The use of optimization in production planning
Pokorný, Pavel ; Rais, Karel (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The Master’s thesis deals with production scheduling in an industrial company. It uses the means of artificial intelligence to develop an appropriate production schedule in a generalized Flow-shop Programming problem. This problem can be solved by application which is a result of this thesis and was prepaired with use of the software Matlab 7.1 and its Genetic Algorithm and Direct Search toolbox. There is a part devoted to the use of advanced production systems (APS) and the concept of the operative production planning in praxis as well. The thesis pays attention to various optimization models in production scheduling and supply chain management too.
EEG Analysis During Anaesthesia
Hodulíková, Tereza ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Sadovský, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the method of functional examination of brain electric activity. In the first part is description of central nervous system, method of electroencephalography and possible connections. Furthermor the project involves characteristic of EEG signal and its artifacts. It also includes signal processing and list of symptoms, which will be used for an analysis of the EEG during anesthesia. The second part of thesis involves development of application, which allow viewing and proccesing of EEG signal. In conclusion of thesis is carried out unequal segmentation and statistical processing.
The Cogeneration Units for Family House - Evaluation and Simulation
Martynek, Václav ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with cogeneration units of low power that are used for heating of buildings and to cover the heat demand of small industrial enterprises. The introductory chapters are focusing on clarifying the principles of combined heat and power (CHP) as well as on the basic advantages and important indicators of CHP. The thesis presents a brief overview of cogeneration devices by type of primary units and also provides an overview of cogeneration units suitable for family houses that are currently available on the market. The text describes how to install and connect the cogeneration unit. The fourth chapter includes description of elemental thermal processes and possibility of heat transfer. The fifth chapter describes the thermal circuit model and calculation efficiency of a cogeneration unit. Thermal circuit consists of a cogeneration unit and a multivalent tank for hot water heating system and potable hot water system. The object of master’s thesis is to create a model of thermal circuit cogeneration units in a simulation program and a graphical user interface, that will allow a simple way to evaluate the operation of the cogeneration unit when changing the input parameters.
Design of software environment for processing data from telecommunication network measurement
Fornůsek, Jan ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Reichert, Pavel (advisor)
This document introduces the reader with measurements related to optical networks. This is not a list of all measurements. There are only mentioned selected measurements related to input files into the developed application. The practical part describes the application's documentation.
Supporting materials for studying GUI in JavaFX 8
Vallušová, Veronika ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the Graphical User Interface in JavaFX 8 and how it can be used for studying the field of Applied Informatics at the University of Economics. The first chapters provide details on the characteristics of the JavaFX 8 language and its architecture. Moreover, each application has its own logical and graphical part. The graphical part consists of the appearance of the application using a variety of panels and components and which should be used. In addition, a code sample is elaborated on how to program those using NetBeans and the JavaFX Scene Builder program. It is assumed that the reader will not have the Scene Builder downloaded yet, in this case, this thesis also describes a short installation description. Lastly, the current thesis will present the final applications as a product that is aimed at achieving a sufficient mark for the first part of the individual work of a follow-up course 4IT115 Software Engineering.
Framework for extending the functionality of the user interface components in Java
Herain, Vít ; Šlajchrt, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (referee)
Within the Java platform, there are many easy reach GUI libraries, among which developers can choose which one to use for their own GUI applications. These GUI libraries have some common features that allow to abstract to some extend over the use of a particular library. The thesis describes a framework which has been developed with this idea. Framework provides the possibility for developers to extend the application containing the text components, menus and toolbars of universal extension facilitating work with the text. In the theoretical part there are briefly discussed libraries such as Swing, JavaFX2, Apache Pivot and Google Web Toolkit. Further, there are analyzed design patterns, which are linked to the framework and abstraction over the GUI libraries and applications.
Automated GUI testing on Android platform
Hudák, Jan ; Doležel, Michal (advisor) ; Neugebauer, Petr (referee)
With the rapid development of the mobile device market there is a growing demand for quality of applications developed for these devices. One of the important factors that may affect the quality of the software is, due to the dynamics of development of this sector, automated testing. Great importance has graphical user interface testing. This thesis focuses on specific techniques for the Android platform, which is currently one of the most widely used mobile platforms. The aim of this thesis is firstly to describe the specific factors of automated testing of mobile applications that arises from the specific features of mobile devices. Another goal of the theoretical part is to describe several possible approaches to automate graphical user interface testing on Android platform. The aim of the practical part is to show the possibilities of selected test tools for concrete examples and compare them according to predetermined criteria.
Interactive applications in software Maple for teaching financial mathematics
ROSA, Přemysl
The subject of this diploma thesis is to search for the possibilities of using the Maple program for teaching financial mathematics. The basis is to create the maplet, which allows to users to fully benefit from the the strength of CAS (computer algebra system) created by the division Maplesoft of the company Waterloo Inc., through a simple graphical user interface. Maplets provide all the necessary tools for the calculations, they are very illustrative and help students to better understand certain problem. Detailed evolution of the maplets from its development through possibilities to its creation is also important part of this diploma thesis.
Realizace komunikačního profilu a uživatelského rozhraní pro generátor síťového provozu
Bilka, Rudolf
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a communication profile and user interface for already created software core of the network traffic generator. Author introduces the reader to possibilities of creating user interfaces in programming language Java, including a brief evaluation of them. Further, the available low-level tools for network traffic generation are analyzed. Based on the requirements specification is then designed and implemented user interface of the generator, which allows you to manage communication profiles and run individual tests over them. Finally, the project is economically evaluated and future development trends of the application are proposed.
