Project developed within the Master's degree study proposes the study focused to identify and assessment of errors on the modules switchboards assembly line, because manufacturing companies are under heavy pressure to reduce production costs. The solution is optimization the productions processes and increasing their productivity.

Master´s thesis deals with the identification and evaluation of mistakes on the production line and their prevention. For the purpose I chose FMEA method. Theoretical part contains description of kinds of FMEA and their application. In the following part description and analysis of current state of production process of the product at NORMA Czech, s.r.o. was made. All important information were recorded to FMEA forms and finally measures for the most critical failures were designed.

This master’s thesis is focused on description and application of the FMEA method at the manufacturing company. The thesis is based on important steps such as introducing a knowledge database of all possible functions, failures, and countermeasures to minimize risks of a failure occurrence (detection, prevention), a failure assessment by Pareto analysis, and verification of the introduced template by a real project.

This thesis is focused on using FMECA in a manufacturing company. Analysis was developed in conjunction with a manufacturing company and its main goal is to decrease number of scrap. FMECA helped to find the most critical possible defects and then some actions for decreasing number of scrap were suggested.

The subject of this thesis is using of FMEA method and risk assessment in the production process in Eurokov s.r.o. company. In the theoretical part are discussed the detail different types of FMEA and their applications. The practical part is focused on analyze the situation of poor quality for a specific product from Eurokov s.r.o. company. Data is used for application of FMEA form and to specification of precautionary measures for reduction poor quality in the production process.

This master’s thesis is focused on an analysis and data evaluation of effectiveness of tool machines and their maintenance. There is a description of a technical production handling in the first part of the theoretical section. In the second part one of the most productive options to increase the productivity of the machine maintenance is described, and so it is the TPM (total productive maintenance). The practical part consists of an analysis of given dates and their evaluation for company needs. Recommendations and suggestions for the improvement are presented at the end of the thesis.

Design and optimization of hydrostatic pocket space

This diploma thesis deals with an optimization of hydrostatic slide of the large-portal gantry machine FRU (TOS Kuřim). First part of the thesis concerns with an analysis of the current practice in hydrostatic guides in the field of heavy gantry machines, an usage of alternative materials for a construction of carrying parts of machines, and possibilities of current simulation methods. Aim of the second part of this thesis is a brief clarification of the principle of mathematical optimization, and creation of general methodology of construction optimization by means of system analysis. Optimization calculations were processed by ANSYS Workbench 11.0. There is achieved adjusted and optimized design of the hydrostatic slide as the result of the thesis. Moreover, the comparison of key deformations was added. Created methodology is applicable in both an area of construction of gantry machines, and a wide spectrum of construction fields.

The master’s thesis describes and analyzes the current reservation system of testing devices in Honeywell, spol. s r.o. – HTS CZ, o.z. divize ACS. The system is analyzed by using Six Sigma methods and proposes for improving the current system are prepared. These improvements should improve the functionality of the reservation system and possible savings. Appropriate metrics for measuring and evaluating the functionality of the system are designed.
