Business plan of a low-cost golf course

The thesis is divided in two different parts. In the theoretical one we can find information about golf, its history, evolution and an opinion about it. This part also deals with the operating principles of a golf resort, an ownership structure and an existence of a golf club. At the end of theoretical part is described the structure of a business plan in detail. The business plan is based on a real project of a low-cost golf course. It respects the investor's requirements and is meant to be used as a manual for operating of this golf course. We can also find the procedure for establishing a golf club, the applied methods of segment analysis and the prediction of activities connected to the club in the future that respect the factor of risk.
Business plan - Solar power plant

Renewable energy resources in the Czech Republic, especially photovoltaics, have experienced a great boom in the past few years. The investment in the photovoltaic plants has been and will be a very promising field for investors unless too many legislative barriers are adopted to make the investments unattractive. This diploma thesis therefore elaborates a real world business case of a solar power plant. Within the business case a sensitivity analysis is being made to evaluate the influences of external factors that may have a major impract on the effectiveness and returnability of the project. Conclusions made in the analysis help to make the desicion whether to realize or not to realize the project.
Evaluation of the investment project of photovoltaic power plant

This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the objective of the work. The second section summarizes the theoretical and methodological part. Theoretical and methodological part deals with analysis of the area, preparation and implementation of the project, methods of evaluating investment and defines a project risk. The third part is the part of the application. It is about putting theoretical knowledge into practise. The third chapter contains an analysis of the area, description of the company, economic valuation and asessment of investment risk.
Analysis of economical efficiency of Rural development program subsidies in selected agriculture business

The essence of the thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of investments supported from the Rural Development Programme in the selected farm. A number of investments has been solved now, some practical highest investment firm, to invest in biogas. The evaluation of investment effectiveness were compared assumptions when planning an investment of information resulting from the two-year service biogas. It was also based on selected indicators, assess the implementation of the objectives and programs.
The effectiveness evaluation of chosen investment

This bachelor work deals with area of investment decision making, which is fundamental for all companies. The aim of work was to evaluate the profitability and potential risks of brewery Alfa. In order to avaluate the company economy I created financial plan based on original company premises and requirements. The results showed the unreality of the original plan. That´s why I created alternative financial plan where the area of incomes, net working capital and the area of personnel costs were modified.This plan was evaluated through the use of chosen financial analysis ratios. In the end I evaluated effectivity of whole investment and its riskiness by means of sensitivity analysis and break even analysis.
RISK IN INVESTMENT DECISIONS

The topic of this thesis is the evaluation of risk in enterprise. First section summarizes common knowledge related to investment process and states methods used for analysis of risk and investments efficiency. Second part evaluates economic efficiency and risk of a future investments in the particular enterprise. Projects are critical to the realization of performing organization's strategies. Each project contains some degree of risk and it is required to be aware of these risks and to develop the necessary responses to get the desired level of project success. Because projects' risks are multidimensional, they must be evaluated by using risk evaluation methods. The aim of this part is to provide an analytic tool to evaluate the project risks. At first the thesis analysis net present value and other investment criteria of the construction project without risk factors. Subsequently the projects' risks are are evaluated by using risk premium. To study of how projected performance varies along with changes in the key assumptions on which the projections are based is used the sensitivity analysis. The main sources for data was the enterprise environment.
Verification of Applicability of the CE-QUAL-W2 Model for Simulation of Phytoplankton, Epiphyton and Macrophyte Growth in Lipno Reservoir

Verification of applicability of the CE-QUAL-W2 model for simulation of phytoplankton, epiphyton and macrophyte growth in Lipno Reservoir was tested. The model was first calibrated for the year 2004, then was applicated to the whole investigated period from 1.1. 2000 to 31.12. 2005. Sensitivity analysis was executed for mean growth parameters of phytoplankton, periphyton and macrophytes.
Valuation of effectiveness of constrution of photovoltaic power plant

The main objective of this thesis is to provide management of specific company with valid information concerning intended investment in construction of a small photovoltaic power plant. Valuation of the investment is done using methods: payback period, discounted payback period, net present value, internal rate of return and profitability index. There is a comlete sensitivity analysis included in the thesis. Besides the valuation itself, the thesis provide also relevant information about the company, legal environment, czech and european renewable energy market and current state of the project.
Economic efficiency of the realisation of a shopping center construction project

The aim of this final thesis is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the realisation of a shopping center project. We can devide this work into two parts. The first one is concerning the theoretical explanation of an investment project, its financial aspects and the criteria for evaluating its economic efficiency. The second part focuses on the evaluation of the Tilla shopping center project according to the previous theoretical description. This evaluation is made by the net present value, the index of rentanility and the internal rate of return. In addition to the previous criteria there are the financial stability and the economic value added calculated to obtain a global view of this investment project.

The aim of the diploma paper is valuation of economic effectiveness of the investment project in the sphere of optical production. The theoretical part introduces into the problems of investments and supplies a brief overview of standard evaluating methods. The practical part contains the description of the planned investment project, estimation of cash flow and determination of discount rate. After that, there is an application of the methods of effectiveness evaluation and sensitivity analysis for input parameters.
