The reproductive biology of the Mashona mole - rat (\kur{Fukomys darlingi}) from southern Malawi.
JERKOVIČOVÁ, Diana
The population of the social Mashona mole - rat (Fukomys darlingi) from southern Malawi differs from the population from Zimbabwe in many aspects of its biology. In this study I have found remarkable differences also in the reproductive biology of these two populations. The most signifiant distinctions are double lenght of gestation and litters with more and larger pups in Malawian population. The analysis of reproductive and ecological parameters in bathyergids did not showed obvious differences between social and solitery species in terms of reproductive and ecological variables, but rather between species from different climatic regions.

The Sixties is evaluated for high quality of culture. Althought it was not the priority for the political leadership. Therefore neither do I in my thesis. The hightening of the level of living happened one of the partie´s priorities. The aim of the work is to get closer to an everyday live of the citizens on the basics of economic and social policy of the state. All foundations of the comitee UV KSC for the questions of life level became the source basement, which were determined to it by another comitee and organs of authority importance interested in it. On the base of the source it was possible to analyse economic and social conditions of Czechoslovakia and reforms before all, wchich above mentioned comitee was proposing. Before all it concerned to changes having the influence on the state of life standard. Population, flat, salary, price, socila policy of the state induce its quality. I ellected population problemacy, flat crisis, economic reforms, role of women, mainly the employment of women, shortening of working time, a question of free time and socilailist family as the crucial topic of the thesis. Politicaly relieved period of the sixties enabled an introduction of a new system of conducting national economy with the outsanding influence on material satiation of the citizens. Genetic diversity of European greyling (Thymallus thymallus) in the Czech Republic based on mitochondrial DNA variation
HAVELKA, Miloš
Goal of this Thesis is the comparison of the Grayling˘s genetic diversity. The complete mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) control region (1083 base pairs) and gene for cytochrom B (1076 base pairs) were sequenced in 147 European grayling (Thymallus thymallus), from 21 populations in Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bosnia. In samples, 17 haplotypes were detected with average haplotype diversity Hd = 0,5480 and genic differentiation (FST) from 0,001 to the 0.9341. The most common haplotype TH1 was detected in 92 samples. An inferred intraspecific phylogenetic tree revealed three well-separated clades. One clade was represented by Danubian haplotypes from Slovakia. Second highly divergent clade contained individuals from river Vrbas in Bosnia, and the last biggest clade included haplotypes of all three sea basins from Czech Republic. We suppose that the gained results will be later utilized to the choice of suitable conservation measures that will lead to stabilization of the state of ancestral population of this ever more rare species in our region.
