Táto práca sa zaoberá Írskou ekonomikou a príčinami jej veľkého hospodárskeho rozmachu. Charakaterizuje Írsko a sústreďuje sa na tie aspekty, ktoré najviac pomáhajú priblížiť súčasnú ekonomickú situáciu a postavenie. Je tu tiež rozobratý ako historický tak aj hospodársky vývoj, pričom veľký dôraz je kladený na liberálne zmeny a hospodársky rast v 90. rokoch. Analyzuje postavenie Írska v EÚ a hľadá oblasti, kde by Írsko mohlo ísť Českej republike príkladom.

Foreign exchange reserves and international liquid assets

Práce se zabývá historií, současností a budoucností globálních devizových rezerv. Na problematiku nahlíží z pohledu ?rakouské školy?, která současný monetární systém vidí jako od základu nestabilní. Práce analyzuje dnešní kritéria přiměřenosti a poukazuje na náklady, které jsou spojené s držením devizových rezerv. Dále analyzuje příčiny enormně velkého obchodního deficitu USA a popisuje současný postoj čínské vlády k hromadícím se devizových rezervám. V další části práce rozkrývá kompozici měnových agregátů dolaru a porovnává je s devizovými rezervami v dolarech a množstvím zlata drženého USA. Dále práce kriticky hodnotí měnovou politiku České národní banky ve vztahu k devizovým rezervám, a to především prodej ?českého národního pokladu?. V závěrečné fázi analyzuje budoucnost českých devizových rezerv v souvislosti se vstupem do eurozóny.

Evaluation `s criteria of the tools for creation dashboards in BI solutions

Extensive solutions of Business Intelligence consist of wide range of projects. One of them is generating of reporting layer whose part is setting of dashboards. This diploma thesis deals with dashboards and tools serving to their formation. In the first part of the thesis there is explained the theory of dashboards in current company informatics. Consequently there is created a set of evaluative criteria helping with mutual comparison of the tool for the forming of dashboards, which is the primary aim of the thesis. In the last part of the thesis there is a presentation and evaluation of one selected tool (Dashboard Designer) according to the criteria stated in the thesis. During the evaluation of the tool it is possible to verify some of the criteria on the basis of practical experience. That is why the demonstrative implementation of Dashboard Designer over the test data is shown. Thus the second aim of the diploma thesis is completed. Aforementioned targets are achieved on account of pieces of knowledge about dashboards coming especially from the literature published by authorities in the line of business and from background research concerned with contemporary approach to the evaluation of tool for the forming of dashboards. In addition to formed criteria this diploma thesis can be instrumental to further discussion about dashboards and their role in current company informatics.

Narušení dodávek pitné vody velkého rozsahu jako hrozba a riziko pro obyvatele a podniky ČR

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ekonomickou bezpečnost státu, konkrétně na zvládání krizí, jejichž dopadem je narušení dodávek pitné vody. V teoretické části své práce uvedu rizika a hrozby spojené s krizí tohoto charakteru, přičemž se zaměřím na ty, které jsou pro Českou republiku aktuální, a dále zhodnotím jejich dopad na zásobování vodou. Zmíním orgány státní správy zabývající se krizovým managementem při nouzovém zásobování pitnou vodou a jejich institucionální strukturu. Uvedu metody a nástroje orgánů státní správy při zvládání těchto krizí. Popíšu možnosti zabezpečení obyvatelstva pitnou vodou za krizových situací s požadavky na kvalitu a množství vody. Z technického hlediska se budu zabývat materiálním zajištěním krizových situací. Praktická část je věnovaná vyčleněným finančním prostředkům správními úřady potřebným k zajištění přípravy na krizovou situaci ? narušení dodávek pitné vody velkého rozsahu.

Formy a techniky vedení účetnictví

Účetní forma a technika doznala během posledních několika set let velkého množství změn. V dnešní době je pro účetní formu charakteristické využívání počítačů a dalších technických vynálezů. Počítače účetní práci znatelně zefektivňují a usnadňují. Přesto je při jejich použití nutné počítat s určitými problémy a připravit postupy pro jejich řešení. Tato bakalářská práce stručně popisuje obecný vývoj účetních forem a technik a charakterizuje základní znaky současné účetní formy, a to jak v teoretické, tak praktické rovině.

Privatizace a její varianty řešení na příkladu velkého průmyslového podniku

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám některými aspekty transformace české ekonomiky, převážně týkající se privatizace státního majetku. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první, teoretické části, jsem stručně nadefinovala základní termíny, které souvisí s transformací české ekonomiky. Jedná se zejména o teorie z institucionální ekonomie. Ve druhé části práce popisuji průběh privatizace v Československé republice. Zaměřuji se zde také na kupónovou privatizaci. V poslední výzkumné části jsem se zaměřila na jeden z nejvýznamnějších podniků na Uhersko-Hradišťském okrese, a to na podnik LET Kunovice. V této části práce ukazuji různé formy privatizace na podniku LET Kunovice, hodnotím jeho nástupnické firmy a také doporučuji další vývoj tohoto podniku.

Privatization of big Czech banks

The Graduate Theses is describing a way of how banking worked in Czech Republic before the year 1989. It discusses changes which has Czech banking undergone ten years afterwards. It describes the period of founding both foreign and domestic financial institutions. The thesis analyses contribution of presence of foreign banks, occurring problems of small domestic banks and hegemony of four half-state owned banks. At the same time it discusses the coupon privatization from the view of occurring effects in banking sector. In connection to this, it does not leave out existence of capital cohesion in between the banks. Thereinafter the graduation paper deals with measuring of concentration with Herfindahl-Hirshman's index, in order to clearly confirm specific, Czech banking environment, with existence of four large banks and lots of small and middle-sized banks. The main goal of thesis was to focus on strategic privatization of four large banks. It analyses given topic from the point of costs which occurred with delay of privatization, and it creates a question about timing of privatization. Every bank is analyzed in this way from the beginning of nineties till the sale to a strategic investor.

History and perspectives of the VAT in the Europe

Value added tax is the tax of great relevance, it is the universal tax levied on general production. In practice people meet this tax very often a its theoretical knowledge is important. The VAT ranks among indirect taxes, of which the harmonization is most expanded and essential for formation of the united European market. The goal of the thesis is to give the overview of history, present and perspectives of the VAT in Europe. This thesis deals with the theory and function principles of the VAT. The first chapter refers to historic evolution of the VAT, arguments and process of introducing of this tax in Europe. Characteristics of inderect and general taxes are mentioned and the system of the VAT in Czech Republic is described in detail. The second chapter discusses the VAT harmonization, the tax competition, coordination and legislation in this branch. The third chapter examines the evolution of the VAT in European countries in recent years, concretely the evolution of the VAT revenue, the evolution of the VAT rates and differences in the base among countries in the EU.
