Effect of merger to value of Lázně Aurora, Ltd
Vacková, Markéta ; Lešetický, Ondřej (advisor) ; Hajdíková, Taťána (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to determine value of the Spa Aurora after the merger with Berta´s spa by DCF method and synergistic effect of the merger. The thesis is devided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theory focuses on theoretical and methodological resources for the practical part. It deals with the company appraisement, strategic and financial analysis, appraisement methods and merger. Single companies and project of the merger are introduced by the pratical part. Strategic analysis focuses on micro and macroenviroment impacts on the spa companies. Financial analysis is done using the absolute and relative indicators. Financial plans of the both spa´s and acquiring company were created for the appraisement needs. The final step is comapines appraisal by DCF method and determination of the synergistic effect of the merger. In conclusion, the major outcomes are summarized.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Plačková, Michaela ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on an evaluation of existence of synergic effects within consolidating subjects. Consolidated groups are defined by theoretical knowledge. Suitable indicators for evaluation of achieved synergic effects are suggested in the next step. Synergic effects are being observed by comparison of parent undertaking and consolidated group in chosen sphere. Based on an analysis, results are evaluated if the synergic effects are achieved.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Hájková, Jana ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed at assessing the existence of synergistic effects of the selected consolidated entities in the Czech Republic. Using specific financial metrics, the objective of this thesis is to identify the synergistic effects which occur among five consolidated entities operating in the area of property. Measurement and evaluation are performed pursuant to analysis of financial statements as well as qualitative data and are supposed to lead to assessing the existence of synergy in given sphere of national economy.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Skopalová, Lucie ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is evaluation of synergy effects existence in a chosen consolidations subject. Joining of enterprises focuses on attaining certain advantage – synergy effect. This effect should be achieved in various fields. Financial indicators were chosen from theoretical presumptions and it will be finding, if there is a synergy effect in chosen consolidated groups.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Zemková, Jana ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problem of synergistic effects. There is the basic characteristic of transformations of companies and of consolidated financial statements in opening chapters. After that attention is paid to the suitable indicators to monitor the synergistic effects. In following chapters, the thesis is focused on the evaluation of the synergistic effects in the selected companies.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Schreiber, Adam ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This diploma thesis is aimed at the issue of synergistic effects selected consolidated entities in the Czech Republic. The objective of this thesis is the evaluation of whether the synergic effects arise in selected concerns from "Wholesale trade, retail trade; repairs and motor retail trade" industry. The decision about the presence of synergistic effects is based on the comparison of values of selected indicators for parent company and the concern.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Kubitová, Tereza ; Kubovic,, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with assessing the synergistic effects of the selected consolidated entity. The analytical part consists of a valuation of the current economical situation in the particular consolidated entity. The thesis determines appropriate indicators of evaluating the synergic effect. The results of these indicators demonstrate the existence of synergy.
Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity
Babáčková, Markéta ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the methods of assessment of synergies established in a consolidated entity. The text includes a definition of a consolidated unit based on theoretical grounds and a draft set of indicators suitable for the analysis of the achievement of synergies. Synergies are monitored through a comparison between the consolidated unit and the mother company made in several selected areas. Results of the analysis of the draft indicators are assessed to determine whether synergies were achieved.
The Existence of a Synergistic Effect in Consolidating Entity
Lýsková, Jana ; Kubovic, Pavel (referee) ; Rajchlová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the issue of achieving synergistic effect in a consolidating entity. Consolidation unit and proposed financial indicators for monitoring the synergistic effect of the parent company and the consolidated group are defined based on the theoretical findings. Based on the analysis of these indicators is evaluated whether the synergistic effect is achieved.
Advanced oxidation processes in environmental applications
OLŠAN, Pavel
The aim of this thesis is the study of application of the synergistic effects of various advanced oxidation processes (AOP) used for decomposition of chemical compounds resistant to biodegradation. The synergistic effect of photocatalytically active material and low temperature plasma were tested in my thesis. Model substances with photocatalytically active material were exposed to atmospheric plasma discharge (Gliding Arc) in order to improve generation of the active hydroxyl groups and oxidation processes. The first chapter of the theoretical part summarizes the knowledge of advanced oxidation processes, their principles and utilization. Next chapters are dedicated to basic summary of titanium dioxide and types of creating the thin films. The last part of theoretical chapter describes the types of plasma discharges. The experimental part describes the equipment for decomposition of chemical compounds resistant to biodegradation using AOP. Next chapter of the experimental part is dedicated to decomposition of organic dye AO7 and antibiotic Verapamil hydrochloride. The last chapter summarizes the results of the experiments.
