Personal and family budget

The aim of this bachelor work is to bring theoretical and practical knowledges about making up family budget. The work is divided into three parts. First part is about basic principles, that must be adhered in order to make up a family and personal budget. Second part is about theoretical and practical knowledges concerning about the issue of personal portfolio. This part contains comparation of financial products, that can be used by building up a family budget. Second part can be also used as a source for choosing the suitable financial product. Last practical part is about making up a financial plan by using knowledges from previous two parts of the work.

The analysis of household insurance of the five highest insurance companies in the Czech Republic should at first familiarize reader with the theory of this topic. The next step of my thesis is to focus on the five highest insurance companies, which are Česká pojišťovna, Kooperativa, Allianz, ČSOB and Generali and describe the individual products of these companies according to the contemporary offer on the market. The main part and aim of the thesis is the analysis and resulting comparison of the products of the household insurance according to available information. In conclusion, I will evaluate the information based on the created analysis.

Property insurance focused on building insurance and household insurance

The graduation thesis focuses on two products of property insurance, building insurance and household insurance. The theoretical section shortly clarifies a base characterization of these two products. In practical part is a theory of insurance connect through different method of statistical analysis and actuarial calculations in order to detailed analysis of grade pointer, time series, influence factors identification or for purpose of international comparison. Following software were used to attain defined goals: MS Excel 2007, SPSS 13 for Windows, NCSS and Statgraphics Centurion. The mentioned analyses are based on real data which were made available by ČAP.

Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic

Bachelor's thesis on the topic of 'Differences in the structure of non-life insurance in the Czech and Slovak Republic' is divided into five parts. The first part focuses on the legal framework of both countries with emphasis on technical reserves and insurance agents. Further it continues with the characteristics of non-life insurance structured depending on the form of insurance, ie. the insurance construction, and also depending on types of risks for non-life insurance of persons, property and liability. One of the most important activities of an insurance company is included in the penultimate chapter headed 'The Settlement of Claims'. A description of the various stages of the process of liquidation and differences in liquidation of certain types of non-life insurance is also included. The last part is devoted to the analysis of differences of insurance markets in the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Property insurance in the czech insurance market

The main aim of this bachelor work is the analysis of the inhabitants property insurance in the czech insurance market. Firstly, the property insurance content is defined and characterized for the fulfilment of this basic aim. Then, the possible forms of the property insurance products are analysed and finally, the analysis of the property insurance position in the insurance market of the Czech republic is performed, mainly in the structure of the general insurance products nad the factors influencing the insurance. The work is primarily aimed for the insurance of household and buildings from the individual points of view and it should provide some general summary of important necessary information and findings about this kind of insurance. At the end of the work the insurance products of our three biggest insurance companies are compared and their priorities, lacks and differences are emphasized.

Pojištění majetku v podmínkách České republiky

Pojištění majetku patří mezi významné pojištění.Zahrnuje krytí rizik, jejichž realizací dochází ke škodám na majetku. Jde o pojištění, kdy pojišťovna poskytuje pojistné plnění při události, která na základě sjednaných podmínek postihla majetek. Dělí se na pojištění domácnosti a budov. Přestože přibývá počet přírodních katastrof, stále polovina občanů si svůj majetek necení natolik, aby si ho pojistila. Ve své práci jsem provedla analýzu trhu majetkového pojištění v ČR a poskytla určitý návod při uzavírání tohoto pojištění.

Pojištění majetku a využití modelování expozice

Práce je zaměřena na pojištění majetku v souvislosti s rizikem přírodních katastrof. Objasňuje základní pojmy používané v pojišťovnictví, popisuje pojistné produkty určené pro pojištění majetku, zmiňuje důležitou roli zajištění a zajistného trhu. Hodnotí závažnost přírodních katastrof z celosvětového pohledu a z hlediska České republiky. Hlavní problematikou je jednak možnost stanovení rizika povodní v různých oblastech a jednak odhad pravděpodobnostního rozdělení škod v pojistném kmeni. Metoda stanovení rizika je ukázána na vzorovém portfoliu pojistných smluv.

Živelní pojištění

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na pojistně matematické výpočty z oblasti neživotního pojištění a aplikaci těchto postupů na reálná data. Nedílnou součástí mé diplomové práce je tvorba rezerv metodou Chain-ladder a porovnání s metodou Bornhuetter-Fergusonovou a metodou škodního poměru. Další významnou částí jsou výpočty zaměřené na modely počtu pojistných nároků a modely výše škod. Podkladem pro tyto a další statistické a pojistně matematické analýzy jsou reálná data týkající se pojištění majetku občanů a k nim vztahující se pojistná plnění způsobená živelními událostmi.

Insurance Against Flood

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analýza problematiky pojištění majetku proti povodním a záplavám v českých podmínkách a zachycení změn pohledu na riziko povodně a záplavy po povodních v roce 1997 a 2002. V první kapitole jsem definovala základní pojmy týkající se povodní a vypracovala jsem analýzu režimu průtoků některých českých toků pomocí základních statistických ukazatelů. V druhé kapitole jsem se věnovala komerčnímu pojištění proti povodním a záplavám. Zmapovala jsem český pojistný trh a specifikovala jednotlivé produkty pojišťoven zaměřené na riziko povodně a záplavy. V závěru kapitoly jsem zachytila vývoj neživotního pojištění v České republice a na základě analýzy časových řad jsem provedla predikci na následující tři roky. Třetí kapitola informuje o povodních, které zasáhly Českou republiku v posledních letech a popisuje likvidaci pojistných událostí z těchto katastrof. V poslední kapitole jsem vymezila roli státu a zajišťoven při likvidaci škod z povodní a zabývala jsem se jejich úlohou při řešení problematiky týkající se povodní.
