Programming language Swift and its effectivenss of inslusion in teaching

This thesis deals with the Swift programming language and suitability of its inclussion in education. Swift is multi paradigm programming language, because it contains elements of object-oriented programming. But it is possible to try some elements from functional progamming. Apple introduced the Swift to the public during WWDC June 2 2014 and currently Swift is used in Mac OS X and iOS platform. This thesis is diveded into five parts. The first one describes the history of language and its inclusion in the context of other programming languages. Another three chapters introduce Swifts basic syntatic and semantic structures using the example of the term paper from the first semester . The final chapter deals with suitability of its inclussion of the Swift language into teaching at the University of Economics in Prague.
Comparative analysis of the implementation of financial literacy in secondary education

This bachelor thesis deals with different methods of implementation of financial literacy to secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part was developed on the basis of the research of available resources and describes the curriculum from the highest level -- the National Strategy for Financial Education, to school educational programs. It is followed by the description of didactic system adapted to financial and economic education. The analysis and the identification of content of financial literacy across three national curricula were conducted in the practical part after stating the problem, the hypotheses and the research methodology. The second tool of the research -- the questionnaire, was aimed to identify the way of implementation of financial literacy to specific secondary schools and mainly to state the main differences and similarities in the use of didactical and teaching means from the type of school and regional perspective and to complete the overall view on implementation. The summary and evaluation of the information were accomplished at the end of the work.
The object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum.

This thesis adresses the object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum. Objective-C language is an object-oriented programming language based on C language that is accompanied by support of objects from SmallTalk. Currently it is being used in the operating systems Mac OS X and iOS of the Apple company. Objective-C was created by Brad Cox in the early 1980s. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the object characteristics of Objective-C, to give a comprehensive overview of its object traits as well as the work with the objects and also to consider the usefulness of its inclusion into curriculum. The thesis has been divided into four chapters. The first part contains the introduction, the aims, topics and the advantages of the thesis. The second chapter describes the object characteristics of the Objective-C language and the useful terms. The third chapter deals with the work with the objects. The fourth chapter evaluates the efficiency of the Objective-C and its inclusion into the university education. For this evaluation, the following criteria has been used: the availability of the literery sources, the initial conditions and prospects of the Objective-C language, the popularity of the programming languages available, the usage of the language on the labour market and the demands of the syntax. This chapter also lists the disadvantages (advantages) of the Objective-C language and the possibilities of its usage.
The Jesuit College in Český Krumlov Options for educational use of regional monument in the classroom and in leisure time

The aim of my thesis is to prepare a creative project in cooperation of primary schools and Gymnasium in Český Krumlov with the National Heritage Institute in České Budějovice. In the project I am going to outline the great educational potential which that discipline may offer to schools. I am going to introduce the educational possibilities of using one monument within the city of Český Krumlov. I am going to link my experience and knowledge with the experience and knowledge of teachers (lecturers who teach history). I am going to proceed from the literature of pedagogy and monument care, regional history, the curriculum, the research and the results of which are published on the website. The project is going to be focused on complementing and diversification of the curriculum, which is discussed in schools and it/the project will contribute not only to the effective presentation of heritage values, but also to the development of education, creativity, and value orientation of the target groups in favour of the voluntary and sustainable care of the cultural heritage.
Matters of motivation in learning the English language

Abstract The thesis has a theoretical and empirical character. It deals with the motivation of the pupils learning the English language at the preparatory school and also with the general factors that affect the overall level of mastering this foreign language. The first part of the theoretical part is focused on the curricular documents (White paper, system of education). These documents contain important chapters about teaching the English language at the preparatory school. The second part is about the basic and main methods of learning foreign languages. The last part describes the pupils? motivation at school. A survey is related to the practical part. It was realized by the help of a questionnaire and a test. The received data inform us about the status of the school English in the comparison of what children can learn outside the school and how much is it important for their future improvement in the English language.
Utilization of Project Method in Teaching of Natural Science at Secondary School

The bachelor thesis deals with project methods in science subjects at secondary schools. In the theoretical part are explained the main concepts, the description of the project method, the types and phases of project method and it finally describes the Framework educational programmes for secondary schools. Great attention is paied to the implementation of the project method in science subjects. The practical part includes the expert research orientated to detecting teachers' experience and their use of design methods and views on the proposed project example.
Use of didactic and audiovisual techniques in education

ANNOTATION This thesis deals with analysis of teaching methods and it focuses on classification of teaching methods, their characteristics and their adoption with support of audio-visual and didactic technology. In the work I state different kinds of audio-visual and didactic technology and possibilities of their use at schools. I assess the audio-visual and didactic technology in terms of aims and competences for effective teaching. I also present elaboration of school educational programme for mathematics and computer technology and a few lesson plans for mathematics and physics using didactic and computer technology. Further the thesis concentrates on the possibility of use of an interactive whiteboard during teaching process and compares lessons where the interactive whiteboard is used with lessons without it. I also quote advantages and disadvantages of old and new mathematics textbooks for Grade 6 of secondary school. For a visual idea some chapters are supplemented with pictures.
Drug prevention on primary school

This diploma thesis deals with social-pathological phenomena at elementary schools. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of pathological phenomena and puts stress on anti-drug prevention at elementary schools. The practical part deals with the drug prevention, especially in the ninth grade from three elementary schools in České Budějovice and its surroundings.

THE THESIS IS AIMED ON COMMON PRINCIPLES AND PREMISES OF FORMING SEP AND ON REALIZATION OF SEP COORDINATED WITH THE DEMANDS OF THE GENERAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME. IT ALSO DESCRIBES THE PROCESS OF CONVERSION OF GEP DEMANDS INTO THE REAL SEP PROGRAMME AND ITS CARRYING OUT IN EDUCATION. THE THESIS SUMMARIZEES THE RESULTS OF SEP AFTER ITS ESTABLISHMENT IN COMPARISON OF HITHERTO TEACHING PLAN IN THE SCHOOL. Case study of Basic art school in Liberec, Frýdlantská - the specifics of work of a teacher in the educational-psychological context

This work presents a case study of Basic art school in Liberec and concentrates on specifics in teachers´ work in this type of school. The theoretical framework of this research was made on the basis of technical literature. The practical part comprises a description of the Basic art school with special attention to the educational program of this school. This part also gives characterization of specifics in teachers´ work from the view of students, teachers and a headmaster.
