The Significance of a Financial Analysis in MĚŠŤANSKÝ PIVOVAR HAVLÍČKŮV BROD Company (Town Brewery in the town of Havlíčkův Brod)

One of the main and most studied areas is the area of determining their own financial situation or the financial health of the company. The definition of financial stability is a financial analysis firm. Thesis contains a presentation of the Burgess Brewery Havlickuv Brod a. s. and estimation her financial situation behind period years 2005 -- 2007. Work is processed using the selected methods of financial analysis, which apply to the enterprise. In addition, possible solutions are proposed and possible measures to improve the financial situation of taking, which underline the importance of financial analysis. Assessment of financial situation begins with horizontal and vertical analysis of statements, working capital analysis and balancing rules. This is followed by analysis of the ratio indicators (liquidity, profitability, debt, and activity), analysis of cash flow and analysis system of indicators (financial lever, Du Pont degradation). Financial analysis is finished the economic normal and the overall indicators (index IN05 and Kralickuv Quick test).

The goal of my work is based on dates from the company to assess its development and status of financial terms. The results of my work is focused on the use of management. To achieve my goals I have applied methods of financial analysis. I focused on the profitability indicator reffering to the corporate effort.I also focused on EVA meaningful indicator of economic value added sharehlders of the company.The contribution of my work lies in understanding the problems of the dairy industry.

Financial analysis of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s.

The purpose of this diploma theses is to demonstrate the comprehensive view on the "financial health" of T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. through the financial analysis process between year 2003 and 2007 from the position of the external user. The theoretic part of this theses is focused on the brief history, definition and principle of the financial analysis, then on users of the financial analysis and information sources for its realization including the pointing out the limitation of predicative abilities of the accounting data. Understanding of the traditional but also new methods, which are applied within the financial analysis (including the methods of intercompany comparison), is another part of the theoretic definition of the financial analysis. The practical part of the theses deals with the characteristics of T-Mobile company and with processing of the strategic analysis, which put us closer to the outside and inside surroundings of the analysed firm. It is followed by processing of the financial analysis of T-Mobile company (including comparison with its competitors), comments and evaluation of findings and results (including their comparison, where it is possible, with standard (recommended) values or with the "branch average values") and by pointing out strenghts and weaknesses of operations of the analysed company.

This may help to improve economical situation of the company. Over the years we can observe the positive development of the company. And it is improbable that it will face up financial problems.

Cílem práce je analýza majetkové a finanční struktury společnosti podnikající v oblasti provozování nestátních zařízení ? lékáren základního typu, společnosti Česká lékárna, a.s. První část zahrnuje teoretické vymezení majetku a zdrojů jeho krytí, které je následně doplněno o konkrétní položky dané společnosti. Navazuje problematika oceňování a odpisů, jakožto faktorů, které mohou významným způsobem ovlivnit hodnotu účetních informací zobrazených ve finančních výkazech, které jsou při hodnocení majetkové a finanční struktury primárním zdrojem dat. Druhá část práce pak obsahuje samotnou finanční analýzu za využití analýzy poměrových ukazatelů. Společnost je hodnocena z pohledu likvidity, rentability, aktivity a finanční struktury a zadluženosti.

A financial analysis of Casia s.r.o. company conducted for years 2003 -- 2007. The thesis is conceived for managers (owners), who are involved in a further growth of the firm. Not only standard quantitative methods are used in the paper (percentage analysis, ratios, horizontal and vertical analysis of account statements, cash flow, working capital, economic value added and financial leverage calculation), but also methods for complex assessment of the company: Index IN05, Quick Test. A part of the work is also an intercompany and industry comparison. Proposals for improvements are defined in the conclusion.

The banchelor thesis evaluates the financial health of the company and bases its statement on the outputs of the financial analysis. Considering the size and power of the company, it is very interesting to observe the influence of certain changes in the company. However, it could be said, that the company, considering the possibilities which it has thanks to its power, is unlikely to get into financial problems. Financial health of the comapny is firm.
