The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design of a two-storey non-cellar family home with design offices. The object is placed in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town of Polička, k. u. Polička. The House is suitable for permanent living capacity of 5 persons. In the design office can work for up to 3 employees. Entrance to the building is designed as a barrier. The structural system is the brick, ceramic blocks Porotherm. Cladding is leaving the contact insulation system made of EPS. Ceiling construction and internal dividing walls are designed from a system Porotherm. The object consists of roofing flat roof. The facade is in white colour, supplemented by ochre tones. Fill the holes with the plastic, are designed as heat insulating triple glazing, color light beech. The House is equipped with a garage for two cars, for the needs of the design office staff serves a small parking area on a plot near the object.

The objective of the bachelor thesis was to design a semi-detached house where each part of the house is built as a separate dwelling unit. The semi-detached house is located on plots no. 5136/4, 5136/7 and 1395/1, 1395/2 in Brno, district Lisen. The house is free-standing, with no basement and it has two floors. The entrance and access road is located on the eastern side of the property. The supporting construction is designed from the Velox system. The roofing is divided into two aisle roofs with various inclinations. The house offers accommodation for 4-5 family members.

The house is designed in the Highlands on the edge of developing area Račerovice. The cellarless two-storey building is made of brick. The roof is according to local regulative plan made up of saddle-shaped truss system. The passive character of the house requires large glass areas on the south facade of the house and high-quality thermal insulation of the building envelope with minimal losses.
