Regional brand as a tool of regional development

The aim of this thesis Regional brand as a tool of regional development was to analyze the contribution of regional brand ?Šumava ? original product? to regional development in tourism sector, specifically at service providers. In the theoretical part were identified marketing terms and also other terms concerning of work theme ? as regional brand, regional development and to it related sustainable development are. The practical part is focused on collecting and analyzing primary data by using interviews with service providers ? with one uncertified pension and with one pension certified by certificate ?Šumava ? original product?. For both types of pensions were formulated similar questions concerning of brand ?Šumava ? original product? and for possibility to its contribution to regional development. The answers were then summarized and compared.
Regional brands awareness

The topic for this thesis was Regional Mark Awareness. Its aim was to find out, how aware are entrepreneurial subjects in a chosen region of the Regional Mark Šumava-originální produkt.The first part of my thesis is dedicated to information about the above mentioned topic. Necessary secondary data were obtained from expert publications, magazines, newspaper (especially newspaper called Doma na Šumavě), and from Regional Development Agency Šumava web pages. I gathered primary data in the second part. These data were obtained by quantitative method and a questionnaire was used. The questionnaire consisted of 11 questions and I asked various subjects from Šumava region in districts Český Krumlov, Prachatice, Klatovy and Domažlice. Traders and small and medium entrepreneurs who have business in the area of services and accommodation, in catering, shop services and the last category was other, where asked subjects could write down specific areas of business.

The main goal of the bachelor thesis was analyzed the regional brand Šumava The Original Product and impacts of producers, who are joined the process of certification. Marketing, marketing operating, marketing mix, the brand operating and regional brand are described in the teoretic part. Practical part is based on system of conversation with producers. The goal were find out contributes, main estimated elemnts of promotion and satisfaction with the brand. On the basic of results were suggested several proposals, how to improve knowledge about the brand and its promotion.

Regional label is a modern way to highlight the traditional Czech regions and also to revive their economy. My bachelor thesis is dealing with issues of regional labeling. The aim is to analyze the regional brands in the region of South Bohemia. The result of the analysis is a literature review and territorial analysis of the availability of brands in the Region, which were drawn from a study of related literature and other sources. The practical part consists of marketing research, which was conducted through personal interviews, focused on finding acquaintance reginal brand "Tastes nicely. South Bohemian" and awareness of points of sale. Also were conducted guided interviews, which dealt with the certification process of regional brands.

The subject of this thesis is created by the evaluation of the regional brand products using. The introduction deals with the regional brands throughout the whole Czech Republic. Following section contains the informations about the regional brand of The Šumava orginal product \regm{}. The main part containsthe characteristic of the assigned producers describing their experience, opinions and observations to the regional brand he Šumava original product \regm{},.Based on the findings of primary and secondary data were created the ´case studies´ of manufacturers. The penultimate part obtains the data analysis from all the certificated manufacturers.Conclusion contains my own proposals of the possible changes in activities of the Regional Development Agency that takes care of the certification.

Principal aim of the work was to determine the impact of certification and the potential for further improvements in the functioning of the program. The data were used to obtain interviews, the results have subsequently created a case study of manufacturers. Conclusion was proposed recommendations for improving services.
