Reconstruction and construction of forest roads
Lejsek, Ivo ; Tománek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ctibor, Ctibor (referee)
Main aim of this bachelor thesis is evaluation of current trends in construction and reconstruction of forest roads. The main road properties are described in the introduction and all their necessary components need for their construction and the main types of reconstruction. In practical part of this thesis was described five forest roads and they were compared to each other in used construction and their drainage facilities.
The usage of asphalt and concrete recycled materials to roads
Svrčina, Vít ; Valentin, Jan (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
Currently it is important to address the re-use of building materials from construction reconstructed or upgraded roads. Commonly used technologies cold and hot asphalt recycling are starting using to complement with technologies using cold asphalt mixtures with rejuvinators or softeners. This type of asphalt mixtures could be used in pavement constructions with lower traffic load. This thesis deals with the design and laboratory assessment of unbound and bound mixtures R-material and recycled concrete. This thesis is experimentally testing the possibility of using functional tests to optimize the design of asphalt mixture with 100% representation of R-material with a possible revival of asphalt emulsion with a rejuvenator.
Variant solution I/57 in section Semetín-Bystřička
Kovářová, Veronika ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of my thesis is a variant I/57 in the section Semetín-Bystřička. The proposed route of communication, was part of an existing communications maintained for its full utilization. Were drawn four proposed variants of the solution, 3 variants are trying their best to use existing communication Jablůnka the village, one suggested option B that leads outside the existing road.
Rejvíz Bridge in Jeseník
Dvořák, Jan ; Smítal, Petr (referee) ; Holcner, Petr (advisor)
The subject of my diploma thesis is to design the intersection of roads I/44 and II/453 in urban area of Jeseník. Part of the proposal is to address traffic and pedestrian connection to the adjacent tertiary roads.
Design of the local connecting road with the tram track of the line no.3 in the area of Zbrojovka in Brno
Paszandová, Zuzana ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Pavlíček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of the tram power collecting route and the tram track of the route no. 3 in reconstruction area recently called “Zbrojovka Brno”. Connection to the present infrastructure is also considered. Housing, resting, administration sectors and tram stops are designed for easy availability in the new area. Because the railroad bounds the area on the East and will be extended in the future, joining the tram transport with integrated transport system in Židenice is possible. Design includes the new bridge across Svitava river and connection with surrounding areas. If we divide individual car transport (IAD) from the tram route, the trolley car transportation is designed in place IAD.
Design of pavement structures with the program ALIZE
Kašný, Michal ; Varaus, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of stress and strain burdened road construction. Comparison of dimensioning using programs LayEps and Alize and introduction modules of this program.
The study asphalt cold milling machines
Poul, Ondřej ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this Bachelor’s thesis was to carry out a study of cold planers. At the beginning the thesis describes the different technologies of milling. There is also a force analysis of the whole milling process. The following part is about categorization of road cold milling machines. The next point of thesis is about construction of individual parts of cold planers. In the end there is an analysis of the operational and technical parameters of the milling machines from a few leading manufacturers.
Modern Trends in Vehicle Front Lights Design
Rada, Jakub ; Maršálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Raffai, Peter (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the modern trends in the design of the headlamps. The first part presents the sequential stages of development of systems used for headlamps and their design solutions. The second part focuses on the possible cooling alternatives of functional parts in lighting modules, completed with the results of comparative laboratory tests performed by front manufacturers of automotive lighting. The final section contains a comparison of the currently most widely used technologies in the vehicle front lighting.
Tyre Mathematical Models
Rubíček, Pavel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
Today the tire is an integral part of the vehicle. During its development is used in various methods. This publication deals with some of them. In her research is necessary to know its features and design solutions. Basic tire structure is described in the first part. These findings are then fit to the other chapters. In the second part there are examples of several tire models in the form of mathematical equations. These equations are used to determine the force and moment loads acting on the tire. The resulting load may aid in the design of new types of tires. The last part describes how to use mathematical models to calculate and here are other methods how else can it gets information about the load on the tire. There is a list of organizations that deal with simulations and tests.
Current situation of research into interaction of tire with surface
Kleger, Ondřej ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Jan (advisor)
Modeling and simulation belong to very important tools used in automotive industry of present days. Simulation forms basis for both – new vehicle development and also improvement of vehicles already in production. A key role of simulation may be seen in the development of vehicle active safety features such as “Anti-Block System” (ABS), “Anti-Slip Regulation” (ASR), “Electronic Stability Program” (ESP) etc. As a common feature, all of the listed systems require accurate simulation of the interaction between the tire and the road surface. Thanks to simulation tools we can model driving situations and behavior of the whole system so that it nearly mimics real behavior of the vehicle on the road. Nevertheless; despite continuously increasing accuracy of the simulation tools, a development process still cannot be completed without real tests and measurements on tires and road surface characteristics.
