Rural tourism -- potentials and barriers: Case study Ivančice and Dolní Kounice micro-regions is the topic of the thesis. The bachelor's thesis is deal with tourism in the microregion Ivančicko specifically in the cities called Oslavany, Ivančice and Dolní Kounice. In the beginning is characterized tourism and agribusiness, which could happen in the development of tourism in this micro-region. The second part describes the micro-region as integer and individual cities. In the end are evaluated potentials from interviews and barriers of proposed solution how to micro-region Ivančicko make visualized.

REVITALIZATION AND SPATIAL CULTIVATION MONASTERY ROSA COELLI IN DOLNÍ KOUNICE

Diploma thesis describes the design of roofing for the monastery Rosa Coeli. The initial thought to perform the revitalization of this complex via this way was formed after an exhausting research. At its current state, the Rosa Coeli is sought after and is very popular among tourists; however, as an object, it has a fairly limited impact to everyday life of residents of the city Dolní Kounice. The roofing will, understandably, change the character of the building. As such, it will be usable during the entire course of the year – not only for one-off events. The construction of the timber roof truss consists from solid features, where the chief endeavor was to preserve the unique genius loci.

Socio-cultural centre Dolní Kounice

The work deals with the reconstruction of the house of culture in Dolní Kounice. The existing house was built in the sixties. Previously here was Orlovna. The building of the house of culture started after the removal which lasted a quarter of a century Later on the house was reconstructed in the nineties. The result is a building of rather chaotic form and moreover it does not fit with surrounding structures. The aim of this work is to remedy this situation. Using the construction work of the object there will be created a real house that will interact with the environment and it will respond to the actual needs of local residents and visitors from the region. The reconstruction of the house will create a compact unit.

Socio-cultural centre Dolní Kounice

My diploma thesis is based on the module Res Publica - Public works focusing on community buildings. Dozens of towns were surveyed, whether they are interested in reconstruction of their community or sociocultural centre, and eventually a small town Dolní Kounice was chosen especially because of the beauty of the surrounding countryside as well as the exciting native urbanism and architecture. This thesis deals with transformation of the cultural house from the 50s of the 20th century to a new cultural centre. The extension and inconvenient terrace were removed and the hall is supported by a new mass of the vestibule at the interface between interior and exterior, on the site of the former patio. Next, a new front of the building was introduced which increased the entrance of the house and created a space for a study room, small gym, meeting room and common rooms. The part of the house used for housing units is designed only with aesthetic details on the facade. The Culture Centre is divided into a set of materials in order to reduce the scale of the whole building. The entrance part mass, in contrast, is enhanced by its division and the chosen materials. In this way the originally embarrassing object of the Cultural Centre has been changed into a new centre with a clear architectural expression and the interior of the house is enriched by view of the beauty of the city.

Land use changes of Lower Jihlava river basin

This paper is dedicated to land use changes of Lower Jihlava river basin. The paper is focused on methods for mapping, analyse and evaluation of the landscape structure changes within 150 year time period. The aim is rekording changes in landscape in three time series, starting since the year 1845, 1948 and 2000, as well as to evaluace them qualitatively and quantitatively. Another aim is analysing cause of these changes.
