Sports center in Hradec Králové. The Sports center area accommodates various sport opportunities such as: squash, fitness area, climbing wall, sauna, massages and a possibility for other activities. The Sports center also includes refreshments – a with summer garden overlooking the grounds. It is two stories high, climbing wall is three stories high and squash is 1,5 m below the ground made with brick system Heluz with flat roof. There is a comfort for the visitors thanks to the air-conditioning in the object.
The savings in heating buildings
Rokůsek, Petr ; Hořínková, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This thesis theoretically in Part A deals with the solution in savings heating building and heating hot water. It examines the impact of austerity measures on the overall need for and consumption of heat energy and its economic impact and compared with each other in order to achieve maximum efficiency. Part B is their subsequent application to a given object - a residental building, various design alternatives and the resulting energy savings improvements. Experimental Part C deals with indirect measurement of the thermal conductivity of building materials.
Calculation of heat and force field UniGear ZS1
Mokrý, Lukáš ; ABB, Drahomír Tůma, (referee) ; Dohnal, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my work is to describe high-voltage switchgear type UniGear 500R, which is part of UniGear switchgears family. I will focus on heating issue of one 500R unit and its parts during operation. Maximum values of this heating is limited by standards and can´t be exceed to ensure safe and reliable operation. That is why the heating tests are necessary part of designing and developing switchgears. Calculation will be made by two different ways. First is classic one-pole heating net method and second is numerical simulation in Solidworks flow simulation program. Except the theoretical description there will be presented also used 3D model and explanation of both method, used to calculation and simulation. Last point of this work is measuring of this type of switchgear and getting real data. The main point there is to compare measured values with values calculated and decide if is possible to simulate tests with appropriate accuracy. Then would be also possible to substitute the real test in laboratory, which costs many thousand crowns and takes lots hours of time. This work is collaborated with EJF division of ABB Company, where I am employed. Heating issues in this company is always on process, because of developing and improving of their products. So this work could be helpful in this field. ABB provides all materials needed, especially technical catalogues, 3D model and final values from laboratory measuring. Support from college faculty is mainly in study consultations and proposing of calculations making. In the end of work will be make final comparison and evaluation of achieved results.
Simulation of Heat Transfer in Low-Voltage Switchboard MNS - Optimization of Heat Transfer into The Switchboard
Czudek, Aleš ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The thesis includes diagnostics temperature field of industrial low voltage. Place of origin, flow and heat transfer are important aspects in the design of the switchgear, especially in terms of proper equipment layout. The correctness of the design of the switchgear is verified by measuring the practical temperature field during testing or in work mode. To determine the temperature profile, it is necessary to measure the temperature at various points of the switchgear, either contact or contactless method. Measurements are performed on standardized low voltage switchboards, which are located power elements. The goal is to replace costly and time-consuming field testing switchgear efficient simulation of the temperature field mathematical model developed switchboards.
Temperature changes during pulse charging of lead-acid accumulator
Přikryl, Kamil ; Bača, Petr (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the issue of lead-acid batteries, their charging methods and issue of thermal processes in lead-acid batteries. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first section describes the theoretical knowledge of lead-acid batteries, such as history of lead-acid battery, structure, principle of operation, methods of charging and thermal processes taking place in the lead-acid battery. The second part describes in detail the production of experimental electrodes. The last section describes the automatic data logger for measuring and experiments, which were focused on pulse charging method with variable duty cycle pulses.
Analysis of thermal processes inside of lead acid battery cell
Starý, Viktor ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
Lead-acid battery is one of the most widely used electrochemical cells. These batteries have been associated with supplying energy to start the car. Currently used for propulsion and the overall operation of hybrid electric vehicles. When operating lead-acid batteries are made inside cell the thermal happens. The thermal going generate heat caused by chemical reactions during charging and discharging of the electrochemical system, the heat generated by ohmic and polarization losses and heat mediated contact with the environment. In this diploma thesis shows the principle of lead-acid battery and thermal processes that take places in the accumulator during its operation.
Thermal analysis of synchronous machine
Bartoň, Petr ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with analysis of warming and cooling of synchronous machine. The warming is caused by the machine’s losses resulting from the conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy. There then can be achieved high values of temperature on the machine, which can lead to destruction of the machine. The transient thermal analysis, working on the finite element program Ansys Workbench, is used for thermal analysis. As an appropriate instrument, which serves for flow calculation, a module CFX in the program Ansys Workbench may be used. In the practical part the model for unhampered alternator with current in the field winding only was measured and after that, the measured values were compared with the results of transient thermal analysis. Speed and progress of air flow through machine were analyzed with CFX module.
