Comenius' correspondence. The researchers used free visualization web-based platform Palladio developed by the Stanford University. Visualization and data analysis not only facilitated to visualize previously known tendencies and facts but also helped to discover new and unknown moments which led to further study.

The first part focuses on the theoretical plane of Cloud Computing, where the basic concepts and limitations are defined and from which I will result my thesis. The second part is divided into four chapters. In the first subsection the ERP systems are compared, which are offered as a free version or as an Open Source suitable for use on Cloud Computing platform. In the second subsection the CRM systems are compared as a separate applications offered online as SaaS . The third section is devoted to the market research, which is focused on attitude and use of Cloud Computing applications in small and medium-sized companies . The final section offers the recommendations for MSP in the transition to Cloud Computing.

Issues Of Community Financing In The Czech Republic
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Vozárová, Pavla (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
This thesis is focused on issues of community financing, also known as crowdfunding, that is at present a popular form of obtaining financial resources to different projects. In my thesis, I explore a data set of 150 observations of individual projects from the platform HitHit, which operates in the Czech republic. The empirical part reveales the influence of different factors on the success of a crowdfunding campaign. Some of the significant factors are different ways of spreading informations (web pages, social networks or television broadcast), variability in offered rewards, aspects of the video on the platform, local restrictions, demanded amount of money, but also the length of a project description. The main contribution is the revelation and explanation of some factors and the use of econometric models in Czech crowdfunding scene.

Procházka, Miloš ; Pauknerová, Monika (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee)
In this work I will define the subject and the scope of the area of financial derivatives law and cover the main intenational treaties concerning transactions involving financial derivatives. I also provide a survey to the master agreements which arise from this area and are made by the very participants of the derivatives transactions. First I focus on defining the concept of financial derivatives. I take a brief look into history, which is essential for general understanding of the subject. I examine the Vienna Convention of International Sales of Goods and its connection to financial derivatives, focusing on the scope of its application, particularly with regards to commodity derivatives which are settled by physical delivery. I am going to clarify if Vienna Convention of International Sales of Goods does or does not apply to financial instruments other than physically settled commodity derivatives because it is not within the intended scope of the Vienna Convention which is implying the Article 2(d) that it should apply to financial instruments other than the physically settled commodity derivatives which can be covered by the definition of goods under the Vienna Convention. This matter is investigated thoroughly in this work. Second I examine another international treaty the Hague Securities...

Using high-pressure hydrolysis process with sulfuric acid to produce biogas from wheat straw
HŮRKOVÁ, Drahomíra
The presented dissertation assesses the technological and economical use of high-pressure hydrolysis of wheat straw with sulfuric acid (H2SO4) for biogas producing. The theoretical part is focusing to the structure of lignocellulosis phytomass, on technology of mechanical treatment and acid hydrolysis. The experimental part is based on the production of neutralized hydrolyzate obtained by using technology of high-pressure hydrolyse by pressure 1,5 MPa, in retention time of 500 seconds and 190 °C. Data, generated by operation server Linode Platform Manager, emerges, that the area with the best polynormal cubic function, which is aproximated by the smallest mistake. The local extremes, where are the verification of the cumulative CH4 by anaerobic fermentation (in thermophilic area by temperature 51 °C) in relation on dry matter, are calculated of tha data obtained of Maple 14. The highest yeld of CH4 production was found by pressure of high-pressure hydrolyser 2,37 MPa. The maximum value of production of biogas (CH4) was 190 m3. t-1 of dry phytomass. Based on the optimalization, was maximum yeld of CH4 (of biochemical aspects) found about dry matter 8,57 % and pH 4,84. From the managerial point of view, which takes into account technological limitations and financial indicator, are the optimal conditions by dry matter from 3,92 to 5,12 % and a pH of 3,2 to 5,1.
