Analysis of Financial Literacy in Czech Republic

The subject of this diploma thesis is financial literacy in Czech Republic. The main interest is the government concept explaining National Strategy on financial education and Financial Education System for elementary schools and high schools. The thesis also deals with consumer protection as it is integral part of financial literacy. Activities of Supranational organizations like European Union and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development are presented enhancing their impact on steps taken by Czech government. Eventually analysis of own measuring financial literacy is performed bringing evaluated and compared results. Based on those recommendation are proposed.

Comparison of the tax burden of employees in the Czech Republic and in Sweden

The purpose of this master thesis is comparison of the tax burden of Czech a Swedish employees. The first part describes tax systems of both analyzed states focusing on the taxation of income from employment according to the 2016 legislation in order to successfully perform the calculations in the following sections. The second, practical part is dedicated to the comparison of selected indicators. It consists of two parts. The first is focused on the calculation of average effective tax rate for various income groups and various types of taxpayers. The next part compares values of redistribution indicators, which are interval and global progressivity indicators (Lorenz curve, Gini coefficient). The final section is devoted to the comparison of conclusions of this thesis with conclusions of thesis with similar subject, that have been successfully defended.

Analysis of the financial management of professional football clubs in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis focuses on the processing of the analysis of the financial management of professional football clubs in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part deals with the financial reporting in the area of sport as a whole, further describes specifics of professional football clubs' financial management and serves as a starting point for the individual financial analysis of the clubs. Practical part contains the football clubs' analysis based on the previously explained theoretical knowledge. Ratio indicators and Altman Z -- score are used for the individual financial analysis. Furthermore, the whole economic branch is briefly summarized and identification of its characteristic features is provided. In conclusion, the results are discussed in detail and potential solution to the current situation is suggested.

The spread of moisture from sources of Mondi SCP and their impact on the microclimate after the project ECO PLUS - Installation of a new paper machine PM19

The report summarizes the results of the assessment of the impact of changes in humidity and heat emissions from sources of Mondi SCP for selected climatic characteristics associated with the expansion of production at the new paper machine PS19A. The assessment is based on a comparison of impacts to the existing system resources, including an increase in pulp production (Project 2000), and extended system of resources associated with the operation of PS19A. The results were obtained by applying a mathematical model CT-PLUME/MONDI_R. The calculations were performed for the winter part of the years 2011 to 2014 and included an assessment of the impact of point and diffuse sources on the climatic characteristics of the model area.

Wind resource assessment for selected sites in the territory of the Czech Republic

This set of studies analyses the wind conditions and expected wind power production at selected sites in the Czech Republic. At first, the calculation of wind conditions by VAS/WAsP 1, VAS/WAsP 2 and PIAP models is performed. Based on the comparison and analysis of model results, the generalized wind climate pertaining to the assessed site is estimated. The final results are calculated by WAsP model using this generalized wind climate. The expected wind power production of proposed wind turbine or wind farm is calculated as well as the map of simulated average wind speed and potential wind turbine production over the surrounding area. The uncertainty analysis is performed as well. This set consists of 6 partial reports.

This diploma thesis Business plan: Flats for rent to foreign tourists shows the reader the solution of business plan and project management in the real world. Theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the basic structure of a business plan, financial part of this diploma thesis and shortly describes the legal issues of rent the flat in the Czech Republic. Everything is applied in the practical part of this thesis, where the project is described, after that analysis of the inner and outer environment are made. The next chapter describes in detail the conditions for the implementation of marketing strategy. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to financial plan, in which are calculated few scenarios of the business idea and possible risks of this project. The processing of the business plan is focused on practical application and is designed as instructions on how to start a business in this subject.

Use of Bond Analysis during Estimating Process of Exchange Rates of Selected Securities

The diploma thesis uses theoretical knowledge from the literature sources. The diploma thesis characterizes capital market and the securities which are active on the capital market. The main theoretical part of diploma thesis is about bonds.
The practical part of diploma thesis is to analyse and compare the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond. All of chosen bonds are active on the Czech capital market.
The analyses of the state bond, the bank bond and the corporate bond are provides by calculating of the intrinsic value (the present value) of the bonds, of the profitability of the bonds and of the duration of the bonds. The analyses consists also from the comparing the liquidity of the bonds and their risk. The diploma thesis includes also a global fundamental analyze.
The final part of diploma thesis is comparing of the results of the analyses of the bonds and also includes the advice for the potential investor which bond is better for investing.

Hydrological regime of the Mladotice Lake

diploma thesis called "Hydrological regime of Mladotice Lake" deals with the hydrological function of the lake in terms of flood waves transformation and retardation. The author focuses on the influence of causal rainfall on Mladotický Stream water level fluctuation as well as on the ability of the lake to retain or transform peak flows. Relationships between rainfall episodes and corresponding Mladotický Stream peak flows together with flood waves shape and delay presented on hydrograms represent main outcomes and results of this thesis. Furthermore, Mladotický Stream hydrological data, which are used for the purpose of runoff regime analysis, are extrapolated by means of calculated convertible index. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

This thesis deals with the analysis of management joint stock company incorporated Prague 11 for the period since inception of the company from 2008 to 2014. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the basic concepts of solved problems. Here is the characterization
of financial analysis, its sources and methods to implement it, the most commonly used indicators and methods of their calculation. In this part also describes the structure of income and expenditures stock company. In the practical part of the thesis is first introduced
and analyzed by proprietary Jihoměstská Inc. Analysis of the company's property Jihoměstská Inc. was performed using methods that are described in the theoretical part. All calculations and graphs were performed and analyzed using MS Excel.
