The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the warehouse space layout design of the new production, dispatch and warehouse hall in the company DIEFFENBACHER–CZ, hydraulické lisy, s.r.o. (hereinafter DCZ). This work results in the proposal of warehouse area and placement within the production, dispatch and warehouse hall, which includes the proposal of warehouse equipment with pallet and cantilever rack system.
Planning of logistics processes by computer simulation

Contents of this diploma thesis is creating of the simulation model of the logistic chain of the internal transport to evaluation of the impacts of the projected changes of the parameters of the logistic chain. The simulation model is created in Plant Simulation software by association Siemens PLM Software. An analysis of the discussed area is also included in the thesis. With the help of the simulation model it is tested if the modification of the logistic chain elements has positive impact on important characteristics of production of the given area. Conclusion are made from the results of the experiments and a modification of the logistic chain is suggested.

At the conclusion summarizes the suggestions for improvement across the entire logistics chain, which should lead to more efficient passage of the contract, and more flexible responses to problems that arise.

In the analysis of current situation in the company is described a current progress of a contract, an analysis of processes in the company and costs. In the last part of the thesis are final proposals which should help to the better progress of a contract, to save time, costs and to increase satisfaction of a customers and also leadership of the company.

The thesis „The Inventory Management of Trading Company” deals with the issue of material flow and inventory management. In the introductory part of the thesis, the theoretical basis of supply logistics in a logistics chain, the issue of inventory, its storage and in particular its management have been defined. In the second part, inventory management in a logistics center of a company has been analyzed. The present diploma thesis deals with new optimization suggestions and their introduction to the logistics distribution chain of the online shop administered by the Lilien Czech Jewelry s.r.o. company. The thesis is comprised of two interconnected parts. The first, theoretical part, is dedicated to the description of key terms which are necessary for the general understanding of the importance of logistics chains in the efficiency of a company, as well as for the understaning of the practical part which follows. The second, practical part, deals with the company in question itself. The aim of the thesis is to provide an evaluation of the logistics chain of the given company as well as its resources. This includes an overview of the state of things before and after innovations proposed and carried out based on a previous bachelor's thesis. Further, the thesis treats the topic of new optimization suggestions regarding the processes involved in the flow of goods to the customer. This concerns specifically suggestions affecting the international distribution of delivery and storage within the company. Other phases of the chain are, however, not omitted.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of external risk factors consequences on goods regard to its characteristics, length and complexity of transport chains in national and international transport. This thesis looks at the methods of protection of goods together with process of loading, reloading, unloading, packaging, labelling, stowing and securing of goods for transportation, storage and handling. In the end it deals with the logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials pointing at stress risks and its protection. The first chapter describes the significance of international transport and it defines goods characteristics, external risk factors and transport chains. The second chapter deals with technologies in logistics. The third and fourth chapter study packaging and system of protection. The fifth chapter contains information about cargo stowing and securing in means of transport. The last chapter deals with logistics chain of chocolate and its raw materials, starting with growing cocoa beans in Africa and ending in Czech retail store.
