Changes in blood pressure during group remedial exercise in cardiac patients
Štěpánková, Šárka ; Majorová, Simona (referee) ; Daďová, Klára (advisor)
3 Title of the thesis: Changes in blood pressure during group remedial exercise in cardiac patiens Objektive: The aim of this thesis was to describe the changes in blood pressure during remedial exercises. Method: There were 11 females participating in the study, all of senior age and suffering cardiovascular conditions. The exercise unit was intentionally selected to suit treated cardiac patients. The blood pressure readings were taken during the one-hour exercise units at Motol Faculty Hospital. Mercury tonometers were used for the measurements and readings. Results: During the exercise, average systolic blood pressure readings ranged between 137,73 mm Hg and 183 mm Hg, (± SD 28,99) ,diastolic blood pressure ranged between 85,91 mm Hg and 100,45 mm Hg, (± SD 18,88), and pulse rate was between 69 and 77. In four of the tested subjects the systolic blood pressure exceeded 200 mm Hg during the exercise. The highest blood pressure readings were taken when lying down, after a dynamic warm-up, and during lying on the back while moving one leg vigorously. Key words: Blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, remedial exercise, measuring blood pressure.

Switch mode supplies
Hladík, Jan ; Martiš, Jan (referee) ; Patočka, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of switched power supply for laboratory lessons. Forward converter was chosen as the topology of this power supply. Output voltage is adjustable from 0 V to 32 V. Power supply is capable of output current up to 10 A and output has adjustable current limiting. Following parts were designed: LC filter, pulse transformer, bridge rectifier with capacitor, power MOS-FETs driver, closed loop control with its auxiliary power supply. Cascade closed loop control is used for controlling of designed power supply. Control is analogue, operation amplifiers were used for its construction. PCB was designed for the whole power supply. Power supply was sucessfully assembled and tested.

Detekční systémy pro měření vyzařování vysokoteplotního plazmatu tokamaku COMPASS na bázi rychlých bolometrů a měkkých rentgenových detektorů
Vácha, Miroslav ; Weinzettl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Piffl, Vojtěch (referee)
Title: Detection systems for measurements of high-temperature plasma radiation on the COMPASS tokamak by fast bolometers and soft X-ray detectors Author: Miroslav Vácha Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Vladimír Weinzettl, Ph.D., Institute of Plasma Physics AS CR, v.v.i. Supervisor's e-mail address: vwei@ipp.cas.cz Abstract: Multi-channel spectroscopic diagnostics on the COMPASS tokamak com- prising AXUV-based bolometers, soft X-ray (SXR) and visible light detectors will cover a wide spectral range of the core and edge plasma emission, aiming to realize a fast tomography at microsecond time scales. This thesis reports on a development of the bolometric and SXR diagnostics. First, procedures of the detector selection and their tests are described. There the design and tests of the special complex port plug, com- bining both detection systems, taken into account a strongly limited available space, a heat protection and a shielding during a cleaning glow discharge, is also summarized. Development of new electronic amplifiers and their connection with the data acquisition system is documented. In the last chapters, basic methods for analysis of data collected using these diagnostic systems are introduced. Keywords: tokamak, plasma radiation, photodiode, tomography

Realisation of the laboratory test instrument hardware for active magnetic bearing
Petrušek, Marek ; Turek, Milan (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The work is focused on the designing the active magnetic bearing and the construction of its fixing system. Hardware is designed to control the active magnetic bearing; it measures the rotation speed and does the following processing. The sensors produce the information about the magnetic bearing rotor location. The next part was dedicated to the development, which has been done in this field of interest. The used parts were mentioned with their characteristics and the function of power blocks was discussed. In the practical part, the realization of this magnetic bearing and the measurement of its location, power blocks and hardware behavior in the real design are described. The last part summarize all the work that was done.

Processing of Images of Petri Dishes
Adámek, Jakub ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with image processing of Petri dishes. The first part is about terms and procedures in laboratory practice. The following part is about devices and algorithms for image analysis of Petri dishes. The second part is about draft and implementation of own colony counting application, which was developed in cooperation with the microbiological laboratory. The application is developed for mobile devices running Android OS. The master thesis also includes the design and creation of two lighting units, which uses as an accessory for better results in the analysis of Petri dishes. In conclusion are presented results, compared lighting units and various types of mobile devices, on which the application was tested.

Detection of the pulse wave velocity in an elastic tube
Chlup, Hynek ; Macková, H. ; Vilímek, M. ; Žitný, R. ; Konvičková, S.
The velocity of the pulse wave in blood vessels is one of the important hemodynamical parameters to detect health condition or a degree of damage of a diseased artery. To understand the problem, the physiological values must be known. In our laboratory, the velocity of pulsewave in elastic tubes and arteries is measured in vitro by non-invasive method. The method is based on optical measurements of displacement of the pulsating pipe wall. A crash test camera with high frame rate of 1000 Hz (fps) was used.

Mathematical model of circuit in laboratory VUT FSI OFI.
Klapal, Tomáš ; Haluza, Miloslav (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with project and experimental verification of mathematical model of experimental circuit for measuring turbine in laboratory of Kaplan Department of Fluids Engineering FME BUT in Brno. Pressure and flow characteristics were modeled based on data measured on general-purpose experimental circuit. Possibilities of the circuit control, mainly by by-pass, were also taken into account. Characteristic curves should serve for preliminery design of the test circuit set up for the turbine model measurements.

Konstrukce fotopasti pomocí počítače RaspBerry Pi
ŠVÁB, Daniel
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a functional photo trap using the platform of oneboard computer Raspberry Pi version 2. Photo trap is going to be used as CCTV or Security camera which také a photo every time it recognizes a movement. When the photo is taken, Raspberry Pi sends it to owner´s e-mail address and a notification about a movement detection is sent via Pushetta app to his mobile.
