OSTRÁ, Johana
This bachelor thesis deals with low-threshold facilities and their services in South Bohemia. In the theoretical part of the work i will try to explain the term low-threshold facility, in the second part i will deal with its mission and importance. The services of the low-threshold facilities are defined by the law No. 108/2006 about social services and about the target group for witch the services are primarily aimed. In frame of this work i am also dealing with the usefulness of specialized pedagogy, in particular etopaedia, which is dealing with children having behavior disorders and generally with risk youth. Low-threshold facilities are distributed throughout the whole Czech Republic. There are twenty of them in South Bohemia. Their activities are focused at children and teenagers and they provide social services with the aim to solve unfavorable social situations. Key importance is given to primary and secondary prevention, and the facilities collaborate intensely with schools. Their clients are separated into younger and older age group, all of them remain anonymous and all services are provided free of charge. In frame of prevention some low-threshold facilities provide also terrain services. In such cases they deal with clients in their home environment. Practical part of the bachelor thesis was performed by interviewing individual low-threshold facilities in South Bohemia. i have approached all twenty available facilities, have received a feedback from seven of them, and all of them became subject of my interviews. The interviews occurred directly in the facilities with their employees, who were most competent to reply to my questions. The aim was to identify programs and services offered by the low-threshold facilities in South Bohemia. Furthermore, i wanted to establish the way the low-threshold facilities inform their target group about provided services, and whether the target group has any influence as to the location of the low-threshold facility. I would like to state that i was able to achieve the aims outlined at the beginning of the thesis. This bachelor thesis can be used by founders of new low-threshold facilities, but also by clients who will be able to find there information about provided services, as well as about the age span of a given facility. Finally, this thesis will be suitable for schools, as it contains information about offered preventive programs useful for school children.

Information in the social sphere for the citizens jeopardized by a social exclusion
FICHTNEROVÁ, Eva
The research of my bachelor work was focused on the issue how much are information necessary and interesting for the people jeopardized by a social exclusion, if they properly get to them and if they have the right form. There is a lot of information in the social sphere and they are important for all of us. From the questionnaires I gave to the people in the sanctuary House of St. Paul and in the streets of České Budějovice I received many answers significant for the knowledge of our community and for my job in public relations with Městská charita České Budějovice (a charitable non-governmental organization). In theoretical part of my work I described general causes and specific problems associated with the life of the excluded citizens, especially their difficulties with the employment, health state, problems with information and communication barriers with organizations and institutions, examples of their excluded or homeless life, possibilities how to return to the common life. In relation to the social services I stated some fundamental legislature. In the practical part I concentrated on the question of a passing and preferred forms of information among them. Answers I got brought me to improvements even in my job (for example a better marking to the sanctuary house from the railway station, maps on the web sites with a marking of the way and the bus stop, more brochures with information in the railway station). I learned that homeless people would be very glad to obtain some knowledge in the field of information technologies and I recommended Internet courses for them. I realized, that all the people living in the street, are interested in information and the most essential way, how to provide information to them, is a street-work.
