Financial Analysis of companies undergoing bankruptcy later

The work "Financial Analysis of companies undergoing bankruptcy later" deals with the issue of bankruptcy debtor. It analyzes the situation where the company gets into financial distress and financial analysis examines indicators that best represent the financial situation and the impending decline. It continous with bankruptcy and insolvency of the debtor, and these two parts solves from both a legal and from an accounting perspective. Both parts are supplemented by short illustrative examples, which should help clarify emerging issues. In the practical part a three companies were selected, which are currently in bankruptcy proceedings. In these were applied selected indicators from the first chapter and last part describes various bankruptcy proceedings.
Comparison of the solution of the bankruptcy in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia

The Master thesis provides a comparison of the solution of the bankruptcy in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The Insolvency Act and the Act of bankruptcy and restructuralization represent the current legal acts governing the relationship between the creditor, the debtor and the other interested persons. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the insolvency environment and ways of the solution of the bankruptcy in both states (to identify disadvantages and advantages of the particular cases). Furthermore, it aims to analyze the key and critical factors influencing the whole recovery process in the company on the practical examples.
Reorganization as an insolvency-solving measure

Reorganization is a rescue method of insolvency or immitent insolvency solution, in which creditors` claims are satisfied gradually from the revenues of the bankrupt`s enterprise, which is kept operational. It was introduced in the Czech Republic by the Insolvency Act on 1.1.2008
Difficulties of enterprises and their solutions (comparison of French and Czech legislation)

Difficulties of enterprises constitute negative phenomenon in society. They occur so often that both French and Czech legislator decided to regulate them by adoption of relevant legal provisions that offer particular ways of solution of debtor's bankruptcy. Bankruptcy law, term generally denoting this legal area, passed through "rich" historical development, what reflects in its legal, economic and social framework. Thesis is divided into four parts. The first one briefly defines difficulties of enterprises. The second one deals with different ways of solution of debtor's bankruptcy in French law, introduces principal changes that were made by the latest amendments from the area of bankruptcy law and by means of attached statistics illustrates number of bankruptcies and ways of their "treatment" in France. The third part deals with Czech insolvency law and underlines changes introduced by the new law of bankruptcy and ways of its solution that entirely replaced previous "law about bankruptcy and settlement". The last part summarizes findings of my thesis, proposes eventual ways of mutual inspiration derived from French or Czech bankruptcy law, deals with reflections de lege ferenda and outlines some terminological problems.
Bankruptcy prediction models

The aim of this thesis is to describe some of the well-known, as well as several less-known, prediction models, and to verify their ability of predicting bankruptcy in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis contains descriptions of these models, equations to calculate them and ways of results evaluation. Models by both Czech and foreign authors are presented. The practical part of the thesis verifies the ability of these models to predict bankruptcy on a sample of eight randomly selected companies which suffered serious financial problems. At the end of this thesis, the results from evaluating of these companies by prediction models are summarized.

The diploma work is describing the structure, process and the goal of an bankruptcy trial including its economical outcomes and some accounting impacts on the debtor as well as on the creditor. It also explains fundamental terms of this situation such as "property substance", bankruptcy register or the way of registering the receivables to the trial. The following part of this work is applying to the defintion and postition describtion of each bankruptcy trial participant as well as the court as such. Next topic is explaining phases of the trial and possible ways of solving bankruptcy or brewing bankruptcy which the czech bankruptcy law enables. The practical part of this diploma work explains the process of one of the way of solving insolvency - bankruptcy with some tax impacts on the debtor.
Insolvency proceedings from the view of insolvency administrator's duties

This diploma thesis deals with the insolvency administrator. The objects of this work are mainly are the duties that insolvency administrator has to execute during the insolvency proceeding and the necessary requirements for the performance of the insolvency administrator's function. The objective of this work is to clarify the role of insolvency administrator in the particular phases of insolvency proceedings in general terms and the definition of his position and responsibilities in different types of insolvency proceedings. The aim of this work is also to analyze the assumptions that insolvency administrator must meet in order to obtain permission to perform the function of the insolvency administrator.

The aim of my thesis "Comparison of Bankruptcy and Composition Act No 328/1991 and Act No 182/2006 Insolvency and methods for its resolution (Insolvency Act)" is to bring general review of most important changes that was brought by a new legal regulation of insolvency law. Main accent is put to evaluation of new legal regulation directly compared with previous legal form. I tried to bring direct comparison of main features particular laws -- their objectives, way of definition of the bankrupcy, instruments for solving the bankrupcy, way of preceedings and right and duties of particular partipants of the bankrupcy proceends.
Legal and Accountancy Aspects of Insolvency Proceedings

This dissertation deals with the matter of legal and accouting aspects of insolvency proceedings in the Czech Republic. The first chapter describes the historic development of bankruptcy legislation. The second chapter deals withs matter of bankruptcy as one of the forms of crises solution. It defines the basic conditions for a bankruptcy, analyses individual procedural stages of bankruptcy proceedings because of prevailing solution of bankruptcies in this way. The third chapter analyses the present legislation in compliance with teh bankruptcy law and methods for its solution, Act No 182/2006 Coll The core of this chapter includes the basic pricniples and fundamentals of the new bankruptcy legislation in this country. Special attention is paid to the sanitation method for a crisis solutin in the form of reorganizing within a reorganizing plan approved by insolvency creditors. The fourth chapter is focused on the role of accounting ind the conditions of insolvency proceedings, this depending on the method for solution of the bankruptcy. The fifth chapter includes continuation of the analysis of information problem which will have to be trated within the insolvency proceedings under way. The sixth chapter offers the tools and mechnisms which can be used within the available information accouting basis for ordinary management economic and control activities in overcoming a crisis situation. The last chapter presents statistical data for randomly celected companies in bankruptcy at the time of this dissertation completion.
